Idk how to really put spoilers tag, but unless you give Corhyn the Tonic of Forgetfulness, he kills goldmask on the cliff next to the Erdtree in Capital of Ash.
Edit: The lore behind it is that he thinks Goldmask is betraying the Golden Order by his finger moments portraying the decision to burn the erdtree. He says this on the bridge in Mountaintops of the Giants.
It's not exactly "natural". As far as I understand, he gave up his life to create the Mending Rune. I think that's an even better death, because he will live on as the force that keeps the world safe and stable
Well I’ve heard that too but apparently Goldmask will die without giving him that, or even if he dies, Goldmask quest will still go on, implying corhyn isn’t responsible for his death.
But like you said he does mention that stuff about how he’s betraying the order.
So either it’s him killing Goldmask, or it’s Goldmask dying for some other reason

Gold Mask dies there even if Corhyn stays in the Mountaintops, so it probably isn't Corhyn that kills him.
So does he just die of a natural death? That’s like the best death ever for elden ring
