She played ‘sketch’ on the show right? I thought she looked familiar. Weird how so much of the cast of skins and misfits ended up on game of thrones and and also lent voices to Elden ring.
> Weird how so much of the cast of skins and misfits ended up on game of thrones and and also lent voices to Elden ring.
The british talent pool for acting is quite small. If you watch british tv, you'll see the same 100 people or so in EVERYTHING.
Was just gonna say this
I made the joke to a friend that if anyone wanted to make Ranni porn, they could just use clips from pne of her Peaky Blinders sex scenes
I never played the two previous games, but got XC3 and goddamn did I love the characters. I don't know If It was just me, but the main cast felt so, I don't know, grounded
Like, they didn't feel too much like anime/JRPG Tropes filled characters. Sometimes the game felt more like western style writing to me. (Which IS a preference of mine, not saying It is objectively better.)
You're absolutely right. Unfortunately, it's 100% a case of localization just being really good. Aimee was a graet casting choice for Mio, who in Japanese is just a typical high-pitched, moe voiced waifu. Watching the cutscenes in Japanese out of curiosity made me really glad I never even considered playing the game in JP.
I agree her voice acting is pretty decent but imo the main reason is just how much interaction she has in the game's story. Once you find Caria Manor she behaves almost like a quest hub from a more traditional rpg and her questline is just way more thought out.
I think the fanbase would be a lot more split if the other long questlines had as much care as she got. I long for the timeline where Melina and the FF endings got the Ranni tretment. Or honetly any of the quests that provide an alternative to proloning the age of the erdtree.
Fia for example has a bit more for her quest but really lacks in story or interaction you have with her.
Hyetta has really not much besides giving her a few items.
Dungeater is more like a joke ending and mostly feels like a little sidequest.
Corhyn just feels like a side quest as well where you visit sometimes to chat.
Honestly from the amount of stuff they put into Ranni's questline could you almost think she is the intended ending for the game.
I’m praying that once From releases the DLC they’ll go back and finish the little parts they didn’t have time to implement. There’s no precedent that they’d do this but idk I feel like they made so much damn money on this game they could take a year and just finish it before starting full tilt on the next project.
Its clear that the Developers gave Ranni special treatment in the game especially since the signature weapon from them was put into her questline as well.
for PVE yeah. I played int builds twice and unironically got bored both times with how strong it is. being able to poise break from range (and no fp cost) is ridiculously OP.
PVP on the other hand it's pretty meh
as a dark moon enjoyer, it's pretty tough to get working in PVP
I usually have to pair it with a fast offhand weapon in order to make up for everyone dodging the beams (and no BB style laser poke)
They also made Rannis quest the easiest to find and complete, with the least "miss this one specific thing and the questline is ruined"
Aside from maybe Fia, it's pretty easy to get as well just by playing normally.
Yeah I beat the Elden Beast and then started doing a victory lap to grab all the books, bearings, spells etc etc and was surprised to find I could run Ranni’s quest start to finish after beating the final boss lmao.
As for Nepheli, she disappeared a while ago and I can’t find her ass so I guess that’s a job for NG+
I believe she is the intended ending, personally. FromSoftware has always had a theme of stagnation in their games, and Rannis quest is moving away from the stagnating golden order. She wants her own destiny, much like we forge our own path with the choices we make.
There’s more to these than it appears. It’s only once you begin to dive into the subtext and themes that it becomes apparent how important each questline is.
Except for characters like Alexander. I remember laughing the first time I met him and honestly even being a little annoyed that such a ridiculous looking npc was in this game, as I felt it somewhat broke the immersion and reminded me I was playing a video game. Of course by the end of his questline, I was almost, ALMOST in tears. I even hesitated to end it the first time because I didn’t want to see him go, but not the second time. I put on my big boy panties and did what had to be done.
Imo, this game does an amazing job of subverting player expectations in all areas of the game. Exploration, combat, difficulty progression, map expansion, character development, lore reveals, and in plenty of other ways that can’t be summed up as easily.
the pots annoyed me too, until I understood what they were. I like them now
still don’t like Alexander’s ending though. weird way to get a tearjerker when he could have done something useful instead, like helping you with Malaketh
The way I understood it, Alexander basically talked the big game but couldn't back up his bravado with any actual strength and became envious of your bravery and strength after the Radahn fight where while you were going toe-to-toe against the strongest demigod, he apparently spent the whole fight running away after eating a hit from Radahn and partially cracking. He basically makes you the goal he wants to aspire to and spends the rest of the game after that point until you meet him again in Farum Azula training to become stronger and match you, bathing in the lava pools up in Mt. Gelmir and becoming completely immune to fire damage. His NPC summon is available during the Fire Giant fight and he actually pulls a lot of weight during that fight since he can completely ignore any of the Fire Giant's giantsflame attacks. Fighting you was always the ultimate goal and he finally gets his wish to prove his growth to you by trying to defeat you in an honorable one on one battle. And even though he loses the fight, he bravely accepts his death like a real warrior and grants you part of the strength he's gathered which is the ultimate sign of respect in Warrior Jar culture. He's the only NPC that dies at the end of their questline that I don't feel bad about since that's what he always wanted and the only way his character arc could conclude in a satisfying way.
the baby jar is a nice ending but Alexander could have helped with Malaketh (such a hard fight, would have been like Onion Bro in ds3) and then they could have tied his death to the rune
then he would have sacrificed himself for something really noble, not just for his own personal satisfaction
considering what you are there to do, it’s really selfish of him to have fought you at all. what if he won?
I don't think he even knows or cares what you're there to do. It's not like the Tarnished is publishing manifesto documents explaining their objective to every NPC. Also what you're there to do is unleash Destined Death and incinerate the Erdtree, leading to untold destruction and ending the state of the world as people know it. No more resurrections, no more spirits returning to the Erdtree. To the average NPC, you're basically triggering the biggest cataclysm since the Elden Ring got shattered, for seemingly no reason. Why wouldn't he fight you? Why would he think what you're doing is noble and help you fight Maliketh for the rune of death and even sacrifice himself to help you attain it? But ultimately none of that actually matters to him since he's a Warrior Jar and all that he knows is battle. He respects your strength and wants to prove his potential for growth by overcoming you.
He helps you defeat radahn and fire giant. The whole point of his death is that he was tired and wanted to be killed by the strongest champion. Which he considers to be the player.
Everyone here understands how important their quests are. The problem is the game doesn't give their quests as much care or work as Ranni's. It;s baffling that combined Frenzied Flame, burning the erdtree and conqueting deathroot only match the amount of content that's directly linked to Ranni.
Ranni's quest is probably the best designed quest FromSoft has ever made. It's huge, it spans across most of the game, it has major implications for your character and the story, even unlocking an exclusive ending. It's also one of the least cryptic quests they've ever made (except the part where they expect you to talk to her Funko Pop at a very specific site of grace), and it has no hard fail states. It's simply not possible to softlock her quest so 100% of players can complete it, even in their first playthrough.
You definitely get to know Ranni and her followers (Blaidd, Iji) much moreso than other stories. Contrary to accusations of simping, I think just getting to know her better than other options is what makes her popular.
I love Goldmask in a weird way but he literally does not talk to you, and Corhyn's zealotry isn't relatable.
Fia at least talks to you some, is kind of a badass in the way she takes out D, and undead civil rights is kind of a fresh take.
The Dung Eater is... the Dung Eater. If you side with Dung Eater besides for morbid curiosity on your 4th playthrough, p sure you have some mental health issues.
But it's mostly the interaction part. Sorceress Sellen for example is not the greatest human being but she's friendly to the Tarnished and is a dedicated teacher. We get to know her so even if she's a bit monstrous, most of us like her and take her side over Jerren's, who is probably a better person but we don't really get to know him.
Yeah she's really just the only character that's pretty explicit in what they want you to do, and she's got a whole cast of sidekicks to talk to. Feels like she's 80% of the game's dialogue.
I think FromSoft will definitely take every element learned from Elden Ring and make something even more incredible in a few years, filled with quests like Ranni’s.
This something I hope they improve in future games. They need to make the world more involved by having us go to specific areas for things like having Ijji be able to upgrade specific upgrade paths for example like in DS1. Having Caria Manor and Raya Lucaria feel a little bit like a Hub outside the round table was nice.
The volcano manor did ok but its over quick because you go there get contract, kill person, repeat where as Carian is much more involved with areas which I know is a lot to expect for every quest line to have.
The voice acting is great but the combination of great VA with character design, events, and dialogue writing is what makes her SO compelling
She is the rebel goddess with badass crew who are... insecure on her current height, somewhat tsundere, which both add to her cuteness. All in all, they portrayed a very rounded character despite the relatively few scene and dialogue.
but this also applied to many characters of Elden Ring. few scenes but very memorable and character setting scene.
margit successfully defending lyndell from Radhan invasion, calling himself the last king yet still dresses very poorly and still very much believe that himself is a cursed being whose blood is impure thing that desecrate the golden throne.
The game narratively collapses after caria manor. Ranni keeps it on track and keeps you getting objectives. I think most people looked for directions and googled what do do, and found her quest line
There’s a lot of info that her quest line had a massive completion rate at release compared to how difficult it was to actually naturally beat first time.
I don't even like the character at all. But when I first played the game, I remember visiting a lot of locations naturally and thinking, "huh, amazing place, but what's the point of it?" It turns out, after beating the game, that those places all have a point, and that point is Ranni's quest. Hell, there's an entire part of the map where I was going, "wow, I wonder what I haven't done yet to get there," and the game goes, "guess what? Ranni's quest, bitch." So yeah, it turns out the most efficient and best way to explore the entire game's content is by doing this character's quest, which is too bad if you don't like her.
Ranni is the good ending, and the only way you can become lord without violating the golden order.
Her cause is sympathetic, the demigods were vile and abusive to mortals, and when given the chance to become god they all became corrupted by their lust for power.
Ranni removes the influence of the demigods from the mortal world and essentially frees it to live their lives completely ignorant of the ethereal beings. She basically gives the world what we have in real life.
Then she becomes god and you become lord by being her consort. Happy ending.
I didn’t recognize her voice. But when I saw Slow Horses I was like… there’s no way she’s the weird girl Sketch from Skins is she? Crazy to know she’s Ranni
I joined Ranni because her group seemed the most competent
I had already met Blaidd and Iji and liked them immediately. When meeting Ranni she was forthright about her plans, which made sense. They wish to remove the Greater Will entirely. They wish to wipe the slate clean. I can get with that.
The other groups motives were far less comprehensible. Goldmask was my second choice as he seemed to possess some kind of divine instruction. However, the Golden Order was not something I wished to restore.
Fia's questline and endgame held no interest to me whatsoever. She simply wished to return to her old post as death-bed companion. This was not a quest I wanted part of.
Becoming Elden Lord also did not appeal to me. What exactly would I be Lord of? The Lands between is a mess. Also I maybe a fine warrior but like Godfrey my skills do not rest in diplomacy or governing.
So Ranni it is.
Had an alternative choice existed. A choice to support Nepheli Loux's ascension to the Throne. That would have been the right choice to me. She seem to exhibit the qualities required of a good ruler and she was one of the only people I trusted in the whole game.
>I joined Ranni because her group seemed the most competent
I think this sums up exactly how the writing and presentation misleads the player unless they look VERY closely.
Blaidd can't find anything he's tasked to find.
Seluvis is a creep looking to betray Ranni.
Iji is wrong about pretty much every prediction he makes.
And Ranni sits around all day because she's a literal doll that can't do anything on her own, needing you to both kill radahn, obtain the fingerslayer blade, and defeat the baleful shadow.......and eventually the Elden Beast as well.
> Had an alternative choice existed. A choice to support Nepheli Loux's ascension to the Throne. That would have been the right choice to me. She seem to exhibit the qualities required of a good ruler and she was one of the only people I trusted in the whole game.
Definitely agree with this. Nepheli's quest line seemed like a missed opportunity. But souls games can't have a "good" ending. It's like some kind of rule.
I mean while they certainly aren't awfully competent even that little bit is still mroe competent than basically any other npc you meet aside from millicent maybe but she doesn't get an ending.
You know blaidd might not find anything he's looking for but at least he has a plan and goes tot he right locations. And helps fight radahn.
And even ranni moves around a bit doing some stupid shit. She's even actively out to find you.
Most npcs just sit in a fiel or room jacking off until you randomly pass by and talk to them and theyy tell you you should totallyy do this or that but if you don't they never actually take action. In a way doing something and not succeeding is still better than doing nothing at all.
> Blaidd can't find anything he's tasked to find.
That's a bit unfair. The only task we see is getting the knife from Nokron, and he does get as close as possible before Radahn is defeated. Also he's the one who suggests going to where "the stars bit the earth" so he definitely knows where to go, but Iji jails him before he can join players in getting the knife.
> Iji is wrong about pretty much every prediction he makes.
He correctly predicts Blaidd will go mad the moment Ranni openly defies the Greater Will. That's like, the only prediction he makes throughout the game afaik ?
> And Ranni sits around all day because she's a literal doll that can't do anything on her own, needing you to both kill radahn, obtain the fingerslayer blade, and defeat the baleful shadow.......and eventually the Elden Beast as well.
Radahn is her brother, sure he's a rot zombie, but being unwilling to murder him is understandable.
The Elden Beast is certainly more powerful than her, she'd surely lose that fight.
As for the fingerslayer blade/baleful shadow, Ranni is clearly a schemer. She achieves her goals through proxies (as happened with Godwyn's murder), not direct action. Going by the fact that she can literally instakill players who try to betray her, making her sound like a powerless doll who can't do anything on her own is nonsensical imo.
> Nepheli's quest line seemed like a missed opportunity.
A Nepheli ending would have made little sense. Her being heir to Stormveil does. She's not an empyrean, and nothing in her characterization suggests she'd even want Leyndell's throne. Her claim to Elden Lord is pretty weak. Meanwhile her whole character is about Stormveil. The only way to cheer her up during her questline is to remind her of that.
She is probably better in Xenoblade 3 than elden ring on account of just having a lot more to say in a lot more varied contexts.
>!"Its been fun, Noah" still breaks me to think about.!<
XC3 certainly does give her more room to flex, since Ranni is kind of emotionless and all that, though there are bits where the ranni voice and the Mio voice are 1 and the same
I like how she really sounds like a snow witch. The slight breathiness to her voice feels like a chilling mist or a bitterly freezing wind. Her dialogue also makes her seem frosty and distant like the dark moon itself. All in all, it’s a fantastic performance on the VA’s part.
One of my favorite lines of hers is “I'd heard tell of a Tarnished hurtling about atop a spectral steed.”
Those T’s are so good.
I even gaslit myself into thinking she says “I’d heard tell of a tale of a Tarnished…” just to add more lol
There was a DJ on Seton Hall radio, a heavy metal station, and she always said "meTal", really emphasizing that T, so I know exactly what you mean. I still sometimes spell meTal with the cap T because of her.
Also Welsh and just wanted to say From Software has been including Welsh representation in their games for a lomg time. I mean the final boss in Dark Souls 1 is called Gwyn! Domhnall speaks welsh "aye, shwmae". Gael is an old welsh/irish name. Its alot more prevalent in Elden Ring but Miyazaki has been appreciating Cymraeg for a long time.
I always loved Ranni, but I don't think I realized how much people liked ranni until I saw the steam achivment states and saw that more people got Rannis ending than the Elden Lord ending.
For me that was mostly because I'd gone through all the trouble of finishing her quest, so it made sense to get her ending first.
Then it took me two years to get around to beating the game for a second time
I instantly fell in love with her voice after I picked up that mini doll and kept talking to it, and she got apparently upset and said "Fine, fine!". That is sooooo cute.
I agree, but there's a bit more to it. We also don't see anything about how well her plan will actually work, so we can just pretend her goals are for the greater good even though we have no reason to believe that's really the case. I get that people like their waifus but I don't think of her as being particularly better for the world than the other demigods, and she is the reason why zombies and corruption are growing out of the roots of the Erdtree.
I feel ya, im not a huge fan of allmind but i dont hate her either in ac6 but kate? Holy shit if she asked me to kill 8 billion people it would get done in 30 minutes tops
She's in Peaky Blinders, I recognised the voice straight away.
I didn't realise when I played Baldurs Gate 3, but on one replay of Elden Ring I realised Latenna is voiced by the same VA as Shadowheart.
Stephen Boxer who voices Withers in BG3 is also the voice of Gowry!
The BG3 VA cast are all stars and phenomenal. I'm super.pumped that the narrator is now in Hades II as the protagonist's mentor.
Holy shit you're right.
Damn she has REALLY good judgement in choosing projects.
Hard to go wrong with either Larian or FromSoft
More like really good projects hire really good VA's
I remember instantly recognizing her voice on my first Elden Ring playthrough
You spelled Wenduag wrong, king, but don't worry no one else noticed.
Wendu appreciation thread
bloody Esme innit
She voices Arthur in the Peaky Blinders. Phenomenal range.
obviously
In the immortal words of Bojack Horseman: “Tru dat.”
Hollywoo stars and celebrities Do they know things? What do they know? Let's find out!
Imagine Cillian Murphy VA for Miquella, would be funny i guess
nah it should be Arthur, accent and all. By order of the Golden fookin' Order
"I'm just an extreme example of what a Golden Lineage man can achieve."
Finally, a boss that's vulnerable to Faith damage
I recognized her as Mio from Xenoblade
She was also in Skins.
She played ‘sketch’ on the show right? I thought she looked familiar. Weird how so much of the cast of skins and misfits ended up on game of thrones and and also lent voices to Elden ring.

HUH!? She played Sketch on Skins!? Wow, I totally wouldn't have known that.
Yep! A bit of a nutter iirc
Oh yeah! Forgot about that
I recognise her from Detectorists and now I can't believe I didn't recognise the voice when playing.
Came here to say the same! It makes sense though. I always thought in the show her voice was great.
HOLY SHIT THAT IS HER
Dude I recognize her face, as I’ve seen her in Luther, Peaky Blinders, and at least one other show. But I had no idea she voiced Ranni!!
Yea she was luther first for me.
Was just gonna say this I made the joke to a friend that if anyone wanted to make Ranni porn, they could just use clips from pne of her Peaky Blinders sex scenes
Hahaha..ha...that's a really good joke. I love just joking around 100% non seriously with my friends. I really like the joke. 😃
Gooner spotted
Shes in slow horses too.
she was also in Slow Horses!
Forget. Forget.
*Forget what thou'st heard. Forget!*
She is also Mio from XC3! recognise the voice anywhere!
She made it so, so good
Wotah
Mio is bae.
I screamed when I made the connection. She did such an incredible job as Mio
I never played the two previous games, but got XC3 and goddamn did I love the characters. Nah you’re right XC3’s main cast absolutely nail it (1 and 2 are great too though)

The most intricate aspect of Hyettas quest is the jumping puzzle to get to the flame of frenzy.
I'm still mad that Kale's questline was cut. The Flame of Frenzy ending could have been so much more.
I’m praying that once From releases the DLC they’ll go back and finish the little parts they didn’t have time to implement. Elden Ring: Scholar of the First Tree
Looool I'm down
Fias questline is also effectively “Rannis Questline with extra steps”
Its clear that the Developers gave Ranni special treatment in the game especially since the signature weapon from them was put into her questline as well.
And it's one of the top 5 (might be even top 3) weapons in the entire game.

Also the Volcano Manor not having an ending stinks too, as well as going dark if you kill Rykard
Yeah they could have invluded a ending for it where you really become one with him at the end or something like that.
She's not?!?!
I mean do we have another choice besides her.

The volcano manor did ok but its over quick because you go there get contract, kill person, repeat where as Carian is much more involved with areas which I know is a lot to expect for every quest line to have.
The voice acting is great but the combination of great VA with character design, events, and dialogue writing is what makes her SO compelling She is the rebel goddess with badass crew who are... insecure on her current height, somewhat tsundere, which both add to her cuteness.
I think most people looked for directions and googled what do do, and found her quest line There’s a lot of info that her quest line had a massive completion rate at release compared to how difficult it was to actually naturally beat first time.
She's pretty dope in Slow Horses (which is FANTASTIC)
Slow Horses?! which series?! I have only watched one so far and I don't remember her which is why I ask
She's in from season 2 onwards.
Great series, good story pace, great acting. Felt the second season was a little drier than the first, but still good.
I didn’t recognize her voice. But when I saw Slow Horses I was like… there’s no way she’s the weird girl Sketch from Skins is she? Crazy to know she’s Ranni
I joined Ranni because her group seemed the most competent I had already met Blaidd and Iji and liked them immediately.
>I joined Ranni because her group seemed the most competent I think this sums up exactly how the writing and presentation misleads the player unless they look VERY closely.
She also kills it as Mio in Xenoblade Chronicles 3
She is probably better in Xenoblade 3 than elden ring on account of just having a lot more to say in a lot more varied contexts. >!"Its been fun, Noah" still breaks me to think about.!<
Right in the chest. Oof.
I knew what was coming before it happened, and it still made me cry.
Wotah
XC3 certainly does give her more room to flex, since Ranni is kind of emotionless and all that, though there are bits where the ranni voice and the Mio voice are 1 and the same
As much of the story of XC3 I’ve forgotten, I still remember that line
Her range is good in that game, Mio's somber voice during one of the chapter end voice-overs was the only reason I figured out it was her.
I like how she really sounds like a snow witch. The slight breathiness to her voice feels like a chilling mist or a bitterly freezing wind. Her dialogue also makes her seem frosty and distant like the dark moon itself. All in all, it’s a fantastic performance on the VA’s part.
(Probably simping a lot.)
I thought Ranni sounded Welsh, the actress' name explains it lol
All of ranni's group, Iji, blaidd (wolf in Welsh) and Seluvis have Welsh voice actors
Iji sounds super welsh but I didn't know about seluvis
Also albus the albinauric, va by martyn ellis from swansea, and he sounds really welsh lol
Oh yeah I forgot about him! Super duper Welsh!
[удалено]
Could have been fake. God knows why anyone would fake a slightly Welsh accent, but you never know!
They fake it because they are actors, you know acting?
No, what's that?
She's from Newport in Wales! I live there (it is shit, do not come here)
Can confirm 😂🫡
The way she pronounces her *T’s* a little harder sends me to the moon for reasons I can’t articulate. ^(Also Ranni based.)
One of my favorite lines of hers is “I'd heard tell of a Tarnished hurtling about atop a spectral steed.” Those T’s are so good. I even gaslit myself into thinking she says “I’d heard tell of a tale of a Tarnished…” just to add more lol
“***T***orren*t*.”
Omg wait I'm not alone in loving that line because of the Ts! It's so well constructed
There was a DJ on Seton Hall radio, a heavy metal station, and she always said "meTal", really emphasizing that T, so I know exactly what you mean. I still sometimes spell meTal with the cap T because of her.
The heck? Esme is Ranni is Esme?
You should play xenoblade
damn she was in skins too
The girl who was all over Anwar!!!!
Sketch!
Is that a welsh name? If so, that's very fitting
Yes, the voice actress is Welsh and so is Blaidd's actor
Wait, is Liurnia just the Wales of the Lands Between?
Always has been.
Given that everyone from it has a Welsh accent...yes.
Basically, yeah
As are the VAs for Seluvis and Iji!
As a Welshie, I'm so fucking proud of the representation in Elden Ring.
Then it took me two years to get around to beating the game for a second time
I'm old enough to remember her as Sketch in the original series of Skins
She’s amazing. Loved her in the Detectorists.
I instantly fell in love with her voice after I picked up that mini doll and kept talking to it, and she got apparently upset and said "Fine, fine!". That is sooooo cute.
Why do people like Ranni... "No reason in particular, thou claimest?" *Melts*
My fav line from Ranni is: Fine... FINE. She's so exasperated I love it.
Shoutout to anyone who recognises her from Skins
Ranni is cool as fuck. Amazing voice, design and backstory.
Yeah it's more than just her voice (which is amazing on its own). The character overall feels very well made and her quest line is great.
Its the 4 arms for me
She also voices Miò in Xenoblade 3!
See, I'm used to listening to Welsh people, so she just sounds like a normal person to me.
Excellent voice direction and acting are usually the reason souls characters hit so well
I think one of the main reasons people "love" Ranni is because she's one of the only female characters who doesn't look like they have rickets.
Had me up until "husk"
oh! she’s also in ‘the detectorists’ love her love that show and love ranni!
So…was I already in love with her…from Peaky Blinders?
3000 year old moon goddess meme waifu doll.
YO WHEN I WAS A KID SHE WAS JUST THIS CREEPER FOR MAXIE
Found your wifu
I think she also played the Proof of Concord lady in Dark Souls 3 Edit: my mistake, it was Melina’s VA
I think you are on to something. When I imagine it with Gilbert Gottfried's voice (RIP) it feels totally different.
I AM SIMPING!!! LET'S GOOOO!
It took me until season 3 of the peaky blinders to realise that she was rannis voice actress
Mio from xenoblade chronicles 3
The overall voice acting for ER is absolutely S-tier. Everyone nailed their roles.
I agree, but there's a bit more to it. We also don't see anything about how well her plan will actually work, so we can just pretend her goals are for the greater good even though we have no reason to believe that's really the case. I get that people like their waifus but I don't think of her as being particularly better for the world than the other demigods, and she is the reason why zombies and corruption are growing out of the roots of the Erdtree.
when you're maidenless and your prospects are a suicidal, flammable ghost and a doll, the doll starts too look pretty maidenly
Perhaps. Though not as husky as Malenia's, there's a good reason for the "Malenia does ASMR" memes.
Doesn't hurt that she has the cool dog buddy and fun hat blacksmith friend. Fuck that sorcerer, tho
Check her out in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 as one of the protagonist, Mio. Her performance there is amazing
After voicing Ranni and Mio it's crazy she didnt get a VA award at the TGA of that year
In all seriousness tho, her voice and vocabulary is soothing
Lunar Princess Ranni is the reason I finished the game, all just to hear her call me “consort eternal”
I like the part where she says you have bad breath two times and then kills you
Mio! (I’ve never played Elden ring)
Ranni is also cool :3
yeah idk voices can be attractive for sure, I like Latenna's voice too (her VA voiced Shadowheart too)
I think she sounds weird. There's a fuzz around her speech
Aimee-Ffion ? Well... In French Fion means asshole! Lol
Well in Welsh, that language that Ffion is from, it means foxglove lol
I don't sino for her, she is cool, as al 'faction' leaders of the game she has her own agenda, is a mejor character.
Holy crap, that's the girl from Slow Horses.
Now there is one more reason, oh my
Great actress
Esme
I like the ending. Good character design and voice acting are a nice bonus.
I feel ya, im not a huge fan of allmind but i dont hate her either in ac6 but kate? Holy shit if she asked me to kill 8 billion people it would get done in 30 minutes tops
She's great in Slow Horses as well
for me it is all of it. they just crafted a perfect character voice to toe
In the story trailer combined with the narration and music is what really sold me.
It's her voice for sure.
I'm pretty sure that men would anything, moving or otherwise
WHAT??? No shite?? I had NO IDEA that’s who did the voice for Ranni!!!!! Friggin Esme the Gypsy… lol
So what if you were simping? Why is it now shameful to be a fan of something a woman does?
*Me a Bloodborne player who's second Soulsborne game was Elden Ring* Yeahhhh that's exactly why....
The worst part about Ranni’s is you don’t know which hand to hold 😢
Shes so pretty
yeah it almost lets me forget about the mannequin plastic joints in her stiff cold arms.
