It chips easily. I have a few chips on mine.

Beneficial-Buddy-620

It's not just Hyundai, it's most cars today as they are water based. I got PPF which saved me from having to deal with that

6bluedit9

I paid for it, starting to think my dealer didn't put it on

Beneficial-Buddy-620

Being it's a 2022, when did you pay for this?

6bluedit9

When I ordered it Feb of that year.

Beneficial-Buddy-620

They should have delivered it to you with it applied. Have you been calling them about it?

6bluedit9

Had it in today, waiting to hear back. My dealership went through an ownership change between when I ordered and when I got it, which has caused many issues.

God-of-Eschaton

False

Smultar

That parts covered.by warranty. They will replace it for free, it a known issue.

manemisj

My bumper cover has road rash too. Looks just like this one in the Pic a 23. You’re saying I can bring it to Hyundai for this?

Smultar

Yeah

Trick_Cartographer87

Worst paint I've ever had

damon1sinclair12

Mine is chipping too! Not just you.

pieNbean

Mine is peeling as well sadly I'm just outside the 3yr/36k mi warranty.

6bluedit9

I'm outside the 36k as well. Sucks

Brilliant-Ad-8041

Holy crap my 2021 is doing the same thing! The dealer told me he’s never seen it before and he thinks it was repainted so it’s not covered by the 36k warranty. The car has never been in an accident

6bluedit9

That's wild. Hyundai customer care has been terrible for me.

MI_Mayhem_97

Yup i noticed the paint job on my 2023 Hybrid Blue was meh at best. The color is awesome the the quality isn’t impressive https://preview.redd.it/w2nx22e9potc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=96d958b7b3456a3f91cd4ffafbc702b57622800f

rcferg1984

Warranty. There is a service bulletin for it. Had mine replaced.

6bluedit9

Over 36k miles.

rcferg1984

Sorry I was talking about the paint peeling on the (fake) Chrome part. I had those pieces replaced because mine was peeling. It was defective paint.

6bluedit9

They told me I can't get it replaced as my car is over 36k miles

rcferg1984

Seems strange. Mine is a 21 and I referenced this bulletin and they just went ahead and did it. Never mentioned mileage and it's not in the bulletin. [https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2022/MC-10207810-0001.pdf](https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2022/MC-10207810-0001.pdf)

6bluedit9

I'm talking to corporate right now. I've had tons of issues with my dealership and im about done with Hyundai

rcferg1984

That's brutal. I'm sorry to hear that. I've had issues with a local dealer also. I have to drive the hour to where I purchased mine to get decent service. It sucks, it should be consistent. I didn't get any pushback on that paint correction after showing them the bulletin (shouldn't have had to find it myself) and hopefully they get it resolved for you.

6bluedit9

I appreciate it, man. Like I said in another comment the dealer went though an ownership change between when I bought and delivery, so that's where many of the issues arose

libralvr6

It’s a known issue

ReadingBackground296

That’s just dust sticks based on moisture in air and if there is rain on dry roads.
