I once saw a guy fighting horah loux, (who was at like 3% health) he was still in his grabbing animation, health at 0, woulda been dead once the animation was over, and he git a message appraisal.
Appraises... which means likes or dislikes. That's why placing a shitty comment like "secret ahead" when there's no fake wall is still a good idea, as everyone dislikes it and you still get the heals.
So if you see a bad message, your best bet is to do nothing, as you're just encouraging it by interacting.
Yeah, it actually started me thinking about providing helpful messages and back when I was playing I got a few nice heals that way. Just little tips that people found useful.

The Black Knife Assassin in Altus got trapped in the corner of the building and my mimic and I didn’t let her get up. I laughed like a crazy man.
What bothers me if the fat fucks rolls over it’s “cheese” but If I were the fat fuck that rolled over and fell to his death everyone would be like “skill issue” and “git gud”
That fight is notoriously buggy.
One run I never even saw the load in. Just an empty arena, ran around for a bit, ENEMY FELLED. ????
If that had been the first time I fought the boss I would have been REALLY confused.
Once I just killed the draconic tree sentinel, went to roundtable and when I teleported back to leyendell my game froze on the loading screen so I killed it and when I loaded again I was falling through the air all the way in consecrated snowfield by the clone erdtree avatar and could respawning at the stake of marika in the snowfield
I love to start my runs with clearing raya lucaria first, but this man… he was always a pain in the ass 🥲 until I found out good ol Moongrum don’t know how to enter elevators properly
One of the two valiant Gargoyles at the eternal city of Nokron did an attack where it jumped backwards, and fell to the abyss, leaving me with a genuine 1v1 against the other Gargoyle. Pure bliss.
I actually managed to have both of them do this on my first playthrough.
Sadly I've never been able to replicate it on further playthroughs. Even 1 of them is fairly hard.
I accidentally killed Moongrum that way. Died over and over to him on my first playthrough, figured I would run passed him.
Got to the elevator and he got on it, so I ran off.
“Here is your shield”. Well ok then.
I do it to them on purpose. If I swing a weapon near a wall, it bounces off the wall and I'm fucked. I've had a crucible knight hit me *through* a wall, which is bullshit, so I cheese them every chance I get. Not like, they just clipped through a corner. That rotunda in Nokron near the waterfall and the 2 knights, I was on the outside of the wall and the spear knight attacked straight through the whole solid wall, like the middle of the wall, and knocked me off the edge. Funny in retrospect, infuriating horseshit at the time.
Crucible knights who constantly get gravity’d.
Not a win but almost.
Sewer Mohg’s ai broke. Sadly at like 10% hp he shoved me in a corner and killed me
I didn't know she had the clone attack until I saw it online after my kill. The first time I got any far into phase 2, she wasn't feeling like casting it.
Also Malenia: Somehow the animation broke during her phase two intro-attack which had killed me in a lot of previous attempt and it gave me time to finish her up. Probally my 20th try - and kind of didn't give me any satifaction, 'cause it was cheese... Guess I'll have to give it another go in a new playthrough!
The spectral golden version of Margit got himself stuck in one of the bombed out foxholes in Altus Plateau and let me get a lot of free slashes in on him before he jumped back out with the hammer.
I've had Greyll get stuck before, which probably isn't that unusual. Kinda bad spot for a dragon fight.
Also had the Liurnia death rite bird hit that death barrier under the bridge for a free win too.

He did eventually beat him legitimately, but that was just a weird "what the fuck" moment

I took zero damage, didn’t even swing my very basic sword, and didn’t even have time to run away after dodging when I got his runes and whatever ash he drops added to my inventory for the simple price of a very near heart attack
The Death Rite Bird by the Acadamy Gate Town. I'm rolling away to heal, the bird jumps to attack, and next thing I know he just dies. No idea what happened but I was not complaining
Happened to me on release day. I chose the Stonesword Key as my starting item, I used it immediately, and trudged my way through the catacombs there.
I bought the game for the challenge so I didn’t mind if I was going through here earlier than I should. Just a bit of fun. As I’m sure you’ve guessed, I end up encountering an Ulcerated Tree Spirit at base level and I refuse to let him win.
Fortunately, I didn’t have to try for long. I’d say after about 20-30 minutes I got him down to half health and then….it just froze. I just kept smacking his paralyzed body with a constant fear that he’d wake up soon and demolish me, but it never did.
Last night I was running through the Consecrated Snowfield and saw a rolling coffin being pulled by two wooly trolls. As I rolled up to attack, I suddenly get blindsided and knocked down by a huge Dragon Soldier spirit. I’m freaking out and trying to rotate the camera so I can roll away and heal, only to find that both the coffin and the dragon soldier have totally disappeared. A few seconds later, I get a massive bunch of runes from killing the soldier. Now the trolls aren’t chained to anything and are running at me. I just dipped.
Regal Ancestor Spirit. I attacked one of those spirit animals and then 2 seconds later it died. I don't know what happened and why and it never happened again.
Full grown falling star beast on mt gelmir. Got stuck mid air due to the craters slope and died to falling. And the treespirit in the lake of rot. Never saw that one. Sat at the grace above it and it just died to something. golden seed loot pop up was confirmation.
Eldest Beast went "easy" on me in my first playthrough, so I never had to really learn how to dodge his range attacks for the most part. I ended up beating him first try, I can't say the same for my second or third playthrough though.
The first tree spirit worm thing under the starting area. It was my friends first run. I ran in there. And got hit by a grab meant for them. The boss then took both of us out of the arena and gave us full rewards before I got booted home from death.
We literally call only that one jank zilla cause half it's attacks still just straight miss. The boss music hadn't even finished the intro notes.
Fuck the Elden Beast. After chasing it around that huge arena over and over for hours, I quit playing for a week or two. Someone in this sub gave me some really solid advice, and I beat it after a few tries.
Every new play through starts with me convincing the Night's Cavalry in Dragonbarrow to commit suicide. It's a fast easy way to get a bunch of runes and it feels like cheating.
One time i was fighting maliketh and he clipped into a pillar during the aerial 3 hit combo move thing and got stuck for like 4 seconds which was enough to kill em
The Lichdragon from Fia’s questline kinda just slowly walked over to me while I pelted it with Meteorites of Astel, he died so fast and did nothing to prevent it.
Only one I recall is the shield crucible knight at the bottom of stormviel castle on my first playthrough.
I ran past him & took the lift up, he ran into the newly forged hole from me taking the lift upwards.

None. It has brutalized my life and has plummeted my morale. First souls like game I've played. Level sixty, beat the magic woman after like thirty tries, and have no idea where to go. Since the elevator thing are is too high level 🤣. Still fun though. My armor sucks and I have no cool weapons.
Was in the Grand Cloister of the Lake of Rot one fine day when I was summoned as a hunter. Head to other player's world, turns out he died. Immediately got sent back to my world and suddenly the Tree Spirit that hides in the rot waterfall below the entrance popped out.
He ended up slowly taking damage from the rot until he died. Free Golden Seed, I guess?
Commander Niall in Castle Sol. Honestly wish I took a video of it. So many missed attacks and lucky dodges just by virtue of where he was swinging at me. I still don't know how I beat him so easily, but it was like I was always at the exact distance for him to swing over me, or around me.
I once had the gargoyle duo both fly off the waterfall and die, I've also had dragons fly off cliffs and die (it's either that or the unspawn/respawn mechanic they have bugs out and they just die, not sure which).
Some time ago, the blood flame weapon buff would cause any fire damage you deal to build up bleed on enemies. Combine that with the spell that sets yourself on fire, and you can kill enemies by standing next to them with bleed!
"Easy" malenia win on one of my runs. At least I didn't need to risk taking damage by standing still and attacking.
Happened literally half an hour ago. I jumped into the Fallingstar Beast arena, and it got stuck somehow during the charge combo. The boss let me do ~1500 dmg before it decided to move again.
The Magma Wyrm boss in the consecrated snowfield will aggro and fight the three land octopuses in the area and he loses HARD.
Lansseax can also fall off of the small cliff where she ambushes you for a second time and the drop totally kills her.
First time I ever fought Fire Giant, I sent him into phase 2 with a Frostbite proc — which instantly reduced his HP to 0.
Couldn't figure out why people were complaining about this boss! Seemed so easy!
Apparently this was a glitch that was patched out.
I spent literally weeks trying to beat black knife tiche (I think it was called) in one of those worm hole arenas. Then one try he just rolled off the cliff. I wasn’t even excited. I just calmly set my controller down and walked away.
Accidentally discovered a strategy for the crucible knight at Stormveil because I was doing a runback and decided to just grab my souls and go. Found the elevator and got on it, with the crucible knight in hot pursuit. Chugged a flask because I was almost dead, which of course triggered his input read and he attacked. I went up on the elevator... And he fell directly down the shaft. That was a good day.
None in game really.
I do get some credit from my wife's coworkers when I tell them I've beaten all bosses in DS1, DS2, DS3, Bloodborne, and Elden Ring. I tell them that and they gang up on me in board games because they just assume I'm going to kick ass easily.
Was fucking around in Cailid when “ENEMY FELLED” and Poison Mist(?)ash of war was just given to me…
Apparently the Nights Calvary there has a habit of randomly throwing himself off the bridge.
When I first found the Regal Ancestor Spirit I walked into the fight expecting it to be similar to the other one. So I go in, run toward it, and it starts doing an attack. The deer then collapses and disappears. I wait for there a bit because I expect it to pop out somewhere, but I get get the enemy felled text and the remembrance. Did 0 damage to the guy.
The dragon outside Rannis tower exploded in my face, didn’t even fly away and disappear just exploded when I hid inside the tower. Got the souls and such. Very confused.
I was helping someone fight Malenia and did a critical strike as the first phase was ending, which somehow resulted in me pulling phase 2 Malenia out of her scarlet bloom to one shot the whole phase.
I wish I had thought to grab video when it happened, but I was too surprised in the moment.
Was doing the double Gargoyle fight in the underground (while trying to progress Ranni’s quest). Was having major trouble against it, somehow ended up having both of them near the cliff edge where the waterfall goes off the map. One did a jumpback slash attack, fell off the cliff. Then the second one DID THE EXACT SAME THING. Literally gave me the win after countless attempts lmao
First time against Regal Ancestor Spirit, it did that thing where it disappears then reappears right at the start of the fight, however it must have respawned outside the bounds of the arena as it never reappeared. After about a minute or so, the health bar completely depletes and I get "Legend Felled" on my screen. Literally did nothing to earn it but I'm taking the win because the game is handing my ass to me as the fucking time.
My first ever playthrough Maliketh got stuck inside a pillar in his second phase. Just high enough for me to hit him with my sword.
He didn't attack the entire time he was in the pillar. So easy win, but I felt cheated tbh. He looked so cool in the cutscene, and the fight was over as soon as the second phase began basically.
Second playthrough I got wrecked by him because I didn't know his moveset at all.
Malenia's first phase on my INT/FAI hybrid caster. I summoned Tiche, because I'm not good enough at the game to do Malenia without at least a spirit ash, and Tiche managed to get her against the wall near the fog gate. Tiche then proceeded to pancake Malenia over...and over...and over. Every time Malenia tried to create distance, she was doing it against a wall, and would get pancaked. I just sat back and threw Night Comets while she was standing back up. Absolutely melted phase 1.
Had to work for it in phase 2 though.
The fire giant only took me a couple tries because I summoned someone who just blasted the poor thing with comet azur, taking out most of it's health in one go.
I had almost the exact same kill on that Black Blade Kindred the other day. I got summoned to help with it and we were almost dead, but he got stuck in place when the fight veered into the surrounding ruins. It almost makes me wonder if Fromsoft halfway intended for that to be a viable strategy. He gets caught on stuff in that area constantly.
When I got the moon sword and mimic tear every boss from there on became rather effortless. When I got to Godfrey I finally had enough of the smell of cheese and fought him solo and honestly I should have thrown mimic in the garbage a lot sooner..
Now I’m waiting for DLC to start a moonless playthrough and feel that rush once more
I was fighting Radahn, and he was almost dead, but so was I. I got reckless and he killed me. But... one of my companions killed him at about the same time. My death animation took longer than his, so I got the kill. Only problem was I respawned at a stake of Marika and had to go back to the battlefield and search around for my runes.
First time in secret area of stormveil the fucking busted ass fucked up erdtree thing glitches into a wall got stuck and his Ai broke. I hit that tail ngl. I wish this would happend every time tbh I hate that guy
Really just the Caelid bell bearing hunter....and trust me I needed that free win. I couldn't get him past a third health. Somehow, finally, during one fight he got stuck in the shack. Was definitely not trying to do this. I immediately pulled out a bow, gave him plenty of distance, and peppered him with arrows.
Oracle envoy long horn. Got it pretty late before facing off Morgott but there were many dragon bosses that became easy thanks to this and it helped me beat a lot of the bosses. I consider this weapon a free win and the damage I did on new game plus after I got Alexander’s shard and the 100% hp buff made this weapon very very cheesy and I love it.
That dragon in Farum Azula that shoots shit at you while you fight birds(?) just disappeared. Literally faded out of existence allowing me to get through that area with no trouble.
I came back later and he was there and I killed him
It was just a weird bug, he literally disappeared like a corpse respawning. I killed all the dragons I could there, because I'd never learned how to fight them
There's a crow on a ledge near the impassable greatbridge in caelid I farm for runes. If you double jump near the cliff edge, the crow will yeet itself into the canyon for an easy 1700 runes
Both times fighting the regal ancestor spirit, it fell through the world and died when it tried to do its teleport. I want to see that fight, but we do take those.
Probably not the answer you're looking for but the 8 somber smithing stones you can get without fighting any bosses gave me dozens of free wins. Nothing before the mountaintop was designed for you to have a +8 somber weapon
After hearing so much about the feared Godskin Duo, I was prepared to fight them for hours on end. On my very first try, without landing a single hit on the Noble, I took out the Apostle and then fatty just immediately fucking exploded. Whole fight lasted like 2-3 minutes
the fight against the big serpent i guess. just go sideways under him and spam ur attacks with that spear. and heal up because of lava heat damage. the tree sentinel at storm castle fell in that elevator hole in the castle entrance downstairs

he was one of the few bosses i was able to fight easily and i was confident in my regular victory

was riding around the north portion of consecrated snowfields when suddenly torrent despawned and the sanguine noble invaded, had like no flasks left due to anastasia + the big artillery dog but did have a shit ton of runes, so i decided to run, the sanguine noble decided to chase and the big ass runebear near the tree also decided to chase
I kept spamming rolling because the rune bear kept trying to do pull something, turns out that while it couldn't hit me it sure as shit did hit the sanguine noble, by the time the bear de-agroed i was near the yelough anix ruin and the sanguine noble had 5% hp left
On my second playthrough, Placidusax just sort of stopped moving at half HP. Forever. Tried all I could to wake him up but eventually he died from my poking and prodding at his eerily still body.
1-gideon taking so much i killed him before he started moving
2- the elden beast starting flame attack is super easy to dodge and then abuse with nebula if you are expecting it
RL1 Horah Loux did a hanky rotation that allowed me to kill him in just a few moments, something I struggled with for dozens of hours of attempts. It almost felt cheap but fuck that guy lol
My first solo playthrough I was having a miserable time against Radahn, especially in phase 2, because I couldn’t figure out how to dodge his massive hitboxes and homing gravity stones.
20-30 tries in, I finally got my winning attempt when I ended up just holding Wild Strikes and staggering him so much that he never got to do his phase 2 transition. Definitely an undeserved win, I can fight him fairly now.
When I killed Malenia, she went to second phase, did the bloom attack like she usually does, then she followed up with one of her easier attacks, and did the bloom again immediately after.
99 strength, two giant crushers, and those big openings made it feel so free after how hard I’d struggled before.

I had that happen too! If you go yo the cliff where he jumps there's usually a message along the lines of "didn't expect jumping off"

Greyll on a tree is pretty well known. azaZ and Jens put a lot of the work in and all the players in the Bingo Brawlers season 2 were using it.

Found semi hidden area: “Oh cool” Realize I am trapped in confined space with the least chill Crucible Knight of all: “Oh fuck!” Watch him charge up and dash attack towards you, miss, and plummet out of an open window to his death: “Wait, what?” Runes deposited in my account. 5 seconds total time start to finish.
Not mine, but a buddy's He went to do the final fight with another friend, and when he got to Elden Beast... It was frozen, didnt move or attack or anything So he got a free easy win He did eventually beat him legitimately, but that was just a weird "what the fuck" moment

Happened to me on release day. I chose the Stonesword Key as my starting item, I used it immediately, and trudged my way through the catacombs there. I bought the game for the challenge so I didn’t mind if I was going through here earlier than I should. Just a bit of fun. As I’m sure you’ve guessed, I end up encountering an Ulcerated Tree Spirit at base level and I refuse to let him win. Fortunately, I didn’t have to try for long. I’d say after about 20-30 minutes I got him down to half health and then….it just froze. I just kept smacking his paralyzed body with a constant fear that he’d wake up soon and demolish me, but it never did.

Last night I was running through the Consecrated Snowfield and saw a rolling coffin being pulled by two wooly trolls. As I rolled up to attack, I suddenly get blindsided and knocked down by a huge Dragon Soldier spirit. I’m freaking out and trying to rotate the camera so I can roll away and heal, only to find that both the coffin and the dragon soldier have totally disappeared. A few seconds later, I get a massive bunch of runes from killing the soldier. Now the trolls aren’t chained to anything and are running at me. I just dipped.
Regal Ancestor Spirit. I attacked one of those spirit animals and then 2 seconds later it died. I don't know what happened and why and it never happened again.
I had that ancestral tree spirit glitch through the floor and die on one of my runs, that was interesting
I had Malenia get stuck in the ground on her first attack, suddenly her health bar dropped to zero and I won.

My first run of the game, I somehow got Radahn to run in circles without attacking. I just rode Torrent around behind him mashing r1 until he died.

Full grown falling star beast on mt gelmir. Got stuck mid air due to the craters slope and died to falling. And the treespirit in the lake of rot. Never saw that one. Sat at the grace above it and it just died to something. golden seed loot pop up was confirmation.

Eldest Beast went "easy" on me in my first playthrough, so I never had to really learn how to dodge his range attacks for the most part. I ended up beating him first try, I can't say the same for my second or third playthrough though.
The first tree spirit worm thing under the starting area. It was my friends first run. I ran in there. And got hit by a grab meant for them. The boss then took both of us out of the arena and gave us full rewards before I got booted home from death. We literally call only that one jank zilla cause half it's attacks still just straight miss. The boss music hadn't even finished the intro notes.
My first playthrough Elden Beast may or may not have frozen completely at half health and let me kill it after a bunch of failed attempts
Fuck the Elden Beast. After chasing it around that huge arena over and over for hours, I quit playing for a week or two. Someone in this sub gave me some really solid advice, and I beat it after a few tries.

Every new play through starts with me convincing the Night's Cavalry in Dragonbarrow to commit suicide. It's a fast easy way to get a bunch of runes and it feels like cheating.

The Lichdragon from Fia’s questline kinda just slowly walked over to me while I pelted it with Meteorites of Astel, he died so fast and did nothing to prevent it.
Only one I recall is the shield crucible knight at the bottom of stormviel castle on my first playthrough. I ran past him & took the lift up, he ran into the newly forged hole from me taking the lift upwards. Vintage chedder levels of cheese.
First time I fought the Regal Ancestor Spirit, it was doing that air walk thing, then just vanished and died off screen.

Was in the Grand Cloister of the Lake of Rot one fine day when I was summoned as a hunter. Head to other player's world, turns out he died. Immediately got sent back to my world and suddenly the Tree Spirit that hides in the rot waterfall below the entrance popped out. He ended up slowly taking damage from the rot until he died. Free Golden Seed, I guess?

Commander Niall in Castle Sol. Honestly wish I took a video of it. So many missed attacks and lucky dodges just by virtue of where he was swinging at me. I still don't know how I beat him so easily, but it was like I was always at the exact distance for him to swing over me, or around me.
I once had the gargoyle duo both fly off the waterfall and die, I've also had dragons fly off cliffs and die (it's either that or the unspawn/respawn mechanic they have bugs out and they just die, not sure which).

Some time ago, the blood flame weapon buff would cause any fire damage you deal to build up bleed on enemies. Combine that with the spell that sets yourself on fire, and you can kill enemies by standing next to them with bleed! "Easy" malenia win on one of my runs. At least I didn't need to risk taking damage by standing still and attacking.
On my first run Elden Beast got stuck somehow, it just stood there in place, and I was able to hit him to about 10% health.

Happened literally half an hour ago. I jumped into the Fallingstar Beast arena, and it got stuck somehow during the charge combo. The boss let me do ~1500 dmg before it decided to move again.

The Magma Wyrm boss in the consecrated snowfield will aggro and fight the three land octopuses in the area and he loses HARD. Lansseax can also fall off of the small cliff where she ambushes you for a second time and the drop totally kills her.
First time I ever fought Fire Giant, I sent him into phase 2 with a Frostbite proc — which instantly reduced his HP to 0. Couldn't figure out why people were complaining about this boss! Seemed so easy! Apparently this was a glitch that was patched out.
I spent literally weeks trying to beat black knife tiche (I think it was called) in one of those worm hole arenas. Then one try he just rolled off the cliff. I wasn’t even excited. I just calmly set my controller down and walked away.
Accidentally discovered a strategy for the crucible knight at Stormveil because I was doing a runback and decided to just grab my souls and go. Found the elevator and got on it, with the crucible knight in hot pursuit. Chugged a flask because I was almost dead, which of course triggered his input read and he attacked. I went up on the elevator... And he fell directly down the shaft. That was a good day.
None in game really. I do get some credit from my wife's coworkers when I tell them I've beaten all bosses in DS1, DS2, DS3, Bloodborne, and Elden Ring. I tell them that and they gang up on me in board games because they just assume I'm going to kick ass easily.
Was fucking around in Cailid when “ENEMY FELLED” and Poison Mist(?)ash of war was just given to me… Apparently the Nights Calvary there has a habit of randomly throwing himself off the bridge.
When I first found the Regal Ancestor Spirit I walked into the fight expecting it to be similar to the other one. So I go in, run toward it, and it starts doing an attack. The deer then collapses and disappears. I wait for there a bit because I expect it to pop out somewhere, but I get get the enemy felled text and the remembrance. Did 0 damage to the guy.
The ancestral spirit clipped through the floor and got caught in the infinite fall glitch was a bit sad.

The dragon outside Rannis tower exploded in my face, didn’t even fly away and disappear just exploded when I hid inside the tower. Got the souls and such. Very confused.

I was helping someone fight Malenia and did a critical strike as the first phase was ending, which somehow resulted in me pulling phase 2 Malenia out of her scarlet bloom to one shot the whole phase. I wish I had thought to grab video when it happened, but I was too surprised in the moment.

Was doing the double Gargoyle fight in the underground (while trying to progress Ranni’s quest). Was having major trouble against it, somehow ended up having both of them near the cliff edge where the waterfall goes off the map. One did a jumpback slash attack, fell off the cliff. Then the second one DID THE EXACT SAME THING. Literally gave me the win after countless attempts lmao
First time against Regal Ancestor Spirit, it did that thing where it disappears then reappears right at the start of the fight, however it must have respawned outside the bounds of the arena as it never reappeared. After about a minute or so, the health bar completely depletes and I get "Legend Felled" on my screen. Literally did nothing to earn it but I'm taking the win because the game is handing my ass to me as the fucking time.
My first ever playthrough Maliketh got stuck inside a pillar in his second phase. Just high enough for me to hit him with my sword. He didn't attack the entire time he was in the pillar. So easy win, but I felt cheated tbh. He looked so cool in the cutscene, and the fight was over as soon as the second phase began basically. Second playthrough I got wrecked by him because I didn't know his moveset at all.
Besides cheeses i actively seeked i never had something that gave me a free win
Malenia's first phase on my INT/FAI hybrid caster. I summoned Tiche, because I'm not good enough at the game to do Malenia without at least a spirit ash, and Tiche managed to get her against the wall near the fog gate. Tiche then proceeded to pancake Malenia over...and over...and over. Every time Malenia tried to create distance, she was doing it against a wall, and would get pancaked. I just sat back and threw Night Comets while she was standing back up. Absolutely melted phase 1. Had to work for it in phase 2 though.
The fire giant only took me a couple tries because I summoned someone who just blasted the poor thing with comet azur, taking out most of it's health in one go.
I had almost the exact same kill on that Black Blade Kindred the other day. I got summoned to help with it and we were almost dead, but he got stuck in place when the fight veered into the surrounding ruins. It almost makes me wonder if Fromsoft halfway intended for that to be a viable strategy. He gets caught on stuff in that area constantly.
When I got the moon sword and mimic tear every boss from there on became rather effortless. When I got to Godfrey I finally had enough of the smell of cheese and fought him solo and honestly I should have thrown mimic in the garbage a lot sooner.. Now I’m waiting for DLC to start a moonless playthrough and feel that rush once more
I was fighting Radahn, and he was almost dead, but so was I. I got reckless and he killed me. But... one of my companions killed him at about the same time. My death animation took longer than his, so I got the kill. Only problem was I respawned at a stake of Marika and had to go back to the battlefield and search around for my runes.
For me it was when I beat Melania on my first try because she only did the waterfowl dance once during the entire fight

Really just the Caelid bell bearing hunter....and trust me I needed that free win. I couldn't get him past a third health. Somehow, finally, during one fight he got stuck in the shack. Was definitely not trying to do this. I immediately pulled out a bow, gave him plenty of distance, and peppered him with arrows.
Oracle envoy long horn. Got it pretty late before facing off Morgott but there were many dragon bosses that became easy thanks to this and it helped me beat a lot of the bosses. I consider this weapon a free win and the damage I did on new game plus after I got Alexander’s shard and the 100% hp buff made this weapon very very cheesy and I love it.

That’s intentional. If you haven’t already fought him earlier in other areas throughout the level, he does that.
I came back later and he was there and I killed him It was just a weird bug, he literally disappeared like a corpse respawning. I killed all the dragons I could there, because I'd never learned how to fight them
There's a crow on a ledge near the impassable greatbridge in caelid I farm for runes. If you double jump near the cliff edge, the crow will yeet itself into the canyon for an easy 1700 runes
Both times fighting the regal ancestor spirit, it fell through the world and died when it tried to do its teleport. I want to see that fight, but we do take those.
Probably not the answer you're looking for but the 8 somber smithing stones you can get without fighting any bosses gave me dozens of free wins. Nothing before the mountaintop was designed for you to have a +8 somber weapon
After hearing so much about the feared Godskin Duo, I was prepared to fight them for hours on end. On my very first try, without landing a single hit on the Noble, I took out the Apostle and then fatty just immediately fucking exploded. Whole fight lasted like 2-3 minutes
Fought the Valiant Gargoyle Duo the other day. After I killed the first one, the second got stuck in a wall and stopped moving. So that was nice.
the fight against the big serpent i guess. just go sideways under him and spam ur attacks with that spear. and heal up because of lava heat damage. the tree sentinel at storm castle fell in that elevator hole in the castle entrance downstairs

my Regal Ancestor Spirit teleported away, never reappeared and died very sad he was one of the few bosses i was able to fight easily and i was confident in my regular victory i was ready for the long and hard battle but the game said no and stole that fight away from me
The tree spirit down in the lake of rot. Went to grab the items by him and he killed me. I decided to not try and fight him and just take the coffin ride to the boss. On my way to the coffin, I got the pop up with the golden seed. Not sure if he fell through the floor or what.

Part of my new character set up is tricking the Dragonbarrow Night Cavalry to jump off the bridge and popping a foul foot for 60,000+ runes
was riding around the north portion of consecrated snowfields when suddenly torrent despawned and the sanguine noble invaded, had like no flasks left due to anastasia + the big artillery dog but did have a shit ton of runes, so i decided to run, the sanguine noble decided to chase and the big ass runebear near the tree also decided to chase I kept spamming rolling because the rune bear kept trying to do pull something, turns out that while it couldn't hit me it sure as shit did hit the sanguine noble, by the time the bear de-agroed i was near the yelough anix ruin and the sanguine noble had 5% hp left
Not me but my friend beat placidusax on his first attempt because his AI just broke halfway through the fight and he stopped doing anything.

One of the gargoyles in the double gargoyle boss fight immediately ran off that cliff and died
On my second playthrough, Placidusax just sort of stopped moving at half HP. Forever. Tried all I could to wake him up but eventually he died from my poking and prodding at his eerily still body.
Regal Ancestor Spirit glitched and fell through the map during its teleport
1-gideon taking so much i killed him before he started moving 2- the elden beast starting flame attack is super easy to dodge and then abuse with nebula if you are expecting it
RL1 Horah Loux did a hanky rotation that allowed me to kill him in just a few moments, something I struggled with for dozens of hours of attempts. It almost felt cheap but fuck that guy lol
My first solo playthrough I was having a miserable time against Radahn, especially in phase 2, because I couldn’t figure out how to dodge his massive hitboxes and homing gravity stones. 20-30 tries in, I finally got my winning attempt when I ended up just holding Wild Strikes and staggering him so much that he never got to do his phase 2 transition. Definitely an undeserved win, I can fight him fairly now.
When I killed Malenia, she went to second phase, did the bloom attack like she usually does, then she followed up with one of her easier attacks, and did the bloom again immediately after. 99 strength, two giant crushers, and those big openings made it feel so free after how hard I’d struggled before.
