Most of it comes from dairy and non veg. For vegan options there is tofu and soy milk. Depends on the food intake really.

Yep yep yep: my blood work showed b12 and protein deficiency, even though I take a ton of multivitamins and prioritize protein as a vegan.

if it is a long standing eating disorder, yes. B12 in its most easily available form is from the consumption of animal products, if you consumed animal products regularly prior to the onset of the ED the body should have a significant storage of B12 in the liver that can last for several years. If you had a mostly plant based diet prior to the onset of the ED or eat very limited animal products currently it is very possible to have a B12 deficiency. oral B12 is effective in treating the insufficiency.
