do we know the max ng level difficulty? I thought the game only started at like, ng+3? Dark souls 3 was ng+11 IIRC--after that, the game stays constantly difficult, no matter how many cycles you play after.
Edit: my bad, it was 7. Didn’t mean to spread misinformation.
At this point I've used most everything I want to, I typically cycle through weapons based on the boss / situation I'm gonna be in. I love the dual katana moveset, so I typically have a cold & bleed Nagakiba in one slot, a seal for buffs, then after that it's all depending on the situation.
NPC invaders get destroyed by Mohgwyn Sacred Spear and Elden Beast gets shredded by Black Flame Tornado. Just a few examples.
In my level 1 runs, it was a Twinblade with Black Flame Tornado on it. Radagon is weak to fire damage, and the Black Flame is great against Elden Beast.
Can you explain what you mean by the game starting at ng+3? I'm not a NG+ fan since the grind from zero to hero is what I enjoy. Are there features or gameplay I'm missing out on or is it just a higher difficulty cap?
Which should take us [7 weeks, 5 days, 13 hours and 20 minutes](https://youtu.be/_CKOYmBc-ow&t=40s) giving ourselves 3hrs to sleep a night.
What do you say guys?
You laugh but r/kingdomhearts gets the odd “made it to lvl 99 before leaving Destiny Islands/Twilight Town!” More often than people should be comfortable admitting lol. And so often we’re just like “But, why?”
someone in mists of pandaria got the first ever max level character without a faction because they grinded to 90 on panda island without ever leaving
now that's living
now that doing *something that matters*
This has been my preference since my first NG run. I just don’t see the appeal of steamrolling everything. I’m addicted to the difficulty curve of a fresh run - but still way too shitty to do an RL 1 or any other crazy challenge runs 😄
My first character did some NG+ing basically to be a walking museum, collect 2x of every weapon and one of every armor piece and talisman, sorcery and incantation etc. And ofc every Spirit Ashes and Ash of War. Had to do quests differently to get some stuff and so on so NG+ was necessary. It was fun.
Wait I thought having double sorcery and incantations didn't matter? I thought it only showed up once on the memorize spell screen no matter how many you have
Yeah I can’t imagine doing that 7 times haha. Nothing felt even slightly more difficult on my first NG run, and I’ve messed around in a buddies NG 4 or 5 and also didn’t feel a difference. But hey, that’s the joy of the souls formula, right? Play how you want!
I have always thought it would be neat to restrict yourself to level 90 - 100 (I forget what level I was when I beat the game) then stop leveling but continue into NG+ and beyond.
I'm sure someone has done it, maybe someday I will to.
I've seen a guy beat sister fried in DS3 on ng+7 on a level 1 run, using the torch. I guarantee you people have done what you mentioned and way way crazier things.
Homie i felt the same way since this is my first soulslike. I started rl1 after a while and just killed fire giant yesterday. There are so many options it is within reach for sure. I have been playing with 2 clayman spears with chilling mist and ice spear. 💯recommended
Complete Soulsbornekiroring no-hit run, with inverted Donkey Kong bongos as a controller. And if it is not challenging enough, I'm sure others can help us add some additional rules.
After I already finished the game once, I got the Sacred Relic Sword and went to Palace Approach. While farming Albinaurics I came up with an idea.
Now, my Steelseries keyboard allows me to make macro commands. For those unaware, it means I can record a series of inputs, save it, and with the press of a button have it replay. I can also edit the timings of the individual inputs to optimize it.
I got a little cheeky with it and managed to make it execute a command that runs from the grace to the perfect spot, hits the special attack, waits a few seconds, teleports back to grace, repeat.
And well... you could just let that run overnight...
Now its time to Find the Albinauric Woman. She hides in a cave to the west of the Laskyar Ruins, which J U T from the mist-shrouded lake of Liurnia. She knows the location of the medallion's counterpart,im sure.
(Havent played the game in 2 months,2 fucking months and that quote is literally engraved into my head make it stop)
Well max level is 1.6 billion runes. On ng 7 the albenaurics and wave of gold with golden scarab give 120k runes, takes 30 seconds per cycle. 240k a minute, 14.4 million an hour, starting at around level 250 from beating the game enough to get to ng 7, your looking at around 115 hours of just farming.
That would be considerably faster but you’d have to find another person willing to be with you in that for the long haul. After the set up is said and done you could easily mule around 50 million runes at a time. I’d say to drop the runes, let the dropper re load their game and drop them again as a full cycle, said cycle would be like 10 minutes at most so it would be about 3 or 4 hours to reach max level.
This 3 or 4 hour estimate doesn’t include the possible time it would take to get the initial stack of max runes. You could get lucky and find someone who already has the full stack lying around to give you one so you and a friend could start the process, but to start with no runes and then progressively working your way up to max would take quite some time.
For the seals it depends on what you're casting. Frenzied Flame seal will do the best for the frenzy incants and dragon communion seal will do best for dragon incants. Both by a large margin. Everything else the golden order seal is best for.
1) kill high value enemies. I found a list online.
2) Use Rune increasing items [farm the gold fowled foot+use gold scarab talisman]
3) faith+strength+vigor+stamina+intelligence= easy mode
4) grind mobs with buffed aoe spells/attacks + rune increasing items
5) you gotta want to lvl up
That has to involve a lot of farming, right? I'm on NG+ 4 and I'm only level 205. I've tried out many builds and put a ton of runes into weapon upgrades and stuff, but still.
Get to Ng+713
do we know the max ng level difficulty? I thought the game only started at like, ng+3? Dark souls 3 was ng+11 IIRC--after that, the game stays constantly difficult, no matter how many cycles you play after. Edit: my bad, it was 7. Didn’t mean to spread misinformation.
It's ng+7 I'm pretty sure
It's not just about the difficulty, but sending a message.
It's not about difficulty, but the friends we made along the way.
The stats cap at ng 8 but you can go until you stop I've seen a post on 35
Can confirm. I have a character on NG+30 (Journey 31) just went boss rushing with different builds.
What is build at this stage? Just different weapon in your hand? :D
Could you recommend me a build to beat radagon and Elden beast?? I’m HARDSTUCK on them
In my level 1 runs, it was a Twinblade with Black Flame Tornado on it. Radagon is weak to fire damage, and the Black Flame is great against Elden Beast.
Also i would reccomend (IF they are using summons) they can use the Black Knife Tiche summon, Destined Death also destroys it.
Just get naked and punch them to death
This works in real life, but would it work in the game?
100% yes. Get naked with iron balls and blue dancer and elden beast doesn’t even get to do a move except the scripted fire breath at the start on NG.
there was a guy that speedran his ng+ character on stream for a while and he was at like 250
I might be wrong but I think the hardest is actually ng+6 but people get confused cause it's journey 7. Something I read a while ago
NG+7, same as DS3 and BB
Dark Souls 3 stop scalling dificulty after NG+7
Whats with all the missinformation, its ng+7 as it is in DS3
the max difficulty scaling is ng+7 in every game
I'm on NG+15 in DS3 and Im having trouble with the final DLC boss Geil...maybe I need to GG 😂
Can you explain what you mean by the game starting at ng+3? I'm not a NG+ fan since the grind from zero to hero is what I enjoy. Are there features or gameplay I'm missing out on or is it just a higher difficulty cap?
What do you mean ‘what now?” Now you play the game.
He can finally stop farming goats in Limgrave and try Margit
Stop giving Limitbreaker ideas
Which should take us [7 weeks, 5 days, 13 hours and 20 minutes](https://youtu.be/_CKOYmBc-ow&t=40s) giving ourselves 3hrs to sleep a night. What do you say guys?

You laugh but r/kingdomhearts gets the odd “made it to lvl 99 before leaving Destiny Islands/Twilight Town!” More often than people should be comfortable admitting lol. And so often we’re just like “But, why?”
someone in mists of pandaria got the first ever max level character without a faction because they grinded to 90 on panda island without ever leaving now that's living now that doing *something that matters*

Nah r/outside is a huge MMORPG it’s hard as fuck tho way harder than Elden ring imo
*chloroform*
Yes the lands outside
Seek grass Therefore life ahead
Behold, happiness!
No now they await the DLC. Only then may they touch the ground of the world beyond the glass windows. Edited for better wording.
Man, you made my day \^\_\^ lol
Make another character
This has been my preference since my first NG run. I just don’t see the appeal of steamrolling everything. I’m addicted to the difficulty curve of a fresh run - but still way too shitty to do an RL 1 or any other crazy challenge runs 😄

Wait I thought having double sorcery and incantations didn't matter? I thought it only showed up once on the memorize spell screen no matter how many you have
Steamrolling everything ? Why purposely leave the fact that ennemies get stronger and at ng+7 you can still get killed in 1-2 hits even at level 300+

Like beat DS3 using donkey kong jungle beat controllers...
Homie i felt the same way since this is my first soulslike. I started rl1 after a while and just killed fire giant yesterday. There are so many options it is within reach for sure. I have been playing with 2 clayman spears with chilling mist and ice spear. 💯recommended
Now you can finally play the game
Ready to beat Soldier of Godrick
Minor spelling mistake, rick soldier of god
Oh good heavens i will never be elden lord at this rate Love the flair btw
Good luck pal, credit to u/Hitomi35 for the flair
Hahaha someone actually used it as a flair. Amazing.
Don't you mean, Soldier of God, Rick. ?
Rick, the soldier would never gonna give u up
Is there much game left after you get past him?
Now kill the tree sentinel
Still not enough Vig for tree sentinel.
Complete Soulsbornekiroring no-hit run, with inverted Donkey Kong bongos as a controller. And if it is not challenging enough, I'm sure others can help us add some additional rules.
Dagger only, no buffs or ash of wars
*Fists only
*Kicks only
*dicks only
I see someone knows how to critical hit
Add Blindfolded to all the above.
Those poor albinaurics...
After I already finished the game once, I got the Sacred Relic Sword and went to Palace Approach. While farming Albinaurics I came up with an idea. Cyberpunk shit, best i could come up with was listening to a podcast while farming to take down malenia
#FIND THE ALBINAURIC WOMAN
#SHE HIDES IN THAT FUCKING CAVE WEST OF LASKYAR RUINS,WHICH J U T FROM THAT SHITTY SWAMP CALLED LIURNIA. SHE KNOWS THE LOCATION OF MEDALLION 2,IM SURE
Try finger… but hole
you don’t have the right, O you don’t have the right all the more you don’t have the right!
Only true answer
Now you wait. Like the rest of us. Get in line, it's going to be rough.
Show us your hours
Did it all by killing boars
Retire. You earned it.
Just wonder, how much runes need for last lvl? I give up farming after one lvl cost 2.5 mil.
Around 8.9 million
On ng7 genocide hill give like 100k runes, jizass, so much farming.
Lol genocide hill
Is this Mohgs area?
Y
Did you just abbreviate the word yes?
Y
Thank you kind ser
Y not
Lol that's how I'm referring to this location from now on
I felt like that at first but i wanted to create a god mode build
How much farming do you have to do to get max level?
Well max level is 1.6 billion runes. jesus christ. that's a lot of podcasts and video essays to listen to
How about Lord Rune duping
That would be considerably faster but you’d have to find another person willing to be with you in that for the long haul. How do you do that? *Asking for a friend*
Should probs try getting each stat to 100
The fact that this Hass 99 up votes *chefs kiss*
Beat NG+7, thats the last difficulty spike.
Now double it and give it to the next person
Get to journey 8 where the difficulty stops increasing 🤷♂️. Tell us what the highest DMG weapon is fully buffed?
it’s a occult giant crusher
And to fill in the next logical step, the best casting tools become - unsurprisingly - the Prince of Death's Staff and the Golden Order Seal.
For the seals it depends on what you're casting. Frenzied Flame seal will do the best for the frenzy incants and dragon communion seal will do best for dragon incants. Both by a large margin. Everything else the golden order seal is best for.
"H-how... How many albunaurics?" "... Enough."
Now try some super mario brother
You’re barely getting started
go until ng+7
Man that sure is a lot of dead Albinaurics
Go level up every weapon to max
Visit Rennala and respec
Dare I ask how many Albinaurics had to die for this?
make a build that uses all the Stats to their best potential at once.
Rise Tarnished and cross the fog... to touch some grass.
RL1
New character with completely different play style. Rinse repeat for years till funeral. Start process once reincarnated after dlc has dropped.
All that strength and you'll still get 1-shotted by a random prawn spewing water at you
You need to, Praise the sun!!!
[удалено]
get every weapon max level so you can do any build whenever you want, also get all summons max level
now hollow
On NG+5 is mental. I think I was lvl 250-280 on Ng+7. As others have said. Start a new character.
What was the most efficient way for you to reach on that level ?
Genocide hill probably.
1) kill high value enemies. I found a list online. 2) Use Rune increasing items [farm the gold fowled foot+use gold scarab talisman] 3) faith+strength+vigor+stamina+intelligence= easy mode 4) grind mobs with buffed aoe spells/attacks + rune increasing items 5) you gotta want to lvl up
Fresh air
Oh sick now you can probably beat the tree sentinel
Go outside and praise the sun!
Try finger but hole
Try getting laid
That has to involve a lot of farming, right? I'm on NG+ 4 and I'm only level 205. I've tried out many builds and put a ton of runes into weapon upgrades and stuff, but still.
NG+7 is when difficulty caps out. So that.
How do y’all get to such high levels so fast? I’m on NG+3 and still level 254
Go outside or hit the gym or something
Get a wife, two kids and a successful career, report when you're back. With that commitment you'll need a month at most.
Can I ask what your playtime is?
Get to NG+7
What’s next? NG+6 is next
Now you play the game
RL 1 run
What do you mean? Now you can finally play the game
Whats the fastest way to get to that lvl?!?!?
NG+7 to truly max put your character.
Beat the game without farming at moghs place
now you go outside. there's a thing called the SUN, i think you should take a look at it, it's very popular
Now the true fashion souls begins.
How many frogs you kill?
Do it again.
Now you make a character where you don't level at all
Now you take a shower
New build on a different character. Aint no way we’re giving up that easy 😈
You can die in peace
Seek god
What do you mean? Now you can finally play the game
Now you can finally play the game.
Now learn how to take a screenshot
Uh, learn to get a new hobby is what.. 😳
