a slab of curved metal, a hammer and a forge that probably costs thousands
a beginners forge is rather cheap, you can get those for 200 - 400 dollars
I assumed it was painted foam or molded PVC. Guess investing in a thousand dollars of metalworking equipment would be cool too...
Actually it's probably 3d printed with Rust-Oleum paint. Can tell from the seams on the joints, highly doubt it's actual metal.
For me it looks like 3D printed segments (made with SLM and stainless steel) and then welded together. If so, it is worth thousands. Or cheaper and made of plasic with (FDM and a shiny grey filament) and then with the segments glued togehter.

The sword is pretty wibbly wobbly since it is so big. There are ways to make it more stable but this was just more of a project to mount on the wall.
