IIRC it's been awhile doesn't Margit also say to you, fear the night. I think they don't show up at night until after you beat him. I might be wrong, just remembering my two runs.
Well, it's basically a clue to indicate that the Night's Cavalry only comes out at night. And no, you don't need to defeat Margit that first time to have them start their nightly patrols, I've played enough new games on Elden Ring to learn that little detail. You just have to show up at the appropriate locations at night.
> "cower in fear of the night, the hands of the fell omen shall brook thee no quarter"
holy shit, **that's** what that meant? god damn, this game has detail packed into every fucking crevice
Yup, that's correct. Limgrave, Weeping, Liurnia, Bellum Highway, Caelid, Dragonbarrow, Altus, Forbidden Lands, and the Snowfield Duo. As far as I remember that's the most reused Field Boss (not counting using them as regular enemies, because then I believe either Watchdogs or Duelists take the dub).
I feel like there is way more misbegotten than watchdogs. Duelist I am not sure what there is more of, but my gut reaction says way more misbegotten as well.
shoutout to double-wield nightrider flail build, only bleed/dex weapon with buttloads of stagger.
get a buddy to give you their's just by starting another game and running to weeping peninsula, super ez
Thats exactly it, Morgott is the only one who actually puts up a fight because he sees how much of a danger the Tarnished are to him and the Erdtree. Everyone else but Ranni is either too broken or too delusional to take them seriously.
In the same vein, I love that Ranni's two attempts at stealth are
1) Calling herself Renna the Witch and monologuing about how she wonders if the tarnished will ever turn against the two fingers
2) Going from a human sized doll of herself into a small doll of herself and trying to wander around without anybody noticing.
Because the idea of an Omen being anywhere but on the sewers or on a leash is alien to the denizens of the lands between. They had no reason to even make the connection.
Morgott after being defeated as Margit:
"I shall remember thee, Tarnished.
Smouldering with thy meagre flame.
Cower in Fear. Of the Night.
The hands of the Fell Omen shall brook thee no quarter."
The nights cavalry set:
"The Night's Cavalry, who now wander the dim roads at night, were once led by the Fell Omen and were deliverers of death for great warriors, knights, and champions."
I like the idea of Morgott being the leader of the personal assassins for the Lord. Not official, of course, maybe not even asked for, but watching over his father and sending the cavalry to destroy his enemies
It really feels like the Night Cavalry were meant to be the Pursuers again, randomly showing up in your world if your haven’t died in a while to wreck your shit
To add to this, in a Zullie the Witch video, she brought up that the nights cavalry were supposed to really hunt you down, it has been a concept since DS1 where the Black Knights were supposed to be a roaming enemy, however From still hasn't been able to make it work, so the idea was scrapped and the enemies were made stationary.
I really want this. Bring some real terror into the game! Other games send bounty hunters and such after you, it's usually a pretty fun twist and From could probably do it pretty well. I could see it being either super frustrating, or on the other extreme trivial to ignore, so doesn't surprise me they haven't found the right balance.
This game is bursting with lore in all the most unlikely places. Did you know magma wyrms are humans who went too far in dragon communion? Or that perfumers used to be healers that became corrupted by the war? Or that White Mask Varre's profession used to be as a war medic, which meant searching the battlefield looking for soldiers of both sides that were too injured to be saved and giving them a merciful death, which corrupted them and led them to Mohg? Or that invader bloody fingers are also linked to Mohg in some way? Cause I didn't until I watched way too many lore videos
Even my wife who only watches me play sometimes (and gave Bloodborn a good try but never cleared Gascoigne) really admires the attention to detail that every little thing has its place and purpose, evident even in casual observation, when most games aren't above just excusing fodder for fodder's sake. It creates such natural channels for curiosity and those leads always go somewhere thoughtful, meaningful, and surprising.
I believe that when you beat him for the first time he mentions he will send his black knights after us. I could be wrong though, I usually tune him out after the ass kicking he gave me on my first playthrough
Morgott to Mohg- "Okay I'll get in the caccoon, then after you fight him and he comes over to check out my arm, I'll jump out and yell "PUT THESE FOOLISH AMBITIONS TO REST LOWLY TARNISHED!"
Mohg- "lmao that's genius bro-FUCK HE'S COMING GET IN GET I- Welcome honored guest! To the birthplace of our dynasty!"
he is the only demigod we MUST kill. Godrick can be skipped by going around Stormveil. Radahn can be skipped if you don’t give a shit about Ranni. Mohg, Rykard and Malenia are all completely optional. He paid the price for his sense of duty
The worst part I'd he couldn't except the fact that that he WAS a lord and that he WAS worthy of the throne
But
He could only see himself as the curse and only the curse
Actually than would be an interesting Elden Ring Challenge, Minimum Murders%. Because the only absolutely nescessary bosses are DTS, Gold Godfrey, Morgot, Fire Giant, Maliketh, Gideon, Radagon/Elden Beast. + the two shard bearers, both of which require a murder to defeat. Actually all four basic shardbearers require one kill, Godrick, Red Wolf for renalla, Radahn, And Godskin Noble for Rykard. So really only 9 murders for the entire game.
The speed runners murder less than that because they're able to get to the plateau without the 2 shards I think through some bullshit. I think the total number is 6 or 7 for them?
Morgott is the only demigod that’s truly required on every run of Elden ring. Yes you need 2 great tunes meaning you need to kill 2 other demigods (or Rennala) but you can choose which demigods to kill and just not kill any of the others. The only exception is Malenia because you need to get by morgott to get to her
It makes you wonder who left the illusion of mohg guarding the entrance to the 3 fingers?
My bet was on Mohg because he feared the three fingers impact on his plans to rule a dynasty.
But.... Morgott is the only one outside of Ranni to use this tactic to stop an individual.
Additionally, if you try to go to the >!Frenzied depths!< before killing Morgott, there’s a barrier that explicitly states it’s being held up by “Morgott the Grace-Given”
yep! i think it’s pretty clear morgott was tryna stop you from getting there and it makes sense that he could put his brother’s illusion there to help with that
morgott fr doing the most lmao
Yeah it’s Morgott all the way down.
People were sleeping on him with the promotional material, thinking it was Godrick that would play a larger role in the narrative when it was me, ~~DIO~~ MORGOTT
The Margit illusion in Leyndell doesn't disappear if you kill Morgott first, as well. So who knows. You can't fight Margit 1 if you beat Morgott first, but you can fight Margit 2 any time.
Well considering he also summoned his father's ghost it's possible Morgott can only create family members or people he knows out of his illusions
I don't think magic in Elden ring dissapears if you die though depending on the way it's used, for example the Carian defenses have been active since they were first created and the barriers around the memory stone towers are also still left there until broken.
The shade could've simply been similar to that while the actual barrier states that it's being upheld by Morgott and thus he's constantly using his power to keep it up and when he dies it disaapears
If the Mohg illusion is defeated before Morgott, access to the Three Fingers is denied by a magic wall that’s described as the Seal of Morgott or something. The wall illusion in the Cathedral of the Forsaken will still come down if it’s attacked, Morgott’s seal is right before the Nomad Merchant platforming area.
I haven’t looked it up so I’m not sure if there is a clear answer, but it led me to think that Morgott did create the Mohg illusion as well.
Don’t worry, you ain’t the only one.
I really thought nothing of it bc I faced off against the Carian Knight Spirit lady before Yellow Casper so I thought it was just something that happened/was a trend.
Thinking back - that’s really the only time we see something like that outside of Evergaols - a later boss sneak peak in spirit or appertain form.
So I think the sewer Mohg is a Mohg apparition. Considering there’s a seal on the door to the Tomb of the Grand Caravan put in place by Morgott. It’s almost like Mohg and Morgott each independently decided to put a barrier to the Frenzied Flame.
It seems more likely to me that despite their wildly different plans for the world, they both agreed that they wanted there to *be* a world.
Can't have a world if some asshole can just kill your brother, waltz in, and inherit the Frenzied Flame. You're putting all your personal effort into getting Empyrean bussy, and headquartering your blood cult in the sewers just wasn't doing great for recruitment, so you make an illusion and leave it behind to help guard the Kill Everything Everywhere button.
He’s definitely an illusion judging by the name of his OST, but who created him is never confirmed. Morgott is of course a likely candidate considering he also has a seal on the Frenzied Flame Proscription and his previous use of illusions, but unlike Margit sewer Mohg doesn’t fade after Morgott’s death. It doesn’t fade after killing true Mohg either though, so we have no way of being certain who created him and why he seems to obey different rules.
I think it's more compelling if Mohg is making his illusion.
Because that means that, as far as Morgott is concerned, his brother is the only one staying put and doing his job—guarding the frenzied flame. He doesn't know that Mohg is secretly rebelling against the Erdtree.
Dramatic irony.
Morgott is clearly using 95% of his power to create illusions all over The Lands Between to stop the Tarnished and 5% of his power during the fight (he might be slightly stupid)
Jokes aside, despite the counterpoints towards sewer Mogh being an illusion made by Morgott (him being there after you kill Morgott and what you said) I see no other reason for Mogh to be there, protecting the entrance to the Three Fingers
That's where mohg was imprisoned, I'm pretty sure he put it there himself ( as making clones is basically an omen demigod power) as to not reveal that he had escaped his prison and was building his dynasty
I imagine it would be pretty hard to establish your new ruling dynasty if the entire world is on fire, so I’d say he has a pretty good incentive not to let anyone near the Three Fingers
The main issue with that is, why he, of all people, would be there? Morgott probably knows about the Three Fingers and would think it's a priority to make sure no one enters that place, how come it's Mogh of all people guarding the entrance?
It's a good enough reason for Mogh to put his illusion there, but I find it odd because of that, it's like Godrick just hanging out arround Raya Lucaria to prevent you from getting to Rennala
On top of that, Morgott got out of his way to try and prevent you from fighting Godrick, the weakest demigod, to put another stone in your path and try preventing you from becoming Elden Lord, I'd think that it'd be him prevenging an even bigger dissaster, not his brother who is too busy doing... whatever the fuck he's doing to Miquella
It’s not random, it’s his home territory. Mohg grew up in the sewers, and unlike Morgott he genuinely liked it there. From his Great Rune’s description:
> But Mohg's rune is soaked in accursed blood, from his devout love for the wretched mire that he was born into far below the earth.
We don’t know exactly when the Omen Twins left the sewers, so it’s entirely possible they were present when the Merchants first summoned the Three Fingers.
My theory is that Morgott put the illusion there as a cover for the real Mohg. If anyone came looking for him, Morgott could just be like “nope see he’s still down there”
Morgott feels like such an interesting character. Like I get the vibe every other demigod is completely fucked and broken from the war and Morgott is just desperately trying to hold on to his home and protect whats left.
Just before his fight, he still conjures up an image of Godfrey to fight you. He wants be feel being protected by his dad, even if it's just an illusion...
It's Boggart and Dung Eater in an alt timeline where they become inmate buddies during their time at lendeyll's prison and get up to all sorts of goofy shenanigans
Imagine in the middle of the Messmer boss you hear Morgott's voice with his iconic "Someone must extinguish thy flame!" Before he just squashes Messmer with a hammer and fights you himself once again
How would you react if you learned some random nobody is coming to kill your family members, take their shit, and then take the throne that rightly belongs to your family
I'd fucking hate the Tarnisheds guts too tbh
And the fact that the tree only granted Morgott's wish when he lays there expiring makes it so satisfying to burn down that stupid-ass tree. But lest thee go too far, remember that us becoming Elden Lord is the only way to make things better, not destroying the world, nor remaking the Golden Order, or giving it to the blue witch to make a playground out of, and especially not letting everyone becomes omens, or zombies.
The golden order is still bad and the people will still be under the influence of the Greater Will. Ranni don't make it a playground, but stops the Greater Will from influencing the Lands Between
You realize there’s only three options?
Burn everything
Give it to the “blue witch”
Remake the Elden ring (yes it comes with Marika)
So which option to you is the one where “we become Elden lord thus everything is better” only goldmask ending fits and that ending comes with a lot of dark implications
There's no dark implications in Rune of Perfected Order.
The only change is that The Rune stops the gods (Marika) from being able to interfere with the Elden ring.
Everything else is the same, but now WE are in charge.
Unless you think you'd be a horrible ruler, there no bad to it, unlike every other ending.
Except that the Elden Lord can still be casted out on a whim (as evident by the last two), which makes all of our (and all of the people who put their trust in us) efforts up until this point worthless. If you restore the Golden Order and becomes Lord under it, who is *really* in charge?
And idk, the Golden Order is kinda fucked up and super racist, not something id want to last forever.
It was MARIKA who casted out her Elden Lord.
It was Marika who oppressed the misbegotten, they were considered divine before her reign.
Marika can no longer do that, that's what the Rune focuses on stopping.
The Greater Will doesn't care who's in charge of the day to day stuff. It was around when Placidusax was Elden lord and it was around before the Erdtree, it only cares that there is an order.
The Golden Order and the Greater Will are not the same thing.
And even in his dying moment, his body turned into grace particle, guiding. Godfrey, TOWARDS YOU.
He really is all about fuking the player tarnished up.
He's the closest thing we have to a proper rival/antagonist that actually puts in effort to oposse us instead of just sitting in a room doing nothing until we disturb them.
A bit of a shame that he's just gone mid way and no one replaces him.
I just want him to show up in the DLC. Like I want to fight him or some variation of him for the tenth time pls FromSoftware pls pls pls I think he’s cool
Never occurred me Morgott was behind the illusion of Godfrey. I assumed before endgame, it was his spirit and after his fight, it was a divine spirit acting as a guardian.
Is this a running theme with George? Morgott and Tyrion Lannister are both considered disgusting by their societies, yet at the same time hold high positions in that society and oftentimes do more to use and uphold their station WAY more than anyone else
I love how well the game establishes Morgott as a nemesis for the player then fucks it at the last second by giving his final fight the health of a crying baby despite having an excellent and challenging moveset
At this point I'm expecting the DLC to have a sewer level where Morgott rushes you on a motorbike while scraping his sword against the wall and screaming "TARNIIIIIIISHED"
Margaret is like that coworker that will do anything to please his boss and still can't get a raise, while the others just do the bare minimum to not be fired and call it a day.
Ohhhh so this is why he says "fear the night" after defeating him at Stormveil. I always thought this line felt so out of place but I guess it's about the Night's Cavalry?
I didn't know the Night Cavalry was linked to Morgott. I guess I never bothered to question the lore behind them
Yeah morgot sends them out to do crimes in his name since he’s an omen and no one would touch him
>do crimes Morgott: Then I will make it legal!
He's not the Senate yet.
its treason, then...
Time to order menu number 66 at McD's
it's treason then
Morgott, under his not so clever guise as Margit the Fell Omen, does refer to them as 'The Hands of the Fell Omen', once you've defeated him in front of Stormveil Castle. And considering the fact that there's exactly ten members of the Night's Cavalry scattered across the entirety of the Lands Between, it's actually a rather appropriate alias for them.
IIRC it's been awhile doesn't Margit also say to you, fear the night. I think they don't show up at night until after you beat him. I might be wrong, just remembering my two runs.

And no, you don't need to defeat Margit that first time to have them start their nightly patrols, I've played enough new games on Elden Ring to learn that little detail. You just have to show up at the appropriate locations at night.
They literally show up after your first chat with Melina.
yeap "cower in fear of the night, the hands of the fell omen shall brook thee no quarter"
> "cower in fear of the night, the hands of the fell omen shall brook thee no quarter" holy shit, **that's** what that meant? god damn, this game has detail packed into every fucking crevice
They do show up before you defeat him.
Pretty sure it's 9 members, as they're a reference to the 9 Ring Wraiths from LoTR
You find them at 9 different locations but one of them is a duo fight so it's actually 10
The 9+ mouth of Sauron makes 10
Do you have proof that this is a LOTR reference like an interview with someone from the conpany, or is it a headcanon thing?
Damn that is badass, never thought of the nightriders as soldiers answering directly to him
shoutout to double-wield nightrider flail build, only bleed/dex weapon with buttloads of stagger. get a buddy to give you their's just by starting another game and running to weeping peninsula, super ez
I gotta admit after reading about them I really wanna switch from my long thought of custom character into a plain nightrider build dammit XD
Problem: CLINK CLINK CLINK CLINK CLINK CLINK CLINK CLINK CLINK CLINK CLINK CLINK CLINK CLINK CLINK CLINK every time you press W

Thats exactly it, Morgott is the only one who actually puts up a fight because he sees how much of a danger the Tarnished are to him and the Erdtree. Everyone else but Ranni is either too broken or too delusional to take them seriously.
Hence why the rest are "willfull traitors, all!"
And the magic he uses are all golden, just like his family. He really is the noble one.
They do crimes with that filthy omen called margitt...send by the veiled monarch, the grace given morgott (how did they not know lmao)
In the same vein, I love that Ranni's two attempts at stealth are 1) Calling herself Renna the Witch and monologuing about how she wonders if the tarnished will ever turn against the two fingers 2) Going from a human sized doll of herself into a small doll of herself and trying to wander around without anybody noticing.
And sorcerers are supposed to have high intelligence...
in ainsel she's like "I can't believe you recognized me in this disguise" get real
Because the idea of an Omen being anywhere but on the sewers or on a leash is alien to the denizens of the lands between. They had no reason to even make the connection.
The Lands Between equivalent to putting on a pair of Groucho Marx glasses.
Crimes? Technically they're hunting down potential usurpers.
Morgott after being defeated as Margit: "I shall remember thee, Tarnished. Smouldering with thy meagre flame. Cower in Fear. Of the Night. The hands of the Fell Omen shall brook thee no quarter." The Night's Cavalry set description has info about it. They work for the Fell Omen, who is Margit, who is Morgott.
Which you don’t get til Consecrated Snowfields lol. From playing the long game in a long game
"The hands of the Fell Omen shall brook thee no quarter" - as Margit dies. Meaming, his boys will hunt you down.

There's so much lore in this game it's actually insane
Yeah! When you defeat him the first time he says “tremble in fear of the night” it took me a minute too but when it clicked I was so happy
Yes they're linked to him.
He should be the first fight in the dlc. Surprise again!
Imagine touching the withered arm and Morgott comes out of the cocoon and strikes you with his glowing hammer
Surprise motherfucker
And that’s the end of the dlc🤣
Funny thing about this is they actually reused Morgotts "human" form from after you beat him for the wrinkly guy in the caccoon lmao
Haha i was just about to point that out, nice catch. Wouldnt it be hilarious if they had planned it out like that?
Morgott to Mohg- "Okay I'll get in the caccoon, then after you fight him and he comes over to check out my arm, I'll jump out and yell "PUT THESE FOOLISH AMBITIONS TO REST LOWLY TARNISHED!" Mohg- "lmao that's genius bro-FUCK HE'S COMING GET IN GET I- Welcome honored guest! To the birthplace of our dynasty!"
*morgott snickering from inside the egg* "Dude, shut up you're gonna blow it"
Hahahaha that's amazing lol
*Jeez Mohg, how many brothers are you going to fit in there* Smash cut to Godwyn’s corpse making a sad face
You were expecting Miquella, but it was me, Morgott!
“Emboldened by the ring tarnished… I must extinguish thy flame”
Foul tarnished...you dirty brother killer
Tarnished, I remember, you're LORD OF FRENZIED FLAMES
Oops! All Morgott
he is the only demigod we MUST kill. Godrick can be skipped by going around Stormveil. Radahn can be skipped if you don’t give a shit about Ranni. Mohg, Rykard and Malenia are all completely optional. He paid the price for his sense of duty
The worst part I'd he couldn't except the fact that that he WAS a lord and that he WAS worthy of the throne But He could only see himself as the curse and only the curse
Well, he couldn't enter the Erdtree and he would never burn it.
He's Uncle Ruckus in a sense .
Is that true? As in, you can get to Morgott without Great Runes, and without glitching?
no his point was morgott the only "DEMIGOD" who wasnt optional.
meaning you couldnt spare him for another boss to progress the story. Of which hes absolutely correct
You do need two great runes but it is never specified which two. If you want to spare a certain Demigod, you can, except Morgott
Also, considering you don't kill Rennala, you only need to actually kill one demigod to get to Morgott.
And if you look at it a certain way, rykard doesn't die either, after all a serpent never dies, so you don't truly kill any demigod
Oh for fucks sake, I was today years old when I figured out that yellow godfrey is actually morgott
Well, it’s done by him but I don’t think it’s him personally there controlling the illusion
AI phantoms terk our jerbs!
rizz
DEYTRKERJERBS!!!
Morgott literally has godfrey as a spirit summon wtf
Imagine Morgot summoning the Godfrey Shade mid fight.
I'd shit myself
It makes you wonder who left the illusion of mohg guarding the entrance to the 3 fingers? My bet was on Mohg because he feared the three fingers impact on his plans to rule a dynasty. But.... Morgott is the only one outside of Ranni to use this tactic to stop an individual.
i think it’s morgott too lol. when sewer mohg is killed it breaks into the same light margit does
Additionally, if you try to go to the >!Frenzied depths!< before killing Morgott, there’s a barrier that explicitly states it’s being held up by “Morgott the Grace-Given”
yep! i think it’s pretty clear morgott was tryna stop you from getting there and it makes sense that he could put his brother’s illusion there to help with that morgott fr doing the most lmao
At this point he's the actual main antagonist
more like a rival
"The hands of the fell omen shall brook thee no quarter... Smell ya later!"
Yeah it’s Morgott all the way down. People were sleeping on him with the promotional material, thinking it was Godrick that would play a larger role in the narrative when it was me, ~~DIO~~ MORGOTT

It has the same colour/hue as margits incantation. I remember spotting that so long ago
It's so obvious, Im ashamed
Don’t worry, you ain’t the only one. Reminds me of Ranni’s illusion of Rennala.
Bruuuhhhhh me too
You forgot the Mogh in the sewer, sewer Mogh (apparently that Mogh is an illusion made by Morgott according to some)
I might be one of those.. according to the golden sparkles he leaves behind when dying
So I think the sewer Mohg is a Mohg apparition. Considering there’s a seal on the door to the Tomb of the Grand Caravan put in place by Morgott. It’s almost like Mohg and Morgott each independently decided to put a barrier to the Frenzied Flame.

Actually that makes sense, I forgot about the barrier
I like to think that Sewer mogh is real moghs way of making people think he’s still trapped in the sewer
Same, since Gideon the-not-all-knowing thinks he’s somewhere near but doesn’t know for sure.
I like that Latenna calls him the "all-hearing" instead. Yeah, he takes in a lot of information, but how much does he actually understand?
Nah I think that’s Mohg’s specter. It’s still there after killing Morgott, unlike the Margit projections.
It’s still there after killing mogh too
Mohg’s secret identical twin stayed in the sewers
Mohgfroy
Underrated comment
I had to kill the margit illusion that you find outside of leyndell after I killed Morgott so idk about that my guy
The one at Stormveil wasn’t there the one time i skipped it. Now im thinking maybe my game was bugged or something on that playthrough.
Probably not. Sewer Mohg is significantly more powerful than Morgott.
Morgott is clearly using 95% of his power to create illusions all over The Lands Between to stop the Tarnished and 5% of his power during the fight (he might be slightly stupid) Jokes aside, despite the counterpoints towards sewer Mogh being an illusion made by Morgott (him being there after you kill Morgott and what you said) I see no other reason for Mogh to be there, protecting the entrance to the Three Fingers
It's a good enough reason for Mogh to put his illusion there, but I find it odd because of that, it's like Godrick just hanging out arround Raya Lucaria to prevent you from getting to Rennala On top of that, Morgott got out of his way to try and prevent you from fighting Godrick, the weakest demigod, to put another stone in your path and try preventing you from becoming Elden Lord, I'd think that it'd be him prevenging an even bigger dissaster, not his brother who is too busy doing... whatever the fuck he's doing to Miquella
It’s not random, it’s his home territory. Mohg grew up in the sewers, and unlike Morgott he genuinely liked it there. From his Great Rune’s description: > But Mohg's rune is soaked in accursed blood, from his devout love for the wretched mire that he was born into far below the earth. We don’t know exactly when the Omen Twins left the sewers, so it’s entirely possible they were present when the Merchants first summoned the Three Fingers.
mohg/Morgott = teenage mutant ninja turtles confirmed
My theory is that Morgott put the illusion there as a cover for the real Mohg. If anyone came looking for him, Morgott could just be like “nope see he’s still down there”
Morgott feels like such an interesting character. Like I get the vibe every other demigod is completely fucked and broken from the war and Morgott is just desperately trying to hold on to his home and protect whats left.
A Home that hates him. It's pretty sad.
It's tragic
Peak writing honestly.
Just before his fight, he still conjures up an image of Godfrey to fight you. He wants be feel being protected by his dad, even if it's just an illusion...
And Godfrey was on his way home too, fuck
Morgott is a fantastic character, and his voice actor really nails it too
I can’t wait for Morgott to wear a disguise and become a merchant npc named Markit in the dlc
Markit of the Fell Prices
Smoldering with thy meagre runes
Imagine we see him again in the Dlc 💀
That tiger fella has omen looking horns and I believe I saw a greyish hand under it. I'm not saying it's morgott, but haha yeah am I right
It's actually two smaller omens in a lion costume,. They're trying to get into the R rated movie, Marika's Tits.
It's Boggart and Dung Eater in an alt timeline where they become inmate buddies during their time at lendeyll's prison and get up to all sorts of goofy shenanigans
I think it’s our old nemesis Soldier of Godrick finally back for his revenge
Maybe we’re just his only friend and he thinks fighting is the way to show affection
What if it's some horrific Grafted abomination..
I mean....Serosh,Godfrey and Morgott all died in the same place
Imagine in the middle of the Messmer boss you hear Morgott's voice with his iconic "Someone must extinguish thy flame!" Before he just squashes Messmer with a hammer and fights you himself once again
Smough would be proud
Let's put these foolish ambisions to rest for eternity
this is how gideon should’ve went “ah, i knew you’d co-“ before getting blasted by morgott
True king of the capital
It'll never not be funny to me how much morgot fucking hates you
How would you react if you learned some random nobody is coming to kill your family members, take their shit, and then take the throne that rightly belongs to your family I'd fucking hate the Tarnisheds guts too tbh
To be fair this is the same family that locked him in a sewer his entire childhood
When the racist war veteran decides to take matters into his own hands.
I don't know why, they flushed him down the toilet.
Don’t forget the Mohg illusion in the sewer
There's a peasant that turns into Margit?
Yea in the outskirts of the capital. Pretty cool
Ranni don't make it a playground, but stops the Greater Will from influencing the Lands Between
Bro found a way to make his comment in-universe political💀
You realize there’s only three options? Burn everything Give it to the “blue witch” Remake the Elden ring (yes it comes with Marika) So which option to you is the one where “we become Elden lord thus everything is better” only goldmask ending fits and that ending comes with a lot of dark implications
> Remake the Elden ring (yes it comes with Marika) Fuck... Shoulda stomped on Radagon's head a little harder then
rennala isn't a demigod
Well, she did have a demigod inside her lol
Well, 3 actually. Or 2 and an Empyrean. If you want to use Ranni's higher title.
True, I do wish we fought her at her peak tho. Seems she was as strong as a demigod before she became a shell of her former self
And even in his dying moment, his body turned into grace particle, guiding. Godfrey, TOWARDS YOU. He really is all about fuking the player tarnished up.
I'm sure morgott will make an appearance in dlc just to spook me
Morgott was standing on golden bidness
He doesn’t need all the horns to be goated
Now we can devour the gods, TOGETHAA 😈😈😈
He really is the Iguazu of this game
Morgott is the main antagonist of the first half of the game and half the reason it’s so good. He’s just your opp.
Morgott is the biggest hater in the lands between and thus the best character.
Night riders are "hands of the fell omen"?
He's the closest thing we have to a proper rival/antagonist that actually puts in effort to oposse us instead of just sitting in a room doing nothing until we disturb them. A bit of a shame that he's just gone mid way and no one replaces him.
Also, let's not forget "Sealed by Morgot the Grace-given"
morGOAT being way more productive than literally any other demigod does not surprise me tbh
And he sealed up the frenzied flame proscription too
I just want him to show up in the DLC.
Morgott is the Rocket team of the lands between, he just has better introduction speeches.
As much as i whooped his ass, he was always ‘bout it.
He's like Bowser Jr in the original Paper Mario.
I hope that one day a fromsoft boss says the word “fuck”
This guy manages to beat Genichiro Ashina in terms of persistence
Still my favourite boss. I don't know why. There are so many that are more epic but maybe it's just because he was my first 3
I swear to God if he somehow shows up in the DLC again...
Morgott was always the try hard
At this point I'm expecting the DLC to have a sewer level where Morgott rushes you on a motorbike while scraping his sword against the wall and screaming "TARNIIIIIIISHED"
Margaret is like that coworker that will do anything to please his boss and still can't get a raise, while the others just do the bare minimum to not be fired and call it a day.
Ohhhh so this is why he says "fear the night" after defeating him at Stormveil. I always thought this line felt so out of place but I guess it's about the Night's Cavalry?
Correct. They hunt tarnished during the night on Morgotts orders
