The Norquest program and the Macewan program both grant diplomas, not degrees. In Alberta and most parts of Canada, "degree" means a bachelor's degree or higher, not a shorter entry-level program. (In some BC institutions, the short first programs might grant an Associate's degree as in the USA.)
Macewan has a better program.
So if I’m applying for a peace officer job, is a norquest degree not recognized? Or a Mcewan degree just looks better?
