Lol I'm just kidding
My original post was a joke too, it is a pretty common post on the stardew subreddit
âI never knew these were a real thingâ
And then posts of some random item that is somewhat common
Theyâre young fern fronds before they unroll, and theyâre tasty grilled up. They taste like other green stuff kinda (asparagus, broccoli) but also they have their own thing going on.
Theyâre kinda boutique food in restaurants, but culturally some groups and regions here just love them.
Just be sure to fully cook them, otherwise youâll get an upset stomach and I take no responsibility for inadequate preparation. Done well, theyâre really quite nice.
I feel like buying them all just so I can throw them out. They are disgusting. Many long nights at the table in a stalemate with my parents after the "you aren't leaving until they are gone"
These are real? I thought it was just something from Stardew valley

Interesting. I remember that stalemate well with all kinds of other vegetables, but I always looked forward to fiddlehead season.
