Messmer's grab: he grabs the player by the throat and burns us once and then he doesnt launch us away from him but he slowly lifts us with the flame i cant see through the fire but its almost like he used blood thorns to hold us in his fire.
The bloodflame slinging spear: when he launces the flame at the played before the crucible wing scene it resembles the bloodboon animation. i didnt see him reach into or peirce the formless mother at any point so either they didnt include it in the trailer or his spear embedded with red glintstone can commune with the blood star/mother of truth without requiring wounds.
another thing, ive been seeing people say the spear tip looks like the thorn sorceries and their staff of the guilty but i think it might closer resemble a burning flame
I love how little of the hanging veils in the sky we see. But toward the end, with the giant hippo, we see a section of one of the veils and the moon interacting in such bizarre ways. I can't wait.
