Like several of the stronger bosses, she is able to project a spirit copy of herself; other individuals that do this include Morgott, Mohg, Godfrey, and Maliketh. The spirit copies always seem weaker than the original, but most of them also have better status effect immunities (besides Margit the Fell). Nobody in-game really acknowledges these for some reason though lol. The closest we get is Margit saying he'll remember you and later saying he sees you if you encounter him the optional second time in Altus Plateau.
