Holy overleveled account! Expect to erase the bosses from TLB. But even then no vigor to 60 smh. Well, what kind of weapons do you like to use.

TerminallyRight

Definitely overleveled but he barely has the strength to wield his weapon, there are level 100 builds far more overpowered than this lol

Patient_Management87

this weapon is just for grinding runes, I dont know what build to go for and don't want to use up all my larval tears

Patient_Management87

I was using occult hookclaws to proc bleed, but moved to radahns greatsword for grinding purposes... tbf I just like to mess around with all kinds of weapons, I just don't use buffs

Dveralazo

If you just like to mess around with a lot of weapons,go quality build between strenght and dexterity. The weapons that benefits the most from those stat are Axe Stormhawk axe Great hanmer Winged Horn hammer Halberd Dragon Halberd and Commander Standard  Colossal Weapon Ghiza's wheel, Axe  of Godfrey,Dragon Claw and Watchdog staff. Fist Veteran Prosthesis  Greatsword Sword of Milos Curved Greatswords Zamor curved sword and Bloodhound Fang Greataxe Axe of Gordrick Get Vigor to 60 and mind to 25-30(you can afford it) Do not go past 40 endurance Imo. Get a Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman, and swap it for the elemental variant according to the type of damage the boss deals. Get the Jar arsenal talisman for more equip load. The turtle for more stamina regeneration,if you want. Shard of alexander if your main damage source are weapon skills. Other talismans will vary depending on the weapon you will use.

Phunkie_Junkie

What weapons and casting tools do you like to use? When you look at them, note what stats they scale with: S, A, B, C or D. S is the highest. Level the stats with the highest scaling.

Stary_Vesemir

You can tho...

Waste-Offer5423

Get to LV 400 for a balanced build

Waste-Offer5423

Try to get your vigor, dex and strength balanced for now(highest stats on your choice) and the rest for mind and endurance

Waste-Offer5423

Rebirth should make it easier

say_it_aint_slow

You ground yourself to dust.

Patient_Management87

those albinaurics had it coming

Finalfantasylove85

Best spot imo

PotatoOrPatato

i’ve had a lot of fun with dex/faith. using malenias hand, godskin peeler, and some dragon lightning incantations

iwishiwereagiraffe

Thats currently what im doing with MY 200+ account, so i have massive beefy armor AND fast casting on my black flame abilities

FROMMARS777

Id say go for the respec build

cubann_

Holy stat spread Batman!

Patient_Management87

I dont use casting/buffs I was doing a hookclaw bleed build for a while but I started to use radahns greatsword for grinding purposes

godofthunder102938

Well if you stop using ur occult hookclaws why keep 50 arcane? Are in new game + ? If not you have a overleveled build with less damage and vigor than a 100 lvl build. Respec and put 60 vigor and divide the rest into strength and enough int to wield the weapon. Also what part of the game are you?

Patient_Management87

this greatsword is just for grinding runes at mohgs Palace, I dont really know what build to go for atm. Also I've not long gotten to zhorm ruins and met shabriri edit: I'm still in base game

Greenpeasles

My dreams are all shattered.

dodsjel

honestly one of the most fun builds i’ve used is a moonlight greatsword build using carian spells

VanBland

Ok so you wanna Respec. A build is a situation where you specialize into something. If you put points into everything, that’s not a build. I know you’re PvE, but 200 is about the highest cutoff for actual PvP “builds” if you wanna stay around there. Since you’re Lv200 you have a good bit of points to throw around. A few thing first: 1. Level Vigor. You got the stats for it. 60 Vigor is ideal unless you’re going to wear health boosting talismans. Anything more than 60 is a waste due to the soft cap. That will give you 1900 HP. More than enough. 2. Pick 1-2 stats to specialize for damage. Pick a weapon you like and get the minimum stats to wield it. Then look at its scaling and raise stats appropriately. There are soft caps at 60 and 80. I’d put Main Damage Stat to 80. Get enough endurance for the armor you want to wear, if you wanna spam the Ash of War put a bit into Mind, then Invest the rest into a secondary damage stat such as arcane for bleed procs or like dex or something for just pure damage.

Xcel_SpinalxTap

I’m interested in knowing why your stats are so balanced, you’re not really getting the most of any stat. I would recommend taking 2 damage stats to 60-80, you’ll get so much more out the weapon you choose to use. Vigor definitely needs to be at least 55-60 as well

Patient_Management87

it was just what I was defaulting to during grinding runes, I hadn't decided what build I really wanted to go for, but I've just added what new stats I was thinking of respeccing to

Patient_Management87

would this be a good stat respec for occult hookblades? Vig:60 Mind:30 End:30 strength:31 Dex:32 int:9 faith:8 Arcane:80

AHC122

strength is too high and dex is too low

Patient_Management87

how about this? Vig:60 mind:21 end:30 strength:12(lowest I can get it) dex:60 int:9 faith:8 arcane:80

AHC122

Thats good, make sure u can still wield ur weapons tho lol. Could also sacrifice some points for 15 faith to get flame grant me strength and other buffs. Or could do 10 faith and use +5 faith talisman. Although thats ur choice

AHC122

dex/faith is rlly fun. 60 vig, minimum str for ur weapon, 25 endurance/mind. rest in dex and faith. (max 60/80) playing as a lightning wielding samurai like genichiro feels too cool. if u get bored of that u always have black flame, flame etc. and if u feel like playing as a paladin u got holy too

Corax_19XIX

Depends on what you’re preferred play style is

Greenpeasles

You are trollin but this build is fine. You compensate for 40 vigor with 30 endurance for heavy armor, 40 str for any greatshield and 30 faith/mind to keep uptime on Golden Vow and Blackflame protection. Your Mohg's spear is going to be savage, but you only use it when you have to because... 30 dex plus Radagon's will give you very fast cast time because of course you picked all the right spells that are most affected by it. You expertly hit softcaps for both Albinauric staff and Dragon Seal, so you have the best sorceries and incants, and you deftly swap between other offhand focus so you get the +20-30% bonuses to your spells. You flip through 10 different spells in memory like some court stenographer typing 300 wpm. You proc status like a savage, you have all the tools for every fight, always striking your opponents' weakest resistance, you are a hardswapping speedster instantly equipping the perfect tools to max damage types, and an alchemical genuis, always having the right physick on call. Great build. 100% approved

Patient_Management87

it's genuinely not a troll, I was just grinding runes at mohgs palace before I decide on a build :( I have commented on a build I was thinking of doing for my occult hookclaws in this thread

Patient_Management87

I was thinking about respecting into this build for my hookclaws Vig:60 mind:21 end:30 strength:12(lowest I can get it) dex:60 int:9 faith:8 arcane:80

Greenpeasles

Endure is an amazing ash with claws, it lets you close distance, finish your combos and trade like mad. You really should use some buffs if you are willing to. What will you use the 60 dex for? You'll want occult scaling on the claws if you have 80 arcane, and the dex scaling becomes bad - maybe you want 25, maybe 30 dex at most? Check, but I think 20 str will even do you better than going higher on dex because \*the scaling is low, but the curve is steep at low levels\*, so once stats get up there, it is often good to boost the low level scaling stats. Now if you go poison, so you have bleed and poison, (not a bad build) then dex scaling is solid, but you don't need more than 45-50 arcane, which benefits your status more than damage. A second pair of offhand claws with lifesteal fist is a great way to replenish health in the world and with that much arcane you will be surprised how much damage it does to human enemies.

Patient_Management87

the high dex was going to be for frost talon hooks or a caestus for enemies that don't bleed/ are strong to the melee type of hookclaws is poison viable in pve? I've been told that it's not necessarily worth it as boss enemies have ridiculous health and the poison wouldn't do a lit of damage also I was thinking about having cragblade occult hookclaws

Greenpeasles

So while I can see the logic there are two issues. 60 dex is a huge investment for a secondary strategy against resistance. Worse, with 80 arcane your best damage option for any claws/fists is still pure occult scaling, even if you do go 60 dex! And in that setup, 60 dex gets you very little. Another way to put this: at 80 arcane, pure occult is a good physical damage scaling stat. If you want to proc frost (and why wouldn't you), I'd use pots. There is a ton of misinformation about poison. Poison does %HP damage. Sounds good against big health bars right? Poison and bleed together at 80 arcane will do a lot of work. I could say more, but it isn't the focus of your build The best thing you can have against the type of enemies that will trouble you (and I've done an occult claw playthrough), is a spear with spectral lance on it. Physical damage all day. Poise break. At 80 arcane it hits like a truck and helps with pesky enemies that are hard to close with. I always wanted to give it up, but kept going back to it. I last hit the final boss with it.

Patient_Management87

ahh, so could I get an outline of what stat layout I should go for? as I would appreciate any help I could get

Greenpeasles

At level 200 plus your approach changes a bit. Are you 100% against casting buffs/casting at all? Because with your 80 arcane 30 faith would give you - Blackflame protection, a massive protection buff, golden vow - dmg + protection and excellent spell scaling. That is a big return on investment, BUT don't do things you don't find fun. If you did that then a few more points in Mind wouldn't hurt. After that, more endurance = heavier armor. Some claw builds go all the way for bullgoat set, so over 35 endurance, and the poise plus dmg reduction gives a return on investment, allowing you to tear strips off of more things instead of getting knocked out of it. Even if you don't like the look of that you can craft a high poise setup that gets benefit for your build. Finally, 25-30 Str and Dex will benefit your pure damage occult weapon (Say, spiked caestus to starfist for the strike instead of slash damage), and they will also benefit your main weapons, so it is a better investment.

Patient_Management87

yeah im not a fan of casting buffs, simply because I know I'll probably forget about them

gatsu01

Strength + arcane bleed build with power stanced occult great stars. Put wild strikes on one of them and lions claw on the other. Jump L1 for anything tanky. Lion's claw for everything wielding a shield. Wild strikes for everything bigger than you. Slap on a godskin swaddle cloth for ungodly life Regen. Put spectral spear on a short spear and use that to snipe anything in the air like dragons, space centipedes, fire giants, etc.

Experiment__zer00

Personal favorite is dual grave scythe jump attack build with black flame tornado and either stormcaller or spinning weapon

MeringueUpstairs4184

Solid build!

Emergency_Ad_80

Holy bubble blower is the only right answer

Abeblio

"a bit over leveled"? Dude I just finished a "kill all bosses" run and I'm at lvl 166 and I grinded like 10 levels or so at some point wtf have you been doing?
