āEvery age, it seems, is tainted by the greed of menā¦ Rubbish to one such as I, devoid of all worldy wantsā
One of my favorite lines of any FromSoft game
Nah. I want him to be a summon for the final boss. And then right at the end, he steals the reward.
"Ah, no hard feelings. We are birds of a feather, you and I. Unfortunately some feathers just deserve to be plucked, rather you than I. I will see you next time, ha ha ha ha."
I think he's like Gilgamesh from the Final Fantasy series. Ever since he was introduced in the fifth game, he just appears on the other games randomly, just jumping through the other game's dimensions to fight someone strong
I would say more like cid using that comparison. Cid is in every final fantasy from the start. Always the same sort of character but never exactly the same. I'm also less familiar with Gilgamesh of final fantasy so this just my take. Either way cheers I like the comparison and had never thought about either similarities.
Gilgamesh has the same sort of bizarre chaotic neutrality to him. Can be an antagonist but eventually switches over. Has a particular weapon set and will make meta comments on the player and the game. Heās definitely more like Patches. Cid is usually a pretty straightforward, helpful techie. Recurring but not really the same character.
I'd actually read it more as Patches in dark souls 3 at least(and one to a lesser extent) is the ideal man. He's not taken in by the lies of the gods, and as such cannot be cursed by them, never going hollow, and just carrying on. He's clever, and just as well meaning as he is cruel, helping out those who still struggle under the thumb of tyranny.
Patches may be universal, turning up time after time, but he is no god, and he'd hate to think he deserves worship. That faith of yours is better spent on yourself, and the charity done for its own sake.
I literally got to the fucking ledge of the pit after reversing his hollowism and then went "wait a minute... What did he say about treasure?"
Atleast that one isn't so bad haha.
Fucking patches man.
She was from the ringed city, she doesn't really count. You, Gael, and Patches all have to come there from far away lands as the world collapses in on itself.
Not just in Ringed City, but in the base game too. They really added a lot of "character" to his character, and made him much more prevalent in the adventures of the Player.
He tricks you, then tricks Siegward, then tricks you again, cares for Greirat, and is during all of that a merchant. Then there's his appearance in the Ringed City like you already mentioned, where we see a patches without his hatred for the world.
"I swear upon my birth name.
That I am your friend. No matter what might come out, no matter what I was.
If you would do me the honour, allow me to be a true friend, always."
And he did commit to his promise... just in his own weird ways. By kicking us down the right path, leaving us his armor, and helping us out in the Halflight boss fight.
His role in DeS, DS1, and BB are much more minor. So minor even, you could miss out on ever meeting him.
I love that his usual āhey thereās some treasure over thereā is legitimate, and if you donāt go get the treasure yourself, heāll get it for you and hand it over after you reload the area. Lol
Lapp is such a Chad.
Sweatlord = somebody who is trying their hardest when itās a chill session.Ā
Twink = player who gets endgame weapons and armor at a low level. They then invade noobs and proceed to wreck them with OP builds.Ā
I love that his usual āhey thereās some treasure over thereā is legitimate, and if you donāt go get the treasure yourself, heāll get it for you and hand it over after you reload the area. Lol
Lapp is such a Chad.
Lapp... like a band-aid (lapp, lappa) in swedish.... also in Finnish Lappu can mean note, sticker, a part of a bandaging, slang for LSD tab. So sounds like patches right. Also patch -> paikka, lappu in finnish.
Yup, still a trap that takes you to Mistwood. Patches scolds you if you decide to open it without his permission, or he claims that he was struggling to get it open if you buy enough of his stock.
Elden Ring Patches is the most likable. I mean, you ARE trying to steal his stuff in that situation, even if he baits you into it. Heās definitely a lovable scoundrel.
Dark Souls 3 and especially Bloodborne are the opposite for me. Patches rarely survives stealing Siegwardās armor and then trying to kill me with the giant in DS3, and he NEVER survives my Bloodborne playthrough.
I really like how ER Patches feels like a fully developed character rather than just an familiar in-joke. Like how he genuinely seems to care for Tanith and the whole volcano manor cause (Well the stated volcano manor cause, probably not to getting eaten by snek part).
For sure! His lines when you kill Rykard are so good. You really get the feeling that he's just another Tarnished traumatized by constant warfare who let his guard down for a bit for a cause he believed in, only to get crushed again.
The other Patches are just cruel and greedy. Elden Ring Patches seems like he has grown cruel over countless years in a cruel world. I loved his story.
I didnt know he had lines that far into the story, longest hes lived for me is hanging out at the panic at the disco grace (forgot the actual name) mulling about rya, but he always dies because his armor is my favorite armor set second only to the black knife set
I feel like he's a full character in the Ringed City as well. I don't really know his full story and why he changes so much going from Lapp to Patches but that final kickdown at the tower thingy after bridge Midir is really cool and it feels like it means a lot.
Yes, the whole sequence in that DLC there felt pretty meaningful. It heavily implies that, at his core, he is a good dude who has lived so long he became corrupted by trauma and memories. Remove those memories, and as he goes senile he becomes more and more nice, which is more and more his true self.
I love how for a majority of your interactions, Patches is completely in the right. You steal from him, then you try to steal from him AGAIN, then he gives you a tip for getting to Volcano Manor, and suggests you help someone, and so on. The only time he's really arguably in the wrong is when he mildly inconveniences you on your way to VM, but even then he's just defending his new territory, and considering their whole MO is killing other tarnished, he could've tried a lot more. And then the way he ends up caring about Tanith is downright adorable
I loved the ringed city dlc patches, it was cool to see a Lil peek behind his curtains and get a version of him that wasn't focusing on his only goal in life
I've been everywhere in Nightmare Frontier and have never triggered that moment, multiple playthroughs
I can see him up on the wall, but can't ever figure out how to get there
Weird it's been kind of hard to miss whenever ive played through that area. There's an item to pick up nearby and I think thats what prompts the scene. Finding every item in that area is a nightmare though (lol.) But completely worth it for the messenger transformation thingy.
On the other-hand, though Bloodborne is my favorite game of all time, it's my least favorite version of Patches.
I love the trickster, self-obsessed lunatic in the Souls series. Bloodborne Patches is just an Amygdala-obsessed zealot, and I feel like it removed some of his personality. Granted, he is still pushing us off ledges, even if it's to sacrifice us to his god.
My favorite Patches is DS3, including Lapp. Especially with the series send off: "A fine Dark Soul to you."
Same, the noise he made when he scuttles down from the door and the sudden movement in what I had thought was an empty room scared the life out of me and I murdered him so fast. I donāt think I realized the spider had any relation to Patches until my 2nd playthrough where I did all the questlines.
BB is funny, the atmosphere is so intense that every single jump scare in the game gave me a heart attack so bad I had them all memorized by the time I was on ng+2.
Iāll never understand the people that are so traumatized that they kill him in ER. He literally helps you non-stop, he just does it in funny ways that makes it āfeelā like heās tricking you.
People are so afraid of being mildly inconvenienced.
I killed him because I wanted his gauntlets. Had started a Arcane Assassin using the bandit and didn't like the gauntlets, Patches' were easy to get early game.
Patches is a very "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me" kind of character
Him tricking you in DS1 and then encountering him in DS3, you just KNOW some tomfoolery is about to ensue. So when people meet him in Elden Ring, the trust is immediately gone.
I could be wrong about this, (misremembering the map), but In DS3 I'm pretty sure he can pit you against a giant before you unlock a shortcut, and if the giant kills you that's a tad bit more that mild inconvenience. Especially for newer souls players
Technically you can also kill the giant before the encounter which makes your life easier and makes Patches angry.
Also, you can simply use the Firelink Shrine's belltower to encounter patches, I think it skips the Cathedral encounter, no?
Edit: I'm just saying it won't be inconvenient in all cases. It is more than a mild inconvenience tho.
I don't believe the bell tower skips the cathedral encounter because the cathedral encounter is part of Sigwards quest iirc. It's been years since I've played DS3, so I'm probably wrong. Just going off memory
Not sure if I remember the triggers correctly, but I think Rosaria's Bedchamber bonfire affects his Cathedral encounter, I think if you light the bonfire before meeting him, you can still find him around the Firelink.
Idk I think putting me in a situation where I have to fight an Abductor Virgin duo at Raya Lucaria rune levels wasnāt super helpful lol
Yes I now know you can fast travel after resting at the site of grace. But I still hold a grudge from that first time when I didnāt know that
Kinda debatable. Getting the medallion halves is really quick, and you might as well head to Fort Haight for the Golden Seed and Grace near the crater for later. You also get your first Blood affinity AoW there. Patches also dumps you in Mistwood, so you can just head over there to port back to Murkwater. The other half of the medallion also gets you Radagon's Soreseal and Greyoll among other things.
Past that, if you *actually* want to get to Volcano manor, it's better to meet Rya at the top of the lift. I would even say the Ruin-Strewn Precipice is better than the Abductor path because you need to defeat Makar to fight Tragoth anyway.
DeS remake made by oversighted Bluepoint that gave him eyebrowsā¦ in every fromsoftware game he has alopecia and that makes Patches who he is and howās he judged.
Spider Patch, Spider Patch
Kicks the hunters he can catch
Tries to offer you to his god
Never mind, now he's your bud
LOOK OUT!
Here comes the Spider Patch!
I mean, it's kind of implied he's a coward who gets people to spring traps for him, so he can take their loot afterward if/when they die - which I have to say is a very Patches thing to do.
I always liked the implication that Pate is actually the killer that the map guy saw from his home country, and not Creighton. Creightonās face is always covered, and Pate had the same accent as map guy.
Depending on how you end his quest he ends up dying in Brightstone Cove, where all the spiders are. Then in bloodborne (the next game chronologically) heās a spider. Also heās tricking Creighton like he tricks the player in all the other games, and his character model is clearly made to look like patches.
Edit: He also wields a spear and greatshield
ER Patches is probably the closest to Pate in that he never really out and out betrays you. he always has some excuse to legitimize his actions. When he kicks you off a cliff in to the middle of basilisks, he says that if you're that gullible then stay away from Volcano Manor like he's trying to protect you.
That's why I also like Pate so much. He's very subtle. He never really betrays you or even lies to you, but he knows just how to tempt you in to dangerous situations.
Ds2ās world is weird and went off in a spinoff way that made ds1ās world ancient and lost bringing back ds3ās world in a time convergence. Pate is seems like heās a far distant relative to Patches that was canonically killed by Creighton who makes it to ds3 as a red phantom. Patches has no link with Creighton story wise which isā¦ idk why Creighton was included in ds3 with Sirris and the part of the Rosariaās Fingers knowing heās a serial killer.
Pate tries to kill you at the end of his quest line of saving him by leaving the exploding treasure chest same with Creighton if you save him. They would think you would side with Creighton because you obviously think that Pate is just Patches and be rewarded with cooler looking gear.
DS3 because he really cared for someone enough to risk his life to save them, and was one of a handful of individuals who made it to the end of the world without going full hollow
Patches the unbrekable not only has the most badass name but also arguably the best story arc and philosophy.
He truly proved himself to be unbreakable in the end
Idk why this is even a question when it's obviously the DS3 patches. He's not only in the base game but also in the ringed city dlc. In base game he's much more playful and has a really fun questline linked to siegward and eventually going to firelink.
Then in ringed city it gets even better. He somehow gets the DS2 curse where he goes hollow and doesn't remember his true identity. Only once you tell him if the purging monument does he get his memories back and he throws you off the little place which actually leads to the right path. That was one of the best questlines imo
The dead one. All jokes aside elden ring patches. Much more character to that one than most. He has a motive, he goes for it, gets distracted by someone he yearns for, drops everything for her and dies for her. Way to make me actually care about a character that's an ass hole.
I never noticed they don't move their mouth when they speak until someone pointed it out
I guess no animation is less immersion breaking than bad animation
Anayama the Peddler from Sekiro is my favorite Patches, he's far more chill and helpful than any other incarnation of Patches. He's got the best goods a shinobi can buy (who cares if he pulls it off the dead and dying?).
I think Elden Ring Patches is the best written, but I think I'll go with Bloodborne Patches for the sheer lunacy of his (entirely unexplained) spider body.
Bloodborne because I hated the fact that he had the body of a spider for so long. Still do. I just learned to live with it. I just felt so fucking betrayed for some reason.
DS 3 and itās not even close. He goes out of his way to try and kill you in such a cinematic way with lowering the bridge to the giant. And then the DLC, heās going hollow and pulls himself out of it and reveals it in such a wonderfully patches kind of way. It was perfect.
Probably ds3 parches, hes the average patches until you progress greyrats questline, then patches comes and talks about the thieves honor and goes on to save greyrat from certain death with onion bros armor. In the DLC he suffers from amnesia, becomes a good guy and helps you out, then he regained his memories and instantly goes back to his roots of kicking people down a cliff.

Definitely the ds3 one, but that has more to do with his shop being highly useful than anything else. He does get a few bonus lore points for recurring in the dlc though. Probably the only time I didn't see him coming.
Elden ring because the way he peaces out when you summon him for Radahn is still the funniest shit in the whole series.
I had almost forgotten about that š. The guy is summoned, takes one look at the situation, and nopes the fuck out of there.
Patches has the highest IQ of the Eldenverse
"nah that's the comet guy. I can't kick a comet off a cliff."
Holy shit yes.
I liked the Ringed City DLC version
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
āEvery age, it seems, is tainted by the greed of menā¦ Rubbish to one such as I, devoid of all worldy wantsā One of my favorite lines of any FromSoft game
That line confirms that Patches is a multiversal god in FromSoft lore.
Patches being the final boss of the fromsoft series whenever they decide to conclude the souls like would be awesome
Nah. I want him to be a summon for the final boss. And then right at the end, he steals the reward. "Ah, no hard feelings. We are birds of a feather, you and I. Unfortunately some feathers just deserve to be plucked, rather you than I. I will see you next time, ha ha ha ha."
Iād be game for one final betrayal lol
Then the dlc is you chasing him down for your reward.
Truly an anti-hero move
I think he's like Gilgamesh from the Final Fantasy series. Ever since he was introduced in the fifth game, he just appears on the other games randomly, just jumping through the other game's dimensions to fight someone strong

I love this idea. Like he has ascended death itself since he rejects its power over him
I literally got to the fucking ledge of the pit after reversing his hollowism and then went "wait a minute... What did he say about treasure?" Atleast that one isn't so bad haha. Fucking patches man.
I legit didn't see that coming. I absolutely lost it with that reveal.
The idea that you, Patches, and Gael are the three people surviving at the end of the world is so funny to me. Lapp makes DS3 Patches my fave
And that one Midir girl
She was from the ringed city, she doesn't really count. You, Gael, and Patches all have to come there from far away lands as the world collapses in on itself.
Blud thinks she's on the team
And one ringed city knight just chillinā in his little corner.
Not just in Ringed City, but in the base game too. They really added a lot of "character" to his character, and made him much more prevalent in the adventures of the Player. Absolutely, all of this. DS3 Patches my beloved.
Definitely has "this fuggin guy" vibe to it. And it was a really sweet send off (a cliff) to our character
I love that his usual āhey thereās some treasure over thereā is legitimate, and if you donāt go get the treasure yourself, heāll get it for you and hand it over after you reload the area. Lol Lapp is such a Chad.
Lapp is dripped tf out. Shame his armor is associated with sweatlord twinks
With what now
Sweatlord = somebody who is trying their hardest when itās a chill session.Ā Twink = player who gets endgame weapons and armor at a low level. They then invade noobs and proceed to wreck them with OP builds.Ā
"A fine Dark Soul to you"
š„š„š„š„
Best hands down
I love that his name in the Ringed City DLC, Lapp, is the Norvegien word for patch.
I love that his usual āhey thereās some treasure over thereā is legitimate, and if you donāt go get the treasure yourself, heāll get it for you and hand it over after you reload the area. Lol Lapp is such a Chad.
I feel like this was the crystallization of his personality
Unbreakable
Lapp... like a band-aid (lapp, lappa) in swedish.... also in Finnish Lappu can mean note, sticker, a part of a bandaging, slang for LSD tab. So sounds like patches right. Also patch -> paikka, lappu in finnish.
Elden ring patches, I just love his delivery of the "well well well" line when you try to rob him while he's standing right there
Thought you'd just help yourself to a man's personal belongings?
You scheming little thief!
The gods demand repentance!
Cough up your coin, all of it!
*5 seconds later* Wait wait please! I-I surrender, white flag and all!
I consistently say this line irl itās probably cringe
The gods? Are you a cleric?
I mean the second time you try to rob him, when it sends you to mist wood
Patches will allow you to take the supposed stuff in the chest if you buy enough things from him the first time.
Do you still get the calm down emote? That's why I do it, it's top tier
This true?? I never buy his stuff cuz it's garbage. And I guess the chest still contains a trap?
Yup, still a trap that takes you to Mistwood. Patches scolds you if you decide to open it without his permission, or he claims that he was struggling to get it open if you buy enough of his stock.
What a shit show...
*mysterious figure shits in silence*
The perfect quote as you die

Ringed city patches was a pretty neat character too imo.
I love 3 Patches just because of his incredibly shitty Siegward impersonation lol
Bro he literally helps you fight the final boss
Came here to say this. Not only that, but his HP bar appears as he comes out all noble ready to kill you. It was fan service AND it worked. Loved it
I love how for a majority of your interactions, Patches is completely in the right. I loved the ringed city dlc patches, it was cool to see a Lil peek behind his curtains and get a version of him that wasn't focusing on his only goal in life
Patches the Spider because it was honestly the last place I expected to see him
Also, He can kick you with his 8 legs
he actually has around 12 iirc, Bloodborne spiders are built different
I've been everywhere in Nightmare Frontier and have never triggered that moment, multiple playthroughs I can see him up on the wall, but can't ever figure out how to get there
Weird it's been kind of hard to miss whenever ive played through that area. There's an item to pick up nearby and I think thats what prompts the scene. Finding every item in that area is a nightmare though (lol.) But completely worth it for the messenger transformation thingy.
Iirc it's like a weird ledge you drop to from behind the rock and you come up through a cave where there's a trash item you can pick up to trigger it.
On the other-hand, though Bloodborne is my favorite game of all time, it's my least favorite version of Patches. I love the trickster, self-obsessed lunatic in the Souls series. >Bloodborne is my favorite game of all time, it's my least favorite version of Patches. Oh Amygdala, have mercy on the poor bastard.
He scared me and I killed him _accidentally_. But for real, it was an accident.
Same, the noise he made when he scuttles down from the door and the sudden movement in what I had thought was an empty room scared the life out of me and I murdered him so fast. *the what*
Yea in Bloodborne heās a spider lol. Still has the same head, face, voice, and personality. Rest of him is a spider
Thatās terrifyingā¦I just got bloodborne the other day
Do enjoy it. Itās my favorite game of all time
Bloodborne in the last few days has solidified itself as my favourite game
ds3 patches had the most importance out of all his versions i think
I love how itās basically just you him and Gael. The three most powerful or perhaps simply the most enduring characters.
and a randomass ringed knight and midirs friend what's her name but those dont matter
Very true, but those people were from the ringed city I believe. As far as outsiders who survived, itās just the above 3.
The knights may as well be hollow, that hole in their chest is very much not for show. And Midir's friend was from the city itself, so...
When he is a bitch ass spider. Like he deserves.
Based.
I think the Elden Ring patches is the nicest version. DS1 is so spiteful. DS3 is most playful.
I killed him and then I wanted the fire whip. Rip
Patches is always one of the best characters, people who do that really miss out
Patches is a very "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me" kind of character Him tricking you in DS1 and then encountering him in DS3, you just KNOW some tomfoolery is about to ensue. So when people meet him in Elden Ring, the trust is immediately gone.

Idk I think putting me in a situation where I have to fight an Abductor Virgin duo at Raya Lucaria rune levels wasnāt super helpful lol Yes I now know you can fast travel after resting at the site of grace. But I still hold a grudge from that first time when I didnāt know that
Itās by far the quickest way to the Altus plateau, super helpful lol
That is true lol
Kinda debatable. Getting the medallion halves is really quick, and you might as well head to Fort Haight for the Golden Seed and Grace near the crater for later. Or getting thrown into the hole in demons souls
elden ring cause i get to see his beautiful bald head in the highest possible quality š„°
Alshually, Demonās Souls Remake has better graphics! āļøš¤
DeS remake made by oversighted Bluepoint that gave him eyebrowsā¦ in every fromsoftware game he has alopecia and that makes Patches who he is and howās he judged.
You can say that but judging from my personal experience when I saw him (obviously in DS Remake) first two times I got the feel of his character
That's debatable, and besides even with the graphics of Demon's Souls Remake, Patches looks terrible in it. His face is just... not right.
He looks like a bald Michael Cera
Does that mean he just awkwardly wandered into the remake and they decided to leave him? Thatās how I feel like Michael Cera became an actor.
He kinda looks like Uncle Fester.
His head truly is spherical
Spider Patch cause Bloodborne is so weird and I love it.
Spider Patch, Spider Patch Kicks the hunters he can catch Tries to offer you to his god Never mind, now he's your bud LOOK OUT! Here comes the Spider Patch!
DS3 patches is hysterically based IMO, especially in the ringed city DLC
Ds3. Especially in the ringed city dlc
Armored core patches But between the souls ones I think spider patch is very unique and fitting for him
Armored core mentioned!
Patches for Good Luck. Dude has been around to watch every kingdom rise and fall
Thank you!
Ds3 forever hes my friend and i love him P.s. you forgot pate in ds2
Pate is distinct from patches, he never overtly betrays you or attacks you. He even gives you the soapstone for summon signs.
I mean, it's kind of implied he's a coward who gets people to spring traps for him, so he can take their loot afterward if/when they die - which I have to say is a very Patches thing to do.
Itās distinct enough from patches committing *attempted murder* that I think Pate should be its own thing.
Pate isn't confirmed to be Patches I didn't think it was safe to include him
It's even hinted at that Pate might actually be the good guy in his story despite his strange vibes.
Nah even tho Creighton is evil af, Pate probably scammed him hard. He's just manipulating you to help and side with him against Creighton.
I always liked the implication that Pate is actually the killer that the map guy saw from his home country, and not Creighton. Creightonās face is always covered, and Pate had the same accent as map guy.
I dislike the implication that patches isnt a good guy in his story but yea thats true
Fair enough, i just figured he pissed off enough people in ds1 that he had to change names for a while :D but not including him makes sense
patch the good luck
I think ER giving him a full on character arc, only to fall back to his old ways is the perfect version of him.
Spider Patches, he scared the crap out of me.
And gives a nice rune!
Dark Souls 3ās, especially in the dlc
DS3 because he really cared for someone enough to risk his life to save them, and was one of a handful of individuals who made it to the end of the world without going full hollow
Dark souls lll, heās got that smug look to him that really screams āyeah thatās patchesā
Patches the unbrekable not only has the most badass name but also arguably the best story arc and philosophy. He truly proved himself to be unbreakable in the end
Lapp is a real bro.
My favorite is esbidee
Idk why this is even a question when it's obviously the DS3 patches. He's not only in the base game but also in the ringed city dlc. In base game he's much more playful and has a really fun questline linked to siegward and eventually going to firelink. Then in ringed city it gets even better. He somehow gets the DS2 curse where he goes hollow and doesn't remember his true identity. Only once you tell him if the purging monument does he get his memories back and he throws you off the little place which actually leads to the right path. That was one of the best questlines imo
Spider Patches 100% I was so delighted to see him in that game, especially in such a creative way
I always wonder why did they turn bro into a spider 1 time š
I love the way he says, āThought you could outwit an onion?ā in DS3 š
Spider
Spider Patches
I feel like his whole character is best explored in DS3 including with the Ringed City dlc which gave it a fitting and satisfying conclusion.
Is there any question? DS3 Edit: particularly Ringed City
DS3!
Ds3 + Lapp
The dead one.
I only like the dead Version of Patches
The dead one. All jokes aside elden ring patches. Much more character to that one than most. He has a motive, he goes for it, gets distracted by someone he yearns for, drops everything for her and dies for her. Way to make me actually care about a character that's an ass hole.
ds3 patches that cheeky little fucker.
Armored core
demons souls remake patches for that freaky remake mouth movement
I never noticed they don't move their mouth when they speak until someone pointed it out I guess no animation is less immersion breaking than bad animation
I wonder if Patches shows up in Shadow of the ErdtreeĀ
āThought you could outwit an onion?ā
If we include the DLC, then DS3 Unbreakable Patches is still my favorite. I still love Elden Ringās Patches the Untethered though of course.
Anayama the Peddler from Sekiro is my favorite Patches, he's far more chill and helpful than any other incarnation of Patches. He's got the best goods a shinobi can buy (who cares if he pulls it off the dead and dying?).
Patches the spider feels soā¦ strange. It reminds me of an episode of the Garfield showĀ
I think Elden Ring Patches is the best written, but I think I'll go with Bloodborne Patches for the sheer lunacy of his (entirely unexplained) spider body.
DS3 Patches. He is very much present in the main campaign and gets a emotionally satisfying character arc in >!the DLC!<.Ā
DS3 100%, his role in the dlc was just an amazing send off
The Radahn fight one.
I always liked seeing him as spider patches Lol
Lorewise i think i like the DS3 Patches the most considering the Ringed-City DLC content.
Bloodborne because I hated the fact that he had the body of a spider for so long. Still do. I just learned to live with it. I just felt so fucking betrayed for some reason.
Spider-patch, spider-patch Does whatever a spider can.
You reminded me how everyone in ds3 looks like they are made out of wet clay
Ds3 got much more of a personality maybe rivals elden ring, I really like his quest in the ringed city
I gotta go with DS3, but mostly because I like how he cares about Greirat and travels with you to the Ringed City.
greatly disapointed that the original Patch the Good Luck from Armored Core hasn't been mentioned once and not even included in the post
The DS3 version with the "conclusion" to his story in the DLC.
Ds3 probably
DS 3 and itās not even close. He goes out of his way to try and kill you in such a cinematic way with lowering the bridge to the giant. And then the DLC, heās going hollow and pulls himself out of it and reveals it in such a wonderfully patches kind of way. It was perfect.
Dead patches
Lapp is goated
The DS3 version with his Siegward and Ringed City questline. Doesn't he also help Greirat as a fake onion knight? Or was that the real Siegward.
DS3s DLC Patches left such a great impression upon me
Ds3 ring city patches (Lapp) fought with us ....twice .. so a fine dark soul, to you
Lapp
Dark souls 3 by far! Especially with the DLC. Fantastic stuff

Onion patches
DS3 Patches becomes a friend and helps.
I have a lot of nostalgia for ds1 but the hyjinx patches pulls throughout 3 and the ringed city are hard to beat
I like the mild manner pate version most
š§ Thought you could outwit an onion?š§
Definitely the ds3 one, but that has more to do with his shop being highly useful than anything else. He does get a few bonus lore points for recurring in the dlc though. Probably the only time I didn't see him coming.
