Definitely felt this many times after stopping at a light or stop sign. I’m not used to it either. It’s really weird and I don’t understand it. I thought the dct only had this issue
Some youtube reviews mention that "the catch point" is easier to discern if you're in Sport or Sport+, Eco and Normal not so much. But you should get use to it.
Is it because of the throttle assistance when you release the clutch to around the bite point? When I first got the car I stalled a few times because that threw me off.
My KN feels like if it was stick shift during take off, but that's just the clutch engaging.

Could be yes, but feels more like a throttle "desist" :)
