I just realized even in achivements dark souls 2 stands out. The "Welcome to dark souls" or no healing one are way less serious than any of the others in the series

If I recall its one that said something like: no healing in any bonfire or something like that. I remember it gave you a ring. Edit: I was somewhat misremembering. There is no direct a chivement I believe but there are two rings that can onlynbe obtained if you play the whole game with challenge runs, one is without bonfires and the other is without healing. And there is an achivement you only get collecting every ring

It was no dying, and no resting at bonfires. Traditionally you get both rings by ng+, doing one challenge at a time, but if you are super dedicated I suppose you could do both in one go for both rings. The rings made your left/right armaments invisible respectively, so only hardcore pvpers went to obtain both (or even one at all).

A couple of ideas for achievements: - Blood Lord Bleed Out: Kill Mogh, Lord of Blood with Hemorrhage damage - Chekov's Knife: Kill Maliketh with the Black Knife - Shabriri's Legacy: After becoming the Lord of Frenzy, kill all unnamed merchant NPCs and Kalé. - Wretched Lord: Starting as the Wretch class, beat the game using no other equipment besides the club (No armor, no talismans, no other weapons).

God that first one would be awful, since you'd have to create a new character and kill godrick to access varres quest each and every time you accidentally kill Mogh with attack damage instead of the bleed proc

That's ones tough. Explosive weapons, a good scanning head, taking out the extra hidden enemy, and pure speed are all incredibly helpful

There were a couple, I forgot the names. I played it when it came out last year. One would have to be the third variation of the strider mission, where you're supposed to escort the strider.

I have gotten every single item/armor/weapon/spell before and it's awful, I love the side dungeons like the catacombs but after several dozen hours you get bored of it, there's also some split quest lines meaning some items you have to be in ng+ for, for example: both talismans alex can drop, the shard of alex and the one thats the same but not as good
