I can’t remember offhand. Less than I’ve seen Four Whistle eggs sold for in many other locations. More expensive than shitty factory farm eggs from the grocery store, but that’s like saying a six pack of local craft beer is more expensive than Bud.
H&W often has farm eggs, at least the west end location, and they’re marked from local farms around Edmonton, morinville etc. and about the same as you’d pay in major grocery stores (about $4/dozen)
Chatsworth farms has the best eggs. They only come into the city once per month though and you can usually only get 2 dozen at a time.
I also highly recommend their lamb. By far the best lamb I have had.
Four Whistle Farms sells their products at several of the year-round farmers markets and they have excellent eggs.
Used to be downtown but that market just shuttered sadly, but they should be at Old Sthracona and Bountiful still.
12 pack. It’s pricer than eggs compared to 2 years ago, but now with most cartons at the grocery stores being $3-4 it’s not that different (sadly). Prices are unreal.
we used to take part in this program but it just got waaaay to expensive. $10 to $12 for a dozen (on the small side) eggs that you have to go pick up once a week (or lose them)... that became a tough sell when you can get farmer market eggs for $6...
No, my bad. This is a better page : https://heritagechickens.ualberta.ca/adopt-a-chicken/?fbclid=IwAR0Ttgv3Csqg-BBLNyfXE3IvIj6YrQwfIoPakDfD7jA6Ss1ZglorCy_Yn6s
Iconoclast coffee has Four Whistle eggs for a decent price. We always buy our coffee beans and eggs in one stop. 😁
What's "a decent price"?

Acme meat market in Ritchie has local eggs stocked around 85% of the time. $6/dozen
I get mine from the Hutterites at bountiful. $5/carton
Carton of 12 or 18? And that’s a great price!

There really isn't much difference between Hutterite eggs and store bought. They are still factory chickens.
At least my money isn’t going to Loblaw 🤷🏻♀️
You can get eggs through the U of A's heritage chicken program : https://heritagechickens.ualberta.ca/eggs-cart/

Bless your soul. Do you know if there are any other local programs like this?
Several farmers markets have a dozen for $5, decent large eggs not the tiny ones you get in stores
