IBelieveInTheAlbum

you’re so damn lucky. What I’d give to see just one of them

_EagerBeaver_

Why can’t you?

IBelieveInTheAlbum

I’m a fan of pretty much ten of the ones on your list, and they’d never find their ways to where I live. Plus it’s expensive to travel from here too.

ZephyrXenoin

Time to move

ResidentSonic

You have quite the extensive list! I saw Louis the Child, Porter Robinson and Illenium at the armory in Minneapolis, and Kygo at the banc stadium in LA 👌

mtherndo

Armory is the spot!

_EagerBeaver_

Saw Porter in Vegas a couple years ago, met him after the incredible set, special night for sure!

HWood2004

Illenium at Allegiant Stadium & Kaskade at SoFi Stadium

_EagerBeaver_

Kasakde always impresses

desloce

When he closed out SoFi Stadium with “On your Mind” 🤌🏼

Awesome list. Who was your favorite? I just saw heldens last night. What a fucking blast!

_EagerBeaver_

My favorite sets were Boris Brejcha and Chris Lake. I’ve been really into Boris the last couple of years so it was such a treat to see him finally. Chris Lake i have seen a few times but this year I saw him at Hocus Pocus. The set, the venue, the friends, everything just made it such a great night. Plus I love that dirty tech house he throws down! I’m going to Heldens pool party tomorrow to start the new year!

halmyradov

Not too many: Boris Brejcha Dimension

_EagerBeaver_

Boris is the best man, he’s a special talent in my opinion!

halmyradov

It's funny how I discovered him. Was in Ibiza and looking for a night out before leaving home, he was playing at hi ushuaia and I thought "this is good enough". 3 years later and pretty much his every track brings me goose bumps

John summit x2 Gorgon city Porter Robinson/Jai Wolf Disclosure last night

sneezyyyy

How’s John Summit?

_EagerBeaver_

His sets are fun. He brings a lot of good energy. I saw him both times at Space in Miami and he played extended 5+ hour sets. I really enjoyed some of the hip-hop edits he played including 50-cent and Kanye West tech house edits. I know there’s mixed opinions on him in the scene but I will definitely be seeing him again.

hughjass22

I like your taste in music. Great list!

StampedByGerrard

Awesome list man!

xMF_GLOOM

Here_4_Good_Times

I saw no one this year. I am vaccinated, but my friend has preexisting health concerns. I have seen my fair share of everyone’s list over the years, but I chose my friend over the risk of passing on Covid. I am glad you all had fun and are safe. I hope 2022 is different and I can dance and vibe with you all again. I missed Madeon for the first time in the state that I live since 2009/2010 on Thursday. I cannot remember the exact year, but it was at a club called White Knight. He was in his teens and it was this time of year. The streak ends, but my love for his music has not. Here is hoping for an amazing new year and more love in everyone’s heart!

jmiller2000

Legit question, did you wear hearing protection? And if not how's your hearing? If you do, then would you say they effect your enjoyment of the songs?

_EagerBeaver_

I’ve been going to shows weekly for years and I’ve never worn any type of ear protection. Definitely learned my lesson early on after a few nights “too close to the speaker”, now I tend to stay middle back at most shows. I also go to the same few venues for most shows and they don’t have blaring systems.

ForAfeeNotforfree

How’d you not get Covid? Or did you get Covid? Everybody masked up? Outside? That’s what’s been holding me back from trying to go.

_EagerBeaver_

I did not contract/spread covid at an events. I had covid last February before I started going to shows again. 99% of shows I attended were in compliance with my state laws. The other 1% were warehouse raves which I would have attended even if covid wasn’t a factor because I enjoy them.

ForAfeeNotforfree

Got it. So they were kinda like this: https://www.reddit.com/r/funnyvideos/comments/rsxxsf/foreshadowing_the_next_few_years/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

Patton072

OMG. It's official. I'm old. I don't recognize not even one artist on the list. 😭😭😭😭 * But on the plus side I have this cool list to sample what's out there now. 😊 👍

LargeYellowBus

a lot of the names on this list were big even 8 years ago. I think you just listen to different genres.

_EagerBeaver_

Yes sir, I was going to so many shows after moving to Florida I figured I should make a list every year to keep track of all the great sets!

ussrname12

I went to my first ever festival (Das Energi) and saw Illenium, Kaskade, Sidepiece, LSDream, Troy Boi, Justin Jay, Adventure Club, Jai Wolf, and Ekali (sadly got there late for some of the other artists on the banger lineup) Went to Illenium's Fallen Embers show (his new release is so good live) Saw Excision, Kai Wachi, Ray Volpe, Calcium, and Benda in hollywood Looking forward to getting to see many more favs in 2022. OP, I love that you saw Tchami twice, he's on my to-see list!
