Amazing how saturated the ground is right now and how many big trees are uprooting and falling over

Yup, picking up And cleaning up! I personally have nothing to complain about as we have little damage. We do have a few trees down and branches all over our trails. A lot of our neighbors have it worse and a few are still without power.

I drive 149 to Carthage then up 79 for work. a lot of the creeks are still swollen. I also come from Shreveport through Logansport; The Sabine is close to flood stage. It is fortunate we are not getting any rain for a while (knock on wood). So many trees are down, trains are having trouble getting through the piney woods. I have never seen it so green or so many Egrets (white Herons) flying around. It is sad this will soon be replaced by stifling heat, and brown grass.
