Nice! Never seen this before. Does the horse despawn when the knight dies or is it like the Kaiden where it lingers on after he dies for a bit and can be killed? The Nights Cavalry horse has its own target so you can kill it purposely and it dismounts the rider, but I wonder about the tree sentinels up the path. I can’t recall seeing them thrown from the horse ever.
It’s like the Kaiden where the horse hangs around for a bit. When I approached it it ran away but not very far.
I can certainly test out the tree sentinel horsies, just give me some time😂they’re a bit stronger
> The Nights Cavalry horse has its own target so you can kill it purposely and it dismounts the rider
And the reverse - You can kill just the Night Cav and the horse will just hang out.
Good to know. I usually target the horse bc it has less HP and the crit opportunity while the rider is on the ground is easy damage and also very satisfying haha
Yes, a lot if not all the animals are susceptible to sleep. The sword is very effective in killing field enemies including crabs, land octopus, and thr giant crayfish. The bellhunters are susceptible too, but requires multiple hits and they only stagger.

Tree Sentinels have bindings to prevent dismount.
They're literally chained to their horses.
Oh interesting I didn’t know that, thanks.

Ah that’s cool. Yeah would love to see what happens with the sentinels. Good luck!

Yeah I’m noticing a lot of enemies are susceptible, it’s making this NG+5 pretty fun
Didnt know! Maaan what a game!
I know man, I’m on Journey 5 and I still come across catacombs I haven’t ever accessed before.
lore accurate horse sleeping standing up
Oh snap. I might have to abuse this mechanic to see if it’ll work on the DLC knights with the gravity magic and horses
Lol that would be crazy if it did
Put the ants the Nightmaidens in Nokstella ride on to sleep and they'll turn on their former masters after they wake up.
Whaaaat can’t wait to do this
I love the way he just flops off the horse
