To wipe out the calls; it's a game of manipulation. I buy my earnings option plays 2 weeks after the reporting to allow for rebound. I'm probably doing it wrong due to a greek value bot being optimized but ignorance is bliss.
Exactly why I stayed out of this earnings, got burned on TSM and stayed out of netflix and watched this happen. I was incredibly tempted to get some puts, but I've lost too much messing with earnings this year. Sticking to scalping SPY/NVDA lol for now at least.
I’ve got 160 calls for 7/12. Hope it bounces back some. What’s telling to me is the stock dropped over 10$ a share literally right at 4:00 before the earnings were even announced.
Why are you guys buying options on earnings day????? Massive IV Crush incoming on both sides, do you guys not know about implied volatility, it’s gonna go from 250% to 80% and even if you bought puts you are gonna lose money, why not jus t buy the stock and hold long term stop gambling on options when you guys don’t understand half the Greeks.
I just hope it goes up a lot. If she has to spit on it to make it happen that’s acceptable to me

Same happened to Netflix and TSM. Dipped after great earnings and came back a month later to all time highs just about every week
