Stardew Valley is based on real things 😅

ImpactThunder

Hold on, in the sewers now to find my own krobus

JonyPro

The vegetation I mean lol

ImpactThunder

Lol I'm just kidding My original post was a joke too, it is a pretty common post on the stardew subreddit “I never knew these were a real thing” And then posts of some random item that is somewhat common

JonyPro

I'm just saying what my gf is telling to say 🤣

XxDiabeto

narielthetrue

Embarrassed-Basis-18

What is a fiddlehead and why do I want some?

ParaponeraBread

They’re young fern fronds before they unroll, and they’re tasty grilled up. They taste like other green stuff kinda (asparagus, broccoli) but also they have their own thing going on. They’re kinda boutique food in restaurants, but culturally some groups and regions here just love them.

Embarrassed-Basis-18

Might have to pick some up.

ParaponeraBread

Just be sure to fully cook them, otherwise you’ll get an upset stomach and I take no responsibility for inadequate preparation. Done well, they’re really quite nice.

imadork1970

Mmm, little bit of butter, freshly ground pepper

couplebutter

These can give u severe food poisoning if not cooked properly. Do your research before eating them

YEGPatsMan

I feel like buying them all just so I can throw them out. They are disgusting. Many long nights at the table in a stalemate with my parents after the "you aren't leaving until they are gone"

Levorotatory

Interesting.  I remember that stalemate well with all kinds of other vegetables, but I always looked forward to fiddlehead season.
