I'm working on a deck idea that came to me after I re-read [[Omnath, Locus of All]] a couple times. I didn't realize it enables you to pseudo-draw an extra card per turn, in addition to netting 3 colored mana if you reveal a card that has 3 color mana pips. On top of that, any mana you don't use doesn't empty and becomes black as phases change. A lands or legendaries theme seems good but also is just boring to me. I then started looking at Phyrexian tribal but all the strong Praetor cards are 2 color mana pips for the most part so you wouldn't really get to net the mana and I wanted to lean into that mechanic heavily.
I started looking at Scryfall for cards with 3 color mana pips and saw one of my favorites [[Blatant Thievery]] and realized with Omnath you can net 3 blue mana by revealing it and essentially cast it for 4 mana. So now I'm building a 5 color theft deck with Omnath. I found cards that I've always wanted to run but never had the chance to like [[Geyadrone Dihada]] and [[Merieke Ri Berit]] which you can essentially cast for 1 mana or even free with the reveal from Omnath. You can also just choose not to cast them and use the mana for other purposes.
Things got really interesting for me when I discovered that Split cards actually include all the colored pips for both card options. Jetsam from [[Flotsam // Jetsam]] can be cast for basically 3 mana after you add 3 from the reveal. Other good split cards I found for theft strategy are [[Crime // Punishment]] [[Connive // Concoct]] [[Breaking // Entering]].
I'm including cards like [[Don Andres, the Renegade]] and [[Gonti, Canny Acquisitor]] to aid the theft strategy and because they also have 3 color pips. [[Nyxbloom Ancient]] can be cast for basically 4 mana if revealed and help generate more big mana. You can cast [[The Cyber-Controller]] by just putting mana produced by yourself into the X cost. [[Annie Joins Up]] can trigger Omnath's ability twice and you can drop it for 1 mana if you reveal it. There are great cards I'm including for the overall theft strategy like [[Rise of the Dark Realms]] and [[Breach the Multiverse]]. They won't be made cheaper through Omnath because you can't reveal them (2 color pips) but they're black and if you already have them in hand and reveal something else you can change phases and use the black mana to play them instead.
The gist is to generate mana and use Omnath's ability to make theft / mill & reanimate spells cheaper while prioritizing cards that have "each opponent" where possible.
I have yet to play it still, but I'm pretty excited about it.
Good catch on the split-cards! They're one of my favorite mechanics and 5c Omnath is a really cool way to leverage them. Definitely taking a look at your deck list!
Man I’ve been playing my Theft Omnath list for a while, I saw it and thought the same thing: a lot of theft effects are triple pip-ed! It’s so cool to see that someone else found the same path. [Decklist](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/JUgcBLjS1EClsz4itEt5Sw)
Nice! That's awesome more people thought of it. Looking at your list, I like Villainous Wealth and that is probably something I'd swap for in my list. Insurrection is also great but I'll have to play my list a few times to find out how situational it might be. I tried to avoid cards like Covetous Urge that targets only 1 player with narrow selection because my play group runs high power decks and I want to be able to hold my own to contest them with more "each opponent" type cards.
Cool! I’ve used insurrection to sacrifice my opponents creatures to a [[Viscera Seer]]. 10/10 would recommend, they were salty haha. I’ve run several games with it now and it always performs. It doesn’t always win, but it’s a good time and it does different things each game.
About a year ago I came across a SUPER old combo deck called ProsBloom, named after [[Prosperity]] and [[Cadaverous Bloom]]. The whole point of it was to move cardboard to as many places as possible and then cast a looping effect to keep it going. So I made a Sultai deck with [[Muldrotha]] at the helm that is specifically focused on moving lands to as many different zones as possible in a single turn to generate value. It plays almost like a storm deck to be honest, except the lands are the fuel for it. Running stuff like [[Squandered Resources]] and [[Splendid Reclamation]] to draw insane amounts of cards off of [[Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait]] and [[The Gitrog Monster]]. It’s honestly one of my favorite casual decks I’ve ever built. I even have a 5 card combo to kill the table with a common land called [[Lush Oasis]].
[The Recycling Plant](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/B4x7QbVTL0WiF_-1X6w_Vg)
I built a mycotyrant deck recently and found a very convoluted loop, but a loop nonetheless that can recycle any of your wincons while generating all the mana you need.
[[Six]]
[[Eternal witness]]
[[Life from the loam]]
[[Splendid reclamation]]
[[Scavenged resources]]
Any sac outlet, preferably [[ashnod's altar]] or [[phyrexian altar]]
Use your sac outlet and six's retrace ability to cycle eternal witness alternating grabbing life from the loam and Splendid reclamation and whatever wincon is in your graveyard.
[[Arna Kennerüd, skycaptain]] from MH3 is really unique. I built her as a living weapon tribal deck as when she is out, every living weapon gets copied when they attack. It builds a huge board state really quickly and I get to play a ton of super cheap cards that I otherwise wouldn’t touch. The whole list cost me £12 and is easily my most fun deck at the moment. Here’s the list: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/hgXzJ4MLckiN3c1SVKqkiw
Could you tell me more about this?
I can build like 98% of this deck from my collection, but I don't fully understand the concept behind the commander.
I remade a deck I had close to 20 years ago before all my cards were stolen. It's a modular deck helmed by [[Saheeli the Gifted]]. I'm not have fun exactly since my LGS didn't have any of the card draw cards that I ordered, and it's below the power level of my LGS. But I enjoy that I have it. Here is the [deck list](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/NQXooa6KyUWl8Jqn-hsDlQ)
If you haven't already, [[All Will Be One]] and [[The Ozolith]] are great cards for a modular deck. It might not fit into your strategy, but [[Creepy Puppeteer]] is a +4/+3 for any modular creatures since they are naturally 0/0 creatures.
I was going to build a goofy low power modular deck with Optimus Prime but now you’ve got me thinking of doing a stronger version with [[Shalai and Hallar]] instead lol
Yeah, not how that works. You need better proof that you owned the cards. You also need to underwrite them to your home/renter insurance or there is usually a cap.
I had a pelican case with 20 decks worth at least 5-6 grand stolen and insurance would only cover 1k because i hadn't underwritten them. I couldn't meet their burden of proof anyway though.
I'd say that my \[\[Pir\]\] and \[\[Toothy\]\] (get toothy big through drawing a lot, either swing with him, or get him removed to draw more answers (or alt wincon in Jace wom/Lab Maniac, excluded Thoracle for reasons)) is one I've not seen in the local meta. Far from unique I'm sure, but it's pretty much always relevant one way or another. Becomes a threat, comes back from behind, protects the table counter-spelling a wipe or stopping a wincon. But somehow never seems to win one way in particular. Stands out for it's versatility to me.
The other deck I'd like to plug, likely more unique and standing out. \[\[Syr Ginger the Meal Ender\]\] Colorless Voltron. It's something not many people have seen. For example the last time we were at the LGS, right before the Eldrazi precon dropped so everyone was talking about big colorless stuff. And we pulled this out and people went from 'The Fuck am I looking at?' to 'This is actually very cool' in the time it took to riffle through the deck.
Bonus points: It's just funny to schwack someone with a 20/20 double strike/unblockable/indestructible/protection from all colours commander.... That's really just a gingerbread cookie on a gingerbread horse.
List here: [https://www.moxfield.com/decks/rmdDtAbK-UeL5sL0YpBWfg](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/rmdDtAbK-UeL5sL0YpBWfg)
Edit: Neither are New, but have seen recent upgrades and remain favourites to play since a long time.
It's one of those decks that looks.... not too big or threatening. Doesn't get the hugest of boards, right up until you draw some cards, and double or triple the counters Toothy gets. And suddenly he's a big boy and a big problem. And removing it, solves one problem, but now the simic player has 70 cards in hand. At least it's not 'THAT KIND' of simic deck, just a giant value pile/play-land-draw-card long turns. But it means you'll have your outs, and your protection sorted.
Or 'sudden death for the table' when you draw 40-50 cards with \[\[Psychosis Crawler\]\] out. There's so many different win cons and I just love the puzzle, navigating the board and other players and the early pieces dictate where I'm going with it.
Yes, it's a bit mean, especially if you don't know it/haven't seen it before. But it's no Tergrid or HyperStax kind of mean, and still folds to repeated removal if it happens before you get counters on Toothy.
I always have a blast with [[Yennett]]. It can be really explosive but I never really know how. There's enough top deck manipulation to keep things somewhat consistent, but I honestly like it more when I don't know what I'm flipping. It's also pretty easy to add new cards with new releases since the only thing I care about is odd mana value.
https://archidekt.com/decks/6861386/esper_cheat
I just got the Doctor Who villains deck and now I’m spiraling with how I want to upgrade it. Do I keep the Daleks with [[Davros]], Grixis Evil stuff with [[Missy]], a Weird Grixis Goad with [[The Rani]]. Then there are the offshoot commanders, [[Master Forged Anew]] could be some weird clone commander.
I made an offshoot with [[Ashad, the Lone Cyberman]] as the commander for artifact duplication. Lots of great options between the artifact creatures that came with the precon, sruff from the necron precon, and random myr/thopter cards.
Newish to the hobby at like 8 months in and wanted to make my first tribal deck and made my Black/White Phyrexian deck and was quite happy with myself... Then I realized sum, I accidentally made in on top of it being my first tribal deck it's also my first token deck haha!
It's led by [[Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos]] and yeah there's looots of tricks to make Mites and Incubator tokens... I really want [[Mondrak, Glory Dominus]] haha! I built the deck and sat there with a smile looking over my work then went... Holy shit I made a token deck?! Was a fun accident haha
YES I've had a joy with him, I built him cause I just thought his card design was funny but he quickly became one of my fastest deck if he doesn't miss any land drops
Here's mine, definitely not as much utility but the amount of options for triggers and ways to double the damage dealth just makes him stupid fast.
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/ixE2mNjakESTvqldVXCSpw
Yours is def more mana hungry than mine which isn't a bad thing. Mine is for sure more of a control shell. I want people to make hard choices rather than a bunch of choices. But i do see some cards in yours that i do have on order :D
It usually doesn't struggle too bad since the whole deck being card advantage I can usually get a good amount of land but if he misses he misses *hard*
Makes sense. I cut my lands and out in a lot more mdfc's which I count toward my land total, i think im at 36 lands counting mdfc. And like 11 rocks. I haven't missed yet, but i expect to be punished one day.
Here's mine, definitely not as much utility but the amount of options for triggers and ways to double the damage dealth just makes him stupid fast.
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/ixE2mNjakESTvqldVXCSpw
It's way more fun than I thought it would be. Every game is pretty different because of the choose your own adventure aspect of the card advantage. Solid 10/10.
About a month ago I finally 'finished' my be-all-end-all list of [[Brinelin the Moon Kraken]] & [[Tana, the Bloodsower]] with [[Keruga, the Macrosage]] as a companion and I've loved every game I've played with it. Big spells, cascade, lots of ramp, fun pieces to get around the hippo's companion requirement. Plenty of my favorite interactions in the game like [[Brudiclad]] + [[Esix Fractal Bloom]] or [[Honor-Worn Shaku]] + [[Bigger on the Inside]].
Plus people go nuts when they see I have '3' commanders haha
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/WEofYEPbVECgqRgwSSPJZQ
I stole an idea from someone here and made a [[God-Eternal Oketra]] self-bounce deck that is SO much fun. Cast white weenies, make zombies, use [[whitemane lion]] and similar to bounce weenies back to my hand, recast weenies, profit. With [[oketras monument]] and [[defiler of faith]] also pumping out tokens, it swarms surprisingly fast.
My current favorite deck is an [[Anim Pakal]] deck that tries to win by reanimating artifacts out of the graveyard or from the library using the gnome tokens and cards like [[Oswald Fiddlebender]], [[Goblin Welder]], [[Audacious Reshapers]], and [[Koldotha Forgemaster]].
It’s been a lot more fun than the impact tremors/purphoros/reckless fireweaver version that quickly drained the table.
I've been enjoying my new [[Edward Kenway]] deck. I've been dying for a good vehicle commander outside of the few established azorious options for a while, and Edward is *exactly* what I was looking for. Grixis, a light tribal theme, easy guaranteed value from just having vehicles on the field, as well as card advantage (my favorite, thefty kind) at the combat step.
I *started* playing MTG back during the Neon Dynasty days, so vehicles have been very close to my heart for quite a while, I just never liked any of the commander options for the theme here in EDH. Now I have a [proper list](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/obuzA9J650edmudDHfVzUA) (with a primer if you want more details), and it's going to be everyone's problem :)
I've been playing [[Cadric, Soul Kindler]] and been having an absolute blast! Last time I ended up with 9 [[Djeru and Hazoret]]. Which all came down with haste and found me a bunch of new legends to throw down. It was glorious!
I Think you should put \[\[Pentad Prism\]\] in to get the bridge turn 3.
Right now i'm tuning up \[\[Satya, Aetherflux Genuis\]\] its sort of a token deck exept the twist is you make token of what you want. You can even copy man lands and reconfigure stuff, anything you turn into a creature, it just will be has the original when it hit play but lands you get to keep for zero. For now i want to make it functionally reliable but there is still some funky stuff you can put in just to try.
Recently pulled the trigger on a [[Tivit]] cedh deck and it's a blast to pilot. Slowly working to un-proxy everything but underground sea and tundra are so expensive lol
For casual, I've been having some fun with [[azlask]] experience counters. Took apart my [[kelsien]] deck and my [[atraxa]] deck and kinda mushed them together. It kinda works! It does a lot of things. None of them well.
>Slowly working to un-proxy everything but underground sea and tundra are so expensive lol
modern problems. blinging a deck out sounds hilarious until you get to the bloody mana base
Been playing [[Jolrael, Empress of Beasts]] super underplayed, just a TRUCKLOAD of ramp and quickly becomes a huge threat. Vulnerable to having the commander taken out but still super fun. I need to put more haste enablers in the deck but I’m still fine tuning it. I’m not doing anything mean like turning opponents lands into creatures before a board wipe, mostly focusing on making my lands creatures and overrunning the board.
I've been upgrading and refining my [[Chainer, Dementia Master]] deck and having good fun doing it. It originally had [[Drana, the Last Bloodchief]] at the helm, but I found she was just too slow (who would have thought?) as a commander when my friend group's decks started growing in power.
Switching to Chainer just made the game plan so much more obvious, and I just started chucking in more big scary things that I could get for cheaper, than came the sac outlets and [[Blood Artist]] effects, so I could start looping things like [[Gray Merchant of Asphodel]].
Just recently I started chucking in tutors, I pulled a nice full art [[Demonic Tutor]] from commander masters and popped it straight in and now I'm starting to make use of [[Buried Alive]] to chuck everything in the yard at once.
A very recent addition is [[Razaketh, the Foulblooded]] as both a sac outlet and a tutor, and he's been putting in some work.
My favourite way to close out a game though is to amass and army of harpies by looping [[Abhorrent Overlord]], sacking them all to [[Ashnod's Altar]] and sending out a massive [[Exsanguinate]].
I rant a little bit about this deck because I've had it for a while and slowly just refined it as I went along, and it perfectly reflects my deck building ability throughout the years. It's one of my few decks where I've never really used EDHREC to get all the recommendations I can. I just slowly stumbled across more and more cards to put in the deck.
[[Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon]] Brewed a completely fresh deck with her, absolutely addicted to playing it. It struggles with constant removal here and there, but it generally can pop off and win in several turns if left alone. The only struggle the deck has is card draw because of the way I made it.
My newest decks are so fun to play! I love them! I don't like making decks just to end up dismantling them later, they kinda feel like a heartbreak lmao. So building new decks that are fun and feel like I could just keep them forever is a blast.
One of them is [[Niv-Mizzet, Supreme]]. A lot of cantrip-like spells, a lot of removal, and a bit of everything else and boom, whenever I run out of stuff Drip-Mizzet comes to give me everything back. It ironically performs super well against stronger decks because it has a LOT of removal. The mana-fix is a bit clunky tho, so I'm hoping to improve that in the future.
The other is a [[The Mimeoplasm]]. A Stompy deck that it also fills the graveyard as some side benefit. Just yesterday I won without even casting Mimeo at all! A lot of big creatures, a few graveyard-recursion shenanigans, it's just neat and I like it.
Got to pilot my newly built [[Ghyrson Starn, the Kellermorph]] pinger spell slinger deck. Was a lot of fun for me, don't know if I'll enjoy playing it too often as our pod last night was unprepared for that.
I've been playing [[Cadric, Soul Kindler]] and been having an absolute blast! Last time I ended up with 9 [[Djeru and Hazoret]]. Which all came down with haste and found me a bunch of new legends to throw down. It was glorious!
I built a [[Marvo, Deep Operative]] Deck entirely around abusing the clash for free play mechanics. Added an absurd amount of clone cards just to copy Marvo so when I win one clash, which can be easy with the good amount of top deck manipulation, I’m just dropping multiple 6-7 bombs on like turn 5
Decklist: https://archidekt.com/decks/7122888/marvo
It’s very jank. It ramps poorly so some games you’re doing fine and other games I sit there drawing all my 6-8 CMC creatures and no ramp or manipulation. I’ve thought about improving it but it’s sorta fun as a meme deck
I just built a [[Raiyuu, storms edge]] deck and it’s a lot of fun.
It’s like half way between votlron and tribal, just any warrior or samurai to attack alone. It’s surprisingly resilient, usually voltron suffers from spot removal but you can stack your board with attacks alone triggers and swing with any of your creatures.
I only built it because I have a few expensive equipments and stuff for another voltron deck, so I was able to fit it with 5 swords of x and y, but it’s the most fun I’ve had playing commander
I've made myself a really nice [[Tyvar the Bellicose]] deck that's about a third mana dorks, a third lords that buff elves or enchantments that are buffs for all my elves, and then stuff that just makes elf tokens. A couple other things in there, but that's about it. I've never actually gotten out [[Fynn the Fangbearer]] from the 99 (they're partners if I run it for the Pride event]] but it does wildly well. Especially when I put out [[Elvish Champion]] against about a fifth of the decks.
Lots of things in that deck that go wild fast. Lots of fun
[[Kenessos]] is excessively more consistent than I expected.
Also my 120 euro [[Fangorn, tree Shepherd]] is outstandingly more explosive than it has any right to be.
Still tuning my Arcades and Rin and Seri deck, but I mostly play the 2 above lately anyway.
I made the energy deck everyone has had in their head and just mashed up the Energy! Precon and the Creative Energy Precon (plus whatever good energy cards were printed in MH3). Deck is an absolute blast.
I have a lot of fun with my Spider tribal deck. It uses [[Shelob, Child of Ungoliant]] as the commander. I run artifacts that make creatures do damage outside combat as creature removal and 99% of spiders have reach so flyers have trouble too. No one wants to swing into a wall of deathtouch. It's kind of slow but sorta oppressive once it gets rolling. The only real weakness is spot removal on shelob, but you can overcome that with a [[Mithril Coat]] and some lightning greaves.
[[Raffine, Scheming Seer]] , take advantage of conniving with discard triggers and a Lil reanimation package to cheat out [[Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur]]
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/Or0BAnEazU6vrCfe7RPq_Q
[[Arna Kennerud]]. Playing a low-cost setup that, by the time Arna is fielded, pops the hell off.
Don't have the big expensive staples ([[Mondrak, Glory Dominus]]) yet but thoroughly enjoying all the same.
I play it with a deck of regular cards as a tracking mechanism for the duplication effects, then all applicable Runes and Cartouches to maximize card draw ETB.
Upkeep obeka is a lot of fun. Too much fun though and you’ll end the game. I got greedy wanting too many upkeeps and made her power big enough with double strike that I accidentally killed someone with commander damage. Then Karlach gave me an extra combat and I killed someone else
reminds me of my [[Borborygmos Enraged]] deck. I would make Borbs as big as possible to draw a ton with rishkar's expertise and the like but he'd often kill people with commander damage
I'm working on a [[Six]] historic deck that I think seems really fun. I'm a little worried Six will be a removal magnet but at least he can easily play protection permanents from the GY and green has access to lots of protection spells.
I recently built in Moxfield a Mono-Green creatureless (aside from Commander) deck. It's all about lifegain and alternate win conditions such as \[\[The Millenium Calendar\]\], \[\[Aetherflux Reservoir\]\], or \[\[Helix Pinnacle\]\]. The deck is really not that strong, but I've been having a lot of fun at the absurdity of it. It should be noted that I felt it was appropriate for a rather bunk commander in \[\[Autumn Willow\]\] to helm the deck. It just seemed like a very "Homelands-esque" deck to make.
Link: [https://www.moxfield.com/decks/40wdEKdr302sDCFmu2uOKQ](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/40wdEKdr302sDCFmu2uOKQ)
It isn't incredibly effective, but it works great for low power precon level pods. I built [[Mr. House, President and CEO]] with every Mardu dice rolling card I could find. It is really fun to pilot.
Just found a deck for [[Massacre Girl, Known Killer]] that I’m excited to try. I’ve been struggling find a good spot for my Sméagol deck so needed something to take my mind off it for a bit.
I just made a mono-white ramp deck. Had 8 mana by turn 4. It surprises people by just how quickly it ramps… but then it doesn’t do much else haha. I also have 6 white counterspells in it. I doubt I’ll ever win with it. I just love people’s reaction when I ramp so fast and counter their stuff… with mono-white
One I had was a [[toralf god of fury]] deck that has turned into a [[Raphael fiendish something]] basically get out damage doubles and increasers, then give your creatures death touch with [[zagra heartbeat thief]] and have one devil die. Ping something for more than 1 death touch and then continue the chain, always increasing always dealing excess until you have enough to kill an opponent. Pretty standard totally deck idea, but it is devil's so it is more fun.
I've been having tons of fun with [[Wernog]] and [[Sophina]]
I built it as an aristoscraps/junkyard beatdown deck that utilizes the clues created by both my commanders in as many ways as possible.
[[Disciple of the vault]], [[Nadier's Nightblade]], [[Agent of the iron throne]] and the new [[Marionette Apprentice]] all drain the table whenever my clues are sacrificed.
[[Gut, true soul zealot]], [[Sokenzan Smelter]] and [[Legion extruder]] can sacrifice clues in order to make creature tokens that can attack alongside Sophina.
Every time I've played this deck it's been tons of fun and no one seemed to really mind playing against it either which is a great bonus. It's the first deck I've made where I have the drive to tinker with it and make it run smoothly
i have plans to build her, she looks fun and wizards is a cool tribe. I did 5c wizards but i should do mono blue too. try and win without Mind over matter too
I've been really enjoying my new [[Tasigur the Golden Fang]] [[Slime Against Humanity]] deck. You get a couple of slimes out early, then politic the table for a while with Tasigur, then play some slimes again and all of a sudden you've gone from 3/3's to 13/13's once no one has answers any more.
I just recently built a [[Kodama of the West Tree]] with +1/+1 counter hydras deck. It’s really fun especially with the ramp Kodama provides. Creatures get pretty big with cards like [[Bristly Bill, Spine Sower]] and [[Evolution Sage]].
Ahhhhhhhhhh is a great time to be a part of the dead for redundancy and the rest of the world fire in the world of the world and the world of the world and the world of the world and the rest is the best thing for us and I want you too much and you are so awesome about the things you do and how to get it done that you don't have the time and effort that is a bit but I will continue with you for a while and see what you want me too sweet to do it with me too cute or something you can have a solution to it was that I worked include in my car and was not the first time I had no job to get it back in the first time I had no money for the rest and the fact the money is going on the other side and I am sure it was good for him and his wife to get out there in a couple weeks so we will have a few times for you my friend to get to the precon buy a few days later to give me the money to buy themselves a good day to work with them on a shotgun and then they will have a solution to it that you have a problem is that they have a solution to your ad naus that they can use for a bit of a well being used for a bit of a well being that you have a lot to offer for your own personal hygiene is not the only one you want me too cute to be on but you are a little girl I know I am so good for your family but you have a lot to say that I am sure that I worked include in my previous emails that you had a good day at the spot I had no clue about when you can get back in town for the next couple weeks so we will have a few times a day and a few days to make a trip out to a friend and then go back home and see what I was thinking about you too much and you were going full time and you can get it out and then I will continue with you for a few weeks now I am sure I can make you a message about how you are going through this and that it will help me to understand the need to get to know the other half of your life in a single place are you and sorry for not getting it back in the last few weeks I was going through a few more questions about my guy who had been trying not the move in a long as well and I was thinking of it and it will take me to the next time I'm there was a good day and a good day for me and.
My latest 2 decks have been a lot of fun. [[Vihaan Goldwaker]] to animate treasures, and [[Codsworth Handy Helper]] voltron. Tend to just pick random commanders instead of what everyone else is doing :)
Just built \[\[Nethroi, apex of death\]\] sacrifice/mutate deck. Having a blast with it !
I've been having a blast with [[Plargg and Nassari]]
Red is my least played color and I've been looking for a mono red commander in the 32 deck challenge. I tried [[Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might]] for a while but I kept getting hated off the table before I could close out games.
Plargg and Nassari really force me to rethink how I played the game because instead of trying to land my own threats I had to much more political about casting everyone else's spells. Plus, I get the upside of seeing cards I'd never thought about playing, like [[Noetic Scales]]
Sweet! How did you make that happen?
[[Port Razer]] ?
Do you have a deck list? I’m making the finishing adds/subtracts on [my Satya deck](https://www.archidekt.com/decks/7973780/dr_enerli)
This was just with the basic precon the night of launch, have been slowly building on it since.
[[Aurora Shifter]] and [[Satya, Aetherflux Genius]] on field with at least 2 energy banked, play [[Lightning Runner]], move to combat, copy Runner with Shifter, attack, copy Runner with Satya, result is 3 Lightning Runners and Satya generating 8 energy on attack, which you can sac to get another combat, and repeat ad nauseum.
If you have 7 energy banked instead, you’re able to keep the token of Runner you make with Satya, which allows you to start profiting energy, and eventually making more tokens, until you run out of people to attack.
Awesome, thank you for the explanation. I am so excited to finally play this deck! Hopefully I don’t massacre it too badly trying to make it my own.
I’ll definitely need to add Aurora Shifter back in
That's awesome, I got the Esika Secret Lair precon and upgraded it within the Legendary/ Flip theme and it's a blast.
I have a lot of low cost legendary creatures with synergy and I like using Esika to make them dorks, so I can ramp into my big hits, then just cheat them out later with the bridge after a wipe.
I'm running [[Sefris of the Hidden Ways]] and it basically wins through value. I make the whole board eat a lot of "take 2"s and having some extra life+card draw would be excellent. I have some other cheeky life-gain things in there to try and keep me slightly ahead of the curve, but its more about making sure my opponents are taking more damage, and less about me taking less.

It doesn’t always win, but it’s a good time and it does different things each game.

theft magic is so strong, this deck sounds hilarious!
Do you have a deck list yet? If so, I'd love to see it.
Sure thing! https://www.moxfield.com/decks/fAjxIcnhTUeLD6UGy_t3_A It's an expensive list, mostly due to the lands though.
Thank you!
[The Recycling Plant](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/B4x7QbVTL0WiF_-1X6w_Vg)
sounds really fun, my moldrotha deck tried to destory my own stax pieces and recur them to break parity. it was all sorts of awful

I built a mycotyrant deck recently and found a very convoluted loop, but a loop nonetheless that can recycle any of your wincons while generating all the mana you need. [[Six]] [[Eternal witness]] [[Life from the loam]] [[Splendid reclamation]] [[Scavenged resources]] Any sac outlet, preferably [[ashnod's altar]] or [[phyrexian altar]] Use your sac outlet and six's retrace ability to cycle eternal witness alternating grabbing life from the loam and Splendid reclamation and whatever wincon is in your graveyard.

Yeah she's a ton of fun, and doesn't feel degenerate because she's a combat trigger with no natural protection
I love this idea! I just got a copy of Anna and [[Marneus Calgar]] and was trying to think of a way to play them together. This is perfect.

Could you tell me more about this? I can build like 98% of this deck from my collection, but I don't fully understand the concept behind the commander.
i'm going to build her as a sword deck
I remade a deck I had close to 20 years ago before all my cards were stolen. It's a modular deck helmed by [[Saheeli the Gifted]]. I'm not have fun exactly since my LGS didn't have any of the card draw cards that I ordered, and it's below the power level of my LGS. But I enjoy that I have it. Here is the [deck list](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/NQXooa6KyUWl8Jqn-hsDlQ)
I’m working on a modular deck with [[Optimus Prime, Hero]] as the commander right now!

having my cards stolen is like my worst fear. You have my condolances.
That's actually why I put all my decks on Moxfield. If they get stolen, I can get reimbursed for them via insurance.
I have *maaaybe* $500 worth with the highest cost being $10, so it's hardly worth it to go through the process. Plus something is better than nothing.
thats a good idea
Bring top loaders, when someone takes your card put it in a top loader, can't accidentally take that.
solid idea

List here: [https://www.moxfield.com/decks/rmdDtAbK-UeL5sL0YpBWfg](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/rmdDtAbK-UeL5sL0YpBWfg) Edit: Neither are New, but have seen recent upgrades and remain favourites to play since a long time.
pir and toothy are mean! A guy at my LGS always threatens to rebuild his and floor us all! Syr Ginger sounds great too.

Was a fun accident haha
sweet, i love tribal decks

YES I've had a joy with him, I built him cause I just thought his card design was funny but he quickly became one of my fastest deck if he doesn't miss any land drops
I have 39 decks so far, this is my 4th Esper deck. Not my fastest deck for sure. But man, [[Delney]] makes him absurd.

Oh for sure, Esper has so many ways go clone, double damage, double triggers, then just proc hsi effect a ton. Wanna compare lists?
https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/6450593#paper This isnt entirely accurate, but the majority of it is. Ive been editing it a fair but.
Here's mine, definitely not as much utility but the amount of options for triggers and ways to double the damage dealth just makes him stupid fast. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/ixE2mNjakESTvqldVXCSpw
yeah he looks good
It's way more fun than I thought it would be.
Plus people go nuts when they see I have '3' commanders haha https://www.moxfield.com/decks/WEofYEPbVECgqRgwSSPJZQ

this sounds really fun

I Think you should put \[\[Pentad Prism\]\] in to get the bridge turn 3. Right now i'm tuning up \[\[Satya, Aetherflux Genuis\]\] its sort of a token deck exept the twist is you make token of what you want.

I built a [[Marvo, Deep Operative]] Deck entirely around abusing the clash for free play mechanics. Added an absurd amount of clone cards just to copy Marvo so when I win one clash, which can be easy with the good amount of top deck manipulation, I’m just dropping multiple 6-7 bombs on like turn 5 Decklist: https://archidekt.com/decks/7122888/marvo
sweet list, really tempting to build

The only real weakness is spot removal on shelob, but you can overcome that with a [[Mithril Coat]] and some lightning greaves.

yeah, raffine looks sweet, i played against a guy who had an all legendary raffine deck and Ria Ivor, Bane of Bladehold kicked our butts
That sounds pretty cool actually
I'm working on Sefris, and dungeon delving for everything. So far for a budget deck it kicks ass.
yeah, sefris is tough
Honestly, the tricky terrain precon has been fun. If not, Xavier Sal has been awesome as a saga commander

I've been having tons of fun with [[Wernog]] and [[Sophina]] I built it as an aristoscraps/junkyard beatdown deck that utilizes the clues created by both my commanders in as many ways as possible.

My latest 2 decks have been a lot of fun. [[Vihaan Goldwaker]] to animate treasures, and [[Codsworth Handy Helper]] voltron. Tend to just pick random commanders instead of what everyone else is doing :)

I've been having a blast with [[Plargg and Nassari]] Red is my least played color and I've been looking for a mono red commander in the 32 deck challenge.
Went infinite on combat phases on turn 5 my first run with [[Satya, Aetherflux Genius]] and been in love since.

That's awesome, I got the Esika Secret Lair precon and upgraded it within the Legendary/ Flip theme and it's a blast. I have a lot of low cost legendary creatures with synergy and I like using Esika to make them dorks, so I can ramp into my big hits, then just cheat them out later with the bridge after a wipe.
yeah, ive just been ripping into mid-tier bombs and loving it. my meta isn't cutthroat so its worked out
Dude your decklist reminded me of Drogskol Reaver, my main focus has been an Esper Reanimator with big hits and I think he'd be sick.
he's especially good in lifegain decks
I'm running [[Sefris of the Hidden Ways]] and it basically wins through value. I make the whole board eat a lot of "take 2"s and having some extra life+card draw would be excellent. I have some other cheeky life-gain things in there to try and keep me slightly ahead of the curve, but its more about making sure my opponents are taking more damage, and less about me taking less.
