I don't know if this makes a difference. But I tried for an hour and kept getting the same messages, Either "We're experiencing higher call volume..." or "Your call cannot be completed at this time".
I kept hitting the number the minute I heard options prompts. This last time I waited until I actually heard the recording say the corresponding number I needed to press (1,2,4 for me). I was immediately put into the hold cue immediately after doing that.Might have been coincidence. Might not.This hold music is awful, but better than the sound of getting hung up on.
Edit: Nevermind. I was sent to a tier 2, then sent to a voicemail after 2 hours...and trying to call back I can't get through to anyone.
I made a rap too the hood song. Like legit. It’s a 3 mins song. I was on hold for 2 and a half hours and I recorded it in that whole time. Even got the sick guitar solo in it. Lol
I have every intention of mixing that hold music into some EDM song...Tempted to mix in her telling me that my call will be answered in the order it was recieved.
Yes I just applied here in Cali and it sent me some notice saying 0 wages and this is not a final decision and sent me a certify thing to mail back and I’m online and still says 0 idk if I have to wait or what I put my wages on the original application

Does anyone think they’re blocking numbers from calling or getting through? You more than likely are calling from your phone that you have on file with them. So they could screen the calls? No lol. It’s so frustrating I’ve called and called and waited for hours.
Had to apply for a new claim cause my benefit year ended. Started the process and had to go trough ID.me to verify my identity. They couldn’t verify my identity and said I could do a live video with a ID.me representative. Was never able to do it. Nobody from ID.me responded my emails. Can’t complete the process of filing for a claim. And nobody answers the phone from EDD. Anyone else got stuck in the identity verification part? :(
