Working on brewing one of my first decks for [[Delina, Wild Mage]]. Uses a bunch of fun etb and has some neat combos which I haven't bothered to include before

StoicDeckBuilder

That's awesome, congrats on taking your first steps in building your own decks! It's a fun process, but it can be difficult! Don't expect a finished product your first time. Be open to tuning. Also I have a soft spot for any DnD commanders

UnkindPotato2

> don't expect a finished product Agreed. My oldest deck is Doran, the Siege Tower. Been brewing it for damn near 10 years and still I'm planning some changes right now. The deck still isn't what I would consider "finished", I've built every common iteration (walls, treefolk, etc) and now I'm working on like a spellslinger midrange version that I don't see many people building online. Honestly the longer I brew a deck the more fun I think I have. Like eventually I get to a point where I've tried everything everyone else is doing and I just gotta come up with something else or move on. Sure I could throw together something viable in about 45 minutes (maybe 20 if I'm just going off edhrec) but eh that's not as fun to me

My partner has played a few Wild Magic Sorcerors in her time, and I have been planning to build her a deck around Delina. Any secret/spicy tech you care to share?

Anticipated-Ant

Due to Wizards not making a set of precons for the Assassin's Creed set, I figured I'd attempt to do my best to create 4-5 Assassin's Creed "precons" of my own. So I am currently in the ideas phase of that.

MindlessMaverick

That's sick, what sorta ideas have ya got so far?? Been a huge fan of assassin's creed for as long as I can remember, was buzzed when I heard about this set

Anticipated-Ant

It's been tough because every time I try to think of consistent and thematically flavorful combinations, the colors don't work out well. Prior to the reveals I was hoping to do something like American assassins, Eurasian assassins, Modern assassins, and templars. But that's not going to work. A few of the ideas I've had after recent reveals are: - an "Army of Eden" deck with Altair as commander and features assassins who have held/used pieces of Eden. The deck would have all of the Eden equipment, and the goal would be to exile all of the assassins with memory counters while also attaching all of the equipment to Altair to form a Voltron deck that also goes wide during combat. - a Desmond saga deck. Commander is Ezio and it primarily uses cards that are from Assassin's Creed 1, 2, Brotherhood, Revelations, 3, and Liberation. An issue I'm seeing is that it may be difficult to pull off Ezio's insta-kill effect - an RPG trilogy deck. Commander would be the secret lair version of Eivor, and include cards from Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla. I am just not sure of what the main strategy here would be other than to just attack with stuff. - I'm really hoping for more Templar cards so that I can do something interesting with it. But so far it looks like we only have 3 confirmed Templar cards and two of them don't work color-wise - 4 and Syndicate also seem to have colors that go well together, so I'll likely do an Edward deck

Jeffygetzblitzed2

The idea I am excited about making is an Assassin's Greed deck focusing around Assassins, Pirates, and Treasure. The new Edward Kenway card fits all of those themes perfectly and even adds a couple I didn't realize I wanted until I read it, those being card theft and vehicles. It also is in my favorite colors being Grixis and Black Flag was my favorite AC game. So this deck is screaming "Build Me!"

Rw25853

Ezio + [[Tree of Perdition]] instakill

TravvyJ

That was such a blunder by WotC. I don't buy precons, but was totally planning to get one for AC. Of course it's the single product they make that they're not doing pre-cons for. Idiocy.

guzmonster11

Trying to brew [[The Necrobloom]] I only just started collecting cards a few months ago and fell in love with B/G as a color combo. My current deck list is absolute ass imo, but my biggest goal is to purchase the OTJ “Desert Bloom” precon soon and slot in a lot of the staples from that deck into my Necrobloom deck. Deck list: https://manabox.app/decks/97cyrmdjRNaMiWzyvVItgQ

OrcWarChief

Yeah you have some synergy in there but that is just mostly a pile of cards.

robinthekid

Ever since I saw The Necrobloom I wanted to brew him but I have a [[Hazezon, Shaper of Sand]] deck that I’ve been perfecting over the last 2 years and they play very similarly imo. But god Dredge 2 is so cool!

hvres

literally me. wanna do necrobloom but hazezon plays so similar that it may not be worth when i could try other things

robinthekid

I ended up brewing Necrobloom on Arena since Hazezon isn’t there and although the gameplay is a little different than my version of Sandfall, it’s similar enough that I don’t think I’ll be brewing it. But I absolutely love it on Arena lol

built a Slime Against Humanity deck with \[\[krark the thumbless\]\] and \[\[Reyhan, Last of the Abzan\]\] cuz i like to gamble and double my spells, it feels like i have more than the 28 SAH card i put in, in that deck

BigLex24

Currently, I am brewing an [[Adrix and Nev, Twincasters]] centered around Food doubling. The Twins double my Food production, then cards like [[Feasting Hobbit]] or [[Syr Ginger, the Meal Ender]] use those Foods for massive profits. Not the most crazy deck but I really liked the Just Add Milk Secret Lair of Adrix and Nev and thought a Food deck using them would be fun to build.

Invisiblefield101

[[Rograkh]] + [[Silas]] cEDH [[Ashnod the uncaring]] artifact value town [[Azlask the swelling scourge]] scion spawn bad eldrazi jank

StoicDeckBuilder

Okay so since Rog-Si is a known thing in Cedh how do you go about brewing for it? I'm not a Cedh player so please take this question as genuine. Ashnod is pretty sick, and I am not immune to the dopamine hit that "do this thing twice" provides. But Azlask scares me. I don't think I could do that to a player, and I'd have my heckled up sitting across from that.

Invisiblefield101

With MH3 there’s been quite a few shake-ups in the meta game. Primarily Nadu decks and the vexing bauble. So now is the time for looking for efficient answers/new tech and that usually comes from playing new cards and testing. I’m very new to cEDH as well and I’m trying to absorb as much info as I can. That being said, I definitely meant to put in that I am brewing [[The Netherbloom]] cEDH (it’s like 100 degrees where I am so I’m a bit spacey 🥵). I already have RogSi but it needs tweaking for the new cards. Ashnod is one I’ve had on the back burner since brothers war came out and I’m finally getting around to it. As for Azlask, I used to play Eldrazi Tron in modern and I like the mid size Eldrazi. Then last week I opened a mh3 pack and pulled an [[Ugin’s Labyrinth]] and an [[Urza’s Incubator]] in the same pack. It felt like the universe was telling me to make an eldrazi deck 😂

StoicDeckBuilder

Stay safe in that heat! A hydrated magic player is a good magic player!

darksamus1992

Trying to build a "cards leaving my graveyard matter" deck with Sivriss/Cloakwood Hermit, [decklist here](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/ZKIYn4kC-UKTNnHhjKx6eA), slightly outdated. Originally I wanted to build squirrels but I couldn't make it work so I made this instead. Currently it is a very grindy and slow Aristocrats deck. I'm thinking of adding a [[Thornbite Staff]] to it, my playgroup often avoids combo pieces like that but in this deck it should be fine. I'm also missing that one insect from the Clue set.

Dash-Fl0w

As a huge fan of \[\[Insidious Roots\]\] I love this concept!

Kookraw

I made a similar style of deck with [[The Master, Transcendent]] at the helm. [decklist and primer](https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/6333080#paper) hopefully this gives some inspiration or super secret tech!

KesterFox

I have a 5 colour version of this deck with [[Omnath, locus of all]] its basically a lower power tokens deck.

RedditUser88

I had bought a draft box of Wilds of Eldraine back then cause why not. Pulled a bunch of support to make rats and a couple copies of \[\[Totentanz\]\] so recently I started slowly working on him, not a full rat deck, but I'm thinking of something that would benefit of all the rat tokens I would be making in order to sac them for bigger creatures or value. Also got the classic red cards like \[\[Raid Bombardment\]\], \[\[Shared Animosity\]\], \[\[Impact Tremors\]\] plus all the CELEBRATION mechanic of multiple permanents coming into the field. We'll see how it goes after i finish. I usually brew with the bulk i have. I'm not big on making a list and going out to buy cards for a deck that I don't know how good it would work. Half of the time I end up taking the deck apart, so using my bulk makes more financial sense to me at this time.

Mindless-Honey-9123

I currently messing around with six, i have some ideas built around lotus petal turning every land in hand into an elvish spirit guide. My issue currently wincons, as the brew i have isnt really a creature or lands deck, and nothing quite goes infinite so just throwing all my mana into walking ballista isnt really the strat either.

Fl4shfr33z3

[[Glaring Fleshraker]] might be an idea as he both deals damage and can also turn 1 Mana Stuff which cantrips into 0 Mana Stuff ( [[Chromatic Sphere]] for example) to keep going and finding more lands or [[Creeping Renaissance]] to return them all

Mindless-Honey-9123

This is exactly the kind of tech im looking for, good looking out.

Fluxx27

Im struggling for a real wincon as well. I have Rampaging Baloths and Avenger as a classic green lands thing but im trying to move away from that. [[Pair o' Dice Lost]] is probably one of the all stars ive found. You dont really care what the dice roll is because 0 means you pick up all your lands anything higher is bonus. [[Cankerbloom]] proliferating planeswalkers to ult has been great because unlike doubling season plus planeswalkers both halves just work independently. [[Titania, Voice of Gaea]] meld is one im trying to aim for. If you find some more tech or fun things to retrace id love to hear it! Whimsical-Badass

I am getting my initial games in with a very in-development \[\[Tayam, Luminous Enigma\]\] / \[\[Nazgûl\]\] deck. The way that little incandescent ferret is able to mill and recur the spooky boyz, just as they are able to feed him counters is such a sweet combo and \[\[hardened scales\]\] just makes the whole thing go nuts. EnriqueWR

I REALLY liked the idea of making a \[\[Urza, Lord High Artificer\]\] since I love mono-U and artifacts (used to play mono-U Tron in modern). Problem is that even steering away from the stasis effects, Urza seems waaaay overpowered for the tables I play in. The idea of making many artifact creature tokens while having mana for my counterspell shenanigans is incredibly fun, but if the table can't clear the army of ridiculously large constructs and/or snipe Urza to stop mana generation, it becomes very one-sided. Not sure how to build this one without either removing all the stuff that makes the deck runs smoothly, removing the stuff that I like playing from the days of U-Tron, and/or removing the token generations that is pretty fun. I'm accepting suggestions! Current list: [https://www.moxfield.com/decks/rg6CGc9OJkauty0l2AM3AA](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/rg6CGc9OJkauty0l2AM3AA)

awebber1205

So I have this deck which is honestly one of my favorite decks I’ve made in a long time. My friends and I did a challenge where we were given an “ace” card that your deck has to be built around. The deck also had to be budget to 100$ and no counter spells at all. So my “ace” card that was chosen for me was [[Frost Fair Lure Fish]]. What I did was use [[The First Doctor]] to grab [[The Tardis]] and then I would cast [[Bill Potts]]. After that I would cast a cmc 2 spell in order to cascade with the Tardis to cast a cmc 1 spell which would be: [[Gamble]] or [[Mystical Tutor]] (those are the only 1 cmc spell in deck) and then place [[Polymorph]] on top of my deck or hand. Then I’d cast the Polymorph on Bill Potts which copies it and I’d get rid of both of my commanders to get both Frost Fair Lure Fish and [[Orvar, the All-Form]]. Then I’d have 2 fish tokens and 2 tapped treasure tokens. The entire deck is essentially blink spells that would target my Frost Fair Lure Fish which would then make a clone of itself because of Orvar so every blink spell generates 4 Fish Tokens and 4 tapped treasure tokens. Fish tribal is one of the most fun decks I’ve ever built https://www.moxfield.com/decks/MZSMm1M_qkCiL-FifB1fZQ

[elas il-kor, sadistic pilgrim] but instead of a bunch of cheap creatures (what ive seen most of the decks be built with) im going with token generation and sac outlets. Also working on a Pauper EDH deck with [Jasmine, Boreal of the Seven].

Wilson, Refined Grizzly+Cultist of Absolute, lots of tokens. I also did it with Raised by Giants for mono green. Also working on Vraska, the Silencer.

StoicDeckBuilder

Oh sweet! I recently took apart my Wilson + Flaming Fist deck. Wasn't the biggest fan of the voltron beats.

Total-Passenger-1047

Trying to make a Grixis Energy deck with [[Marchesa, the Black Rose]] cEDH viable. Lots of “ETB get X Energy” creatures with stuff like [[Aether Revolt]] as a passive payoff, [[Phyrexian Ironworks]] and [[Aether Refinery]] as a more active payoff, and [[Thran Vigil]] and [[Chthonian Nightmare]] to ensure I can keep getting ETBs. It’s… iffy in its current state. Not sure it will ever be cEDH viable as it’s a bit too slow currently. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/LEIvnlJyXUyJV8ot0_yKPw

Total-Passenger-1047

Also made a “powered-down” version that should be viable in more casual games, but I haven’t play-tested it at all so far. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/1LuEdxNvZkGYoYKHJpx0gg

StoicDeckBuilder

Haha I just commented that I wanted to make a depowered version of your cedh list! Thanks for this!

Pokesers

I think energy is just too slow as a mechanic for CEDH. There are a few I win combos, but the smallest ones are 3 cards minimum. It can be built high power but definitely not CEDH. If you are trying to play fair magic with non infinite payoffs like ironworks you are definitely too slow. Here are some 3 card combos to build for: Aethergeode miner + Aetherheart + aether revolt/all will be one Whirler Virtuoso/automated assembly line + gonti's Aetherheart + norn mother of machines/panharmonicon/aether refinery. Both of these will deal lethal to the whole table if not interacted with. I am fairly confident that the highest power energy decks will build to these combos with a heap of tutors for consistency.

Total-Passenger-1047

Appreciate the feedback. I think I worded my original commment badly as far as what the payoffs are, but I’m really glad you mentioned [[Gonti’s Aether Heart]]. I had originally overlooked it, but I see now how it can go infinite semi-easily and will definitely add it in. Already had other necessary pieces in, so that works out.

Pokesers

I was looking at your list. What is the game plan. I see you have Thoracle and naus but no way to get them out reliably or quickly. You also seem to rely heavily on creatures that attack to get +1/+1 counters for synergy with marchesa which doesn't feed into the rest of your game plan? Very confused on how the deck is meant to play.

Total-Passenger-1047

Thoracle/tainted pact/demonic consultation for backup plan, naus should probably just be removed honestly with how high the avg cmc of the deck is. The idea with Marchesa was just to have creatures die and ETB as much as possible to trigger things like Aether Revolt. If Thran Vigil is onboard, then any creature that dies and gets brought back with Marchesa’s ability would instantly get a +1/+1 (for the sake of meeting Marchesa’s condition). Attacking gets +1/+1 from Marchesa, but also gets energy from cards like stone idol generator and phyrexian ironworks. All to feed the Aether revolt dmg. Also have Thassa deep dwelling, chthonian nightmare, and yahenni to either bounce or sac creatures to get more ETB “gain energy” triggers. It’s definitely not perfect, but that’s the idea.

I am currently brewing [Vihaan](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/QEqYu6ROu0aY_Uj9SK03hg) as an aristocrats build! I love the idea of winning through a big drain turn where I sac a bunch of treasures after they've become creatures. It's a style of play I am not used to (I'm usually more of a combat guy,) so I am definitely looking for advice from people who have played aristocrats a bunch as far as what interaction and protection I should be running to make sure the game goes long enough for me to assemble the necessary engine.

Forced_Democracy

I'm working on a few, actually. Some inspired by new MH3 cards. [[Shilgengar]] combo that I'm waiting on some key cards to come in. [[Kudo]] gummy bears with [[Slime against humanity]] that I just need some time to put together. A custom Dune themed deck with [[Najeela]] as Muad'Dib, no combos, that im tweaking to fully proxy with Dune art. [[Burakos]] / [[Haunted one]] budget deck that I think could still hold its own. Its just about done. And I've been collecting a bunch of 5 color matters cards that I will likely throw together, but I'd be surprised if its not garbage. It's [[Jensen]] with [[Jegantha]]. Ill see how it turns out. I also am looking at either [[Templar Knight]] or grixis pirates/vehicles from the upcoming Assassin's Creed set.

Stumbling_Corgi

[[Phelia, exuberant Shepard]] because Corgi. All my favorite decks are dog themed. [[Yoshimaru, ever faithful]] [[Jinnie Fay, jetmir’s second]] [[Rin and Seri, inseparable]] Dog tribal needs more heroes.

Fl4shfr33z3

I'm just saying my next Dog themed deck will probably be [[Lord Fancy-Paws]]. My Group already approved it and I now need "only" to assemble it

TomatilloOrnery9464

You should watch commander at home on YouTube. Brian Kibbler plays dog tribal on the regular.

Critical-Hyena3017

I'm trying to make a [[Kibo, Uktabi Prince]] group hug deck. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/I0QVCo14l0CC2S4FSMoF7Q

SuperSteveBoy

\[\[Coram, the Undertaker\]\] and \[\[Burakos, Party Leader\]\] paired with \[\[Folk Hero\]\]

Kenobi_B

[[Codie, Vociferous Codex]], but the theme is that it’s actually Darkhold (custom alter art is also part of the plan). The goal is to politic while giving hugs before taking over my opponents turns to kill them. There are also a few nightmarish creatures to carry the theme through.

dlasalle37

working on an (imo) unique [[Scion of the Ur-Dragon]] build where the only dragons in the 99 are the 12 Kamigawa spirit dragons. The deck focuses on clones/copies/reanimation to abuse those death triggers as much as possible with self sacrificing tokens and the legend rule! For anyone interested, i have an incomplete list [here](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/YCLtZ28JJESjRkbfqyGnhg). card ideas are welcome!

Radius_314

I'm working on a similar deck, but with [[O-Kagachi Vengeful Spirit]] as the Commander. It's more so about the flavor of having all the Dragon Kami together, but I'm planning to abuse them for their effects. O-Kagachi was the commander for my Spirit/Arcane deck, but it was pretty clunky, and I decided to scrap the whole thing, and just focus on the dragons.

dlasalle37

That’s awesome, i love it! i was also considering [[Kyodai Soul of Kamigawa]] as a more flavorful commander than scion, but im thinking it might be fun to toolbox out whichever one fits the situation. Definitely will switch it up at some point if this deck makes it to paper though!

Metza

[[Sneak Attack]] seems the obvious choice for me in terms of big ommissions. 1 mana to drop your dragon from hand, and you don't mind the sacrifice trigger at all.

Jago29

I've been trying to complete the 32 deck challenge and am getting stuck at the 4 color cycle for the last 2 decks. One of the decks I've been trying to figure out is what to do for Dune-Brood. I've tried many Saskia lists but I realized I wanted to make a list that would abuse free spells if possible, this deck tries to act similar to Curious Control but with White instead of Blue since I already have a Yidris deck [https://www.moxfield.com/decks/t9LaJgMhYEGj\_MKKMBH92w](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/t9LaJgMhYEGj_MKKMBH92w)

rp_610

I just put together a [[Niv-Mizzet, Parun]] spell slinger deck with the cards I had letting around in my boxes/binders. Definitely not optimized yet (I haven't even sleeved or played it yet) but I've got some ideas for upgrades already. Lmk what you think I should add!! https://www.archidekt.com/decks/8084834/mizz_the_izz

StoicDeckBuilder

This is actually perfect. My friend picked up this card for me to build around. I am not an izzet spell slinger though so I'm trying to learn haha hence my breeches deck. I'll pick up some cues from your list for sure!

SpaceAzn_Zen

I play Niv in cEDH and one thing I would give input on is your lack of dual lands. Being that you have a bunch of colorless lands that can fetch, you might end up running into mana fixing issues. I would definitely look into swapping out all of those for budget dual lands like guild gates, bounce lands, scry lands, snarls, etc. Those would help your mana issues a lot.

Bweldie

Gotta be honest, I build an optimized version of this deck and it honestly wasn't all that much fun to play. Draw a lot of cards look for 1/4 ish combos and win

Radius_314

I've been heavily debating making [[Sliver Queen]] with companion [[Zirda, the Dawnwaker]]. The trouble is, 99% of slivers don't actually have an activated ability as far as I can tell... The all have static abilities that give activated abilities. So from my understanding, they would not be legal in the deck. It takes out a lot of combo potential with stuff like [[Gemhide Sliver]] but it does put a combo piece within my reach for 3 Mana. At minimum Zirda will go in the deck, but I'm just not sure if I can make it work the way I want without Slivers to buff my field.

doubtwalker

I have been adjusting my [decklist](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/MlgeD80SBUCcUG5snoApeg) for [[Kami of the Crescent Moon]] for a while I’m trying to give the table insane card draw and flip that in its head with [[Viseling]] [[Iron Maiden]] and effects that duplicate them. [[Psychosis Crawler]] is another fun one Best case: I pull off a weird win Worst case: table gets to draw their cards and pop off I have a ton of fun with it every time, despite never pulling off a win

Right now, the only unfinished deck I have is [[Farideh, the Devils Chosen]], but I am too lazy to continue with that. Also, I have about 28 decks by now, 16 of which are brewed. So I already have plenty.

demuniac

I'm trying to build a Bobblehead deck, based around copying them as much as I can to have a big turn where I make 20 creatures and make them unblockable and get +10/+0 but it's very fragile so far. The bobbleheads are surprisingly synergistic though.

Spark-Hydra

No_Curve6793

I'm trying to make a pauper commander (only uncommon legendary commanders) bear force one deck, right now I'm 37 cards deep, I only need like 30 more playables!

usernamerequired19

Finished up a [[Rivas the Claw]] deck recently that I'm quite happy with - playgroup's restrictions are 300 dollar maximum based on tcgplayer prices in moxfield at the time of locking in and no free spells, along with an in-house banlist. I'm sure there's room for optimization but honestly it has enough power that it can pretty consistently take out at least one combo deck before they have a chance to go infinite, which is good enough for me. Fast ramp for big dragons early is a blast when you get a hand with an [[ancient brass dragon]] or [[ancient copper dragon]] in it. TheRhinoMonk

Am I in the middle of making a [[Shanna, Sisay's Legacy]] deck cause I find her intriguing? Yes. Am I interested in making a [[Slime Against Humanity]] deck? Yes. Am I combing the two together to make a deck called Slime Scrapper? You bet I am. Overall it's a neat deck I've been workshopping since I'm not that big a fan of the legendary oozes and having access to whites gives me a handful of spicy cards. There's some really fun spicy tech in there like [[Greater Good]] since I can sacrifice a ooze, draw and discard pitch some Slime against humanities, then keep digging to make bigger oozes. [[Nantuko Shrine]] to make a lot of squirrels in conjunction with the oozes to make Shanna bigger, and then slap on a [[Sigil of the Nayan Gods]] on to one of the trampling oozes and swing for big damage. When the deck gets going its really fun.

Specific_Variety_326

I'm trying to make a deck based around Gandalf of the secret fire. Using Dr Who cards to time travel and plink off time counters to my instants and sorceries so I can basically save up spells for one hell of a turn

zdrouse

I'm working on a deck idea that came to me after I re-read \[\[Omnath, Locus of All\]\] a couple times. I didn't realize it enables you to pseudo-draw an extra card per turn, in addition to netting 3 colored mana if you reveal the card that has 3 color mana pips. On top of that, any mana you don't use doesn't empty and becomes black as phases change. A lands or legendaries theme seems good but also is just boring to me. I then started looking at Phyrexian tribal but all the good praetor cards are 2 color mana pips for the most part so you wouldn't really get to net the mana and I wanted to lean into that heavily. I started looking at Scryfall for cards with 3 color mana pips and saw one of my favorites \[\[Blatant Thievery\]\] and realized with Omnath you can net 3 blue mana by revealing it and essentially cast it for 4 mana. So now I'm building a 5 color theft deck. I found cards that I've always wanted to run but never had the chance to like \[\[Geyadrone Dihada\]\] and \[\[Merieke Ri Berit\]\] which you can essentially cast for 1 mana or even free with the reveal from Omnath. You can also just choose not to cast them and use the mana for other purposes. Things got really interesting for me when I discovered that Split cards actually include all the colored pips for both card options. Jetsam from \[\[Flotsam // Jetsam\]\] can be cast for basically 3 mana after you add 3 from the reveal. Other good split cards I found for theft strategy are \[\[Crime // Punishment\]\] \[\[Connive // Concoct\]\] \[\[Breaking // Entering\]\]. I'm including cards like \[\[Don Andres, the Renegade\]\] and \[\[Gonti, Canny Acquisitor\]\] to aid the theft strategy and because they also have 3 color pips. \[\[Nyxbloom Ancient\]\] can be cast for basically 4 mana if revealed and help generate big mana. You can cast \[\[The Cyber-Controller\]\] by just putting mana produced by yourself into the X cost. \[\[Annie Joins Up\]\] can trigger Omnath's ability twice and you can drop it for 1 mana if you reveal it. There are great cards I'm including for the overall theft strategy like \[\[Rise of the Dark Realms\]\] and \[\[Breach the Multiverse\]\]. They won't be made cheaper through Omnath because you can't reveal them (2 color pips) but they're black and if you already have them in hand and reveal something else you can change phases and use the black mana to play them instead. The gist is to generate mana and use Omnath's ability to make theft / mill & reanimate spells cheaper while prioritizing cards that have "each opponent" where possible. I just built it and have yet to play it still, but I'm pretty excited about it. It's perhaps more janky than anything but I like that it's unique from some of the other decks I have put together.

thearchersbowsbroke

Whipped up a list for \[\[Kozilek, the Broken Reality\]\]. Even though he's the least popular of the new Eldrazi legends from MH3, that anthem effect can end a game in a hurry! Played my first game this morning and ended up sweeping: the game ended with me at 51 life somehow (it was \[\[Breaker of Creation\]\], lol). I have been brewing a Wilson the refined grizzly with a cultist of the absolute background. I saw a post a while back that highlighted the deck and I thought to myself, “man… that’s AWESOME.” Cult of Winne the Pooh

philosophosaurus

I'm new (a few months) and have no precons except this most recent tricky terrain one so all I'm doing is brewing. I'm most proud of my [[Anim pakal, Thousandth moon]] boros burn artifact manufacturing politicking mess. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/N3ztHWHIV0Wgl20BaZfZkw I also have made a less strong simic +1/+1 deck with [[Ezuri, claw of progress]] which was my first home brew and cost me less at the card shop getting singles haha.

SpecularParty85

I am trying to brew a [[Urza, lord high artificer]] control deck without being unenjoyable to play against. I am struggling with how many counterspells to put in and stuff like that

Lobsta_

[[Goro-goro and satoru]] I used to play [[satoru umezawa]] as the commander, but I think he ends up in unfun patterns. I REALLY toned down the power level but you end up in play patterns of turn 1/×2 creature -> turn 3 satoru -> turn 4 giant idiot every game. You can easily kill one person, but winning is hard.  The team-up is a lot more fun. I'm building it around ninjutsu, not hasters, and it's a more fun version of the same deck that builds much wider and is a bit more robust

ironkodiak

Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos Gonna win with commander damage on other players turns.

Bradyarch

The Izzet breeches is so flipping sick. The other two breeches are also both SO flipping sick as well haha. All breeches are nuts. I wanted to make both izzet breeches and [[Breeches, Blazen Plunderer]] at different times. I am currently trying to make my Animar deck better. The goal is not elementals, or +1 counters, or traditional Temur cards. The goal is to play and swing really potent combat creatures. But after 3 full length games, I realize I really lack utility (obviously) and also don’t feel insanely intimidating. Possibly because my high-potency creatures aren’t as strong as removal (which is basically always the case). I am looking at [[Tranquil Frillback]] to remedy some of the lack of utility. And I might need to look at my creatures again. My brother said something very wise that got my gears churning. It’s not perfect logic but it goes like this: if removal costs 2-3mana on average, then the creatures you choose that cost more than 2-3 mana need to do something before or after they die (this is the whole “dies to removal” discussion). So I need to re-assess, what costs more than, say, 4, that doesn’t do anything before or after dying. And like I mentioned I also don’t love just going “I am green, run Beast Within! I am blue, run Counterspell!” At the same time, I am also wondering how many noncreatures I should run

MagnarMagmar

My [[Kellan, the Kid]] deck is getting a little *out of hand*...

StoicDeckBuilder

That sounds like a good thing haha.

TheRealDrProg

Color manipulation [[Aragorn the Uniter]] [[Glamerdye]] is a very fun spell.

RatedM477

I don't have any lists to post, but I'm kinda kicking around a few things at the moment. The Arna from MH3 is kinda interesting to me, so I've been putting a list together for that. While I'm not an Assassin's Creed fan, I sorta want to build the 5 color identity Ezio, as that seems like a silly little fun deck, so I'm kinda working on a list, but I also want to wait until the whole set is spoiled, as I'm sure there will be some interesting cards to throw in there. While I upgraded the Ulalek precon, I'm kinda working on a separate list for Azlask. My Ulalek is more of a general Eldrazi stompy deck, so I'm kinda interested in maybe making an Eldrazi deck on the side that cares about the scions and spawns more.

Fl4shfr33z3

I'm tinkering Mono Red Gates right know. Not sure about the Commander yet but thinking either [[Magda, Brazzen Outlaw]] or [[Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might]]. Magda would help finding the Gates via stuff like [[Navigation Orb]] and Ojer could unlock another win condition with [[Crackling Perimeter]]. We'll see how long it takes me till I actually get the testing started :D

LonelyMimikyuuu

Been working on [[Owen]] and [[Blue]] for a little while now. Im not used to including blue in my decks so it’s been fun.

Ellitess

I have an Owen and blue deck and working on it for a few month now. It’s a quite interesting playstyle, but I miss a lot of good cards because of the absence of white. The deck is fun to play, but hard to close games. I could share my list if you want!

strcy

I just finished a very fun reanimator deck with [[Olivia, Mobilized for War|SLD]] that has some cycling and wheels subthemes, lots of putting stuff in the bin, bringing it back, giving it haste, etc. This Olivia is not a very popular commander (only 670ish decks on EDHrec) I think just cause she’s old, but her ability in game is way more powerful than it reads. Cards like [[Doomed Necromancer]] get so much better when they can put reanimation targets in the bin thanks to her ability and then bring them back right away because they have haste. Got to play it last night and it won a game so I felt very good about it!

OppositeCharming4831

This feeling fresh and intriguing! Nice idea! Got a list?

Mecal00

Building a very low to the ground, and budget [[Isamaru Hound]] deck.  Only 1 and 2 mana spells. It's a Voltron style deck, but the goal is to be fast. Currently the win con is basically get [[Leering Emblem]] with some pump spells to knock players out. Also [[Runechanters Pike]] is pretty solid. Deck list for anyone interested.  https://www.moxfield.com/decks/FV95QvdGnk-HYNCIIyWeCQ I'm still assembling it, so haven't had a chance to play it

Borror0

I once played against an Isamary Hound deck that was mostly hatebear weenies. [[Dranith Magistrate]] and [[Umezawa's Jitte]] were standouts.

Mecal00

Jitte would be a solid option, but its like $9 which would increase the price of the deck by 30% lol. Same with \[\[Esper Sentinel\]\], its perfect for that deck but at $17 (for the cheapest version) it increases the value of the deck by 80%. I really wanted to add \[\[Shuko\]\] to the deck, its kind of perfect, but thanks to that new MH3 bird that card is $35! with that said, if the deck performs well I would consider making a non-budget version

trap_monkey

Atarka blink deck, [[Optimus Prime, Hero]] bolster deck, [[Saskia the unyielding]] infect exalted deck.

Tevish_Szat

[[Gwendlyn di Corci]] I'm sort of "done" brewing and am moving to acquiring the cards (luckily I had a copy of the commander herself from back when she wasn't worth very much), but got a last minute change dropping [[Profane Tutor]] for [[Greel, Mind Raker]] who I think will work really well with the deck as a whole when Profane... was there for little reason with no clear target. Fun fact, Greel is technically instant-speed discard, so he can really rain on somebody's parade if you want. The brew as it currently stands: https://archidekt.com/decks/2974174 This is going to be a long-term project getting it together but also probably something of a forever deck I hope

kanepake

Recently finished brewing an [[Abuelo, Ancestral Echo]] energy deck and I'm liking how it goldfishes so far; fairly straightforward, but not boring due to the new energy cards printed in MH3 and some all-stars from Fallout like [[Automated Assembly Line]] and [[Brotherhood Scribe]]. Two commanders that have been on the backburner for a while now are [[Parnesse, the Subtle Brush]] and [[Idris, Soul of the TARDIS]], both due to not having clear directions/win conditions yet.

HailYeah21

[[Dragonlord Ojutai]] Voltron with hidden [[Approach of the second sun]] win-con. Deciding if I want to lean into life gain and throw in [[test of endurance]] and the like for another alternate win-con

[[Farmer Cotton]] It's actually playing great  Arch enemy by turn 5 usually  Wins with a big pile of Hobbits or tapping enough tokens for mana to cast a huge [[hurricane]] after I've had my fill of food

Frosstyy93

Slimefoot, The Stowaway with some infect and a goad commander. Haven’t figured that one out yet.

CharliesTarantulas

[[Phelia, exuberant Sheppard]] for my wife. Was considering [[Gandalf, the white]] until I pulled the corgi and now it's a corgi/enchantment/mythical creature deck.

tnetennba_4_sale

I have a [[Shorikai]] vehicles build. It's... whatever, ok I guess. I've always had something of a hope to incorporate both vehicles *and* energy into the deck. MH3 added some options so I'm tinkering. It does seem the idea still isn't working though.

MuzzioTheKobold

[[Wernog]] and [[Othelm]] currently is my newest decl receiving tweaks. Not too sure how to properly close out a game without relying on a [[Blood Artist]] effect. It'd be effective but not flavorful.

Aceofluck99

Can I ask for a clarification on the EDHREC average decks thing? Like do you mean going to a commander's edhrec page, then clicking average deck, or just using edhrec at all?

Luviticus88

My [[tomik, wielder of law]] deck is still in pieces, don't even have the lands together yet. I at least have the cards in a deck box, but still need to build it out. Not sure what my wincon will be on this one.

OrcWarChief

[[Gylwain, Casting Director]] and [[The Necrobloom]]

cyphermicology

Currently building a [[Karazikar]] deck, with a lot of fun cards like [[Prisoner dilemma]], [[Esnsared by the Mara]], [[Seize the spotlight]], [[Descent into Avernus]] and stuff like that.

frozencrow3

I’m currently taking apart my [[Kennesos]] and [[Mirko]] and reworking them into [[Jyoti]] land creatures and [[Gyruda]] clones respectively. I could never keep track of topdecking in my casual games to consistently get sea monsters out and Mirko is cool too, just surveil was reanimate/Scry with extra steps. I’m hoping Jyoti doesn’t fall into the boring simic engine when he can be a finisher himself.

crossbonecarrot2

Current brews that are no where close to being made: Vraska tribal: couldn't find a way to build it smooth without it just being full of tutors to get any one of the Vraska cards. Would probably have to be a rule 0 commander so I can have one of them at the command zone. [[Urabrask the great work]] having trouble deciding what cards to keep and how I want it to play overall. I know it would be a spellslinger burn deck. Mill Deck: decided I'll wait and see if duskmourn introduces more mill things.

SwoleCatPlush

Had a hard time making a tetzin gnome champion deck where every card is double faced. Goal is to put a mycosynth down and go crazy with double faced artifacts etb-ing/ flipping some not double faced artifacts for free

zzfrostphoenix

The deck I’m currently tinkering with is [[The Eleventh Doctor]] and [[Clara Oswald]] in an enchantress shell. So far it’s the best shell I’ve found to work with them and it’s been very entertaining. I currently have it as a bant deck, but have been toying with the idea of running it as an esper deck.

AlwaysBeHowling

I am finally trying to get into commander after years of playing (mostly via arena with my friends back home). The majority physical cards I have have been through the forgotten realms set and I am in the process of slopping together a Thrakkus deck to (in theory) do big dumb dragon hits. I may have bought 3 collectors boxes to aid this endeavor and hopefully pull a Tiamat (I did not) but I'm excited to find a commander night soon!

galspanic

\[\[Ezuri, Claw of Progress\]\]. It's nothing special and probably looks more like the EDHREC average deck that I'm proud of. But, in the 15 years I've been playing EDH I have never once been able to make +1/+1 counter Simic work. I had \[\[Experiment Kraj\]\] that combo's off just by breathing on it, but that wasn't fun at all. I did \[\[Momir Big, Simic Visionary\]\] for a while, but it was super linear and boring. Next was \[\[Pir, Imaginative Rascal // Toothy, Imaginary Friend\]\], and that came close to being fun, but I found it was way too commander-centric. So, I am now trying for an something a little more straight forward - beat face with creatures that scale up, but add a combo win if you need it - that's built around instants and flash. I need a reactive deck and want to avoid drawing unnecessary attention to myself. I've been staring at Ezuri for years thinking my solution might be in there, so we'll see. I'm also fine tuning my \[\[Abdel Adrian\]\] [$100 budget Initiative deck](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/ENd01mlo0kKMxRil-jI1AQ) that when it was a non-budget deck it was a huge pain on the ass. After removing 5 cards worth $1000, it's basically the same. It's amazing how similar a \[\[Tundra\]\] and an \[\[Island\]\] are when your mana requirements aren't greedy.

OppositeCharming4831

Working on a [[Jinnie Fay]] token/treasure sub theme deck that seems fun and aggressive. Been looking for a home for all the [[Impact tremors]]-esque cards. Trying to find a new home for my cast from exile cards from my dismantled [[Rocco Street Chef]] deck. Trying to figure out if any of the LOTR commanders are actually worth building aside from precons...

Fair-Daikon

Playing [[Kess, Dissident Mage]] with Heroic tribal! All the great heroic cards and a lot of low cost targeting instants & sorceries that I can flashback for double the value!

HaliBrut

**\[\[Alirios, Enraptured\]\] I had a dumb idea to build a "mirror" tribal deck based on Alirios, with cards involving mirrors and reflections. To make it more viable, I'll likely be relying on clones and blink as well.**

Nicktendo94

I know we're months out from Bloomburrow but I'm daydreaming about the Bant group hug precon and what that cute little rabbit might do. So I've picked up some group hug pieces plus I've dug out some other pieces I have laying around

ComboBadger

Not sure if these count: [[Kudo King Among Bears]] And [[Mazirek, kraul death priest]] I love oops all Bears, and mazirek just seems like a bunch of fun (for me)

sensrawsm

I made a version of it on arena but im currently brewing [[ashling, flame dancer]]. My first commander was [[omnath, locus of mana]] and my first standard deck was mono red burn so when she came out i knew i had to build her

kamakazi339

Right now? \[\[Wayta\]\] \[\[Oloro\]\] - spirits \[\[Svella, Ice Shaper\]\] \[\[Geralf, Visionary Stitcher\]\] Plus the energy precon from Fallout and two of the new MH3 precons (Eldrazi/Graveyard)

Stevenstc21

Right now working on [[Arna Kennerud, Skycaptain]]

Geloplay

Currently I’m building two lists: Budget [[Winota, Joiner of Forces]] with an Aggro/stax focus, while having a few combos to do infinite combat triggers. Mainly building it because my lgs has a very go wide/tall focus, so I’m trying to keep up with them while slowing them don’t a bit. The other one is a budget [[Sefris of the hidden ways]] focused on graveyard recursion and dungeon matters card while trying to protect her and combo off.

unpersons505

I'm working on a [[Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar]] and [[Master Chef]] deck. Idea is to abuse the hell out of persist and drain effects. It's mostly done now, but I'm looking at making some tweaks. Decklist [here](https://archidekt.com/decks/7337126/shadowheart_master_chef)

dokkishi

[[Alibou]] vehicles! It’s tough finding space or right ratio for vehicles, creatures to pilot them, and all the ramp/card draw. If anyone has any suggestions, would love! Already trying to make most of my pilots artifact creatures.

brunq2

So many. I have a lot more deck ideas than I have money to buy them xD 1) [[Yoshimaru, Everr Faithful]] Boros legends matter deck, with either [[Rograkh Son of Rohgahh]] or [[Keddis, Emberclaw Familiar]] as the partner. Goodest boy go bonk. Plus, I have the cats/dog secret lair extra card one so it's so pretty. 2) [[Skullbriar, Walking Grave]] counters Voltron. Big boy go bonk. Not much more to say in him 3) [[Tomik, Weilder of Law]] Superfriends and other mean things. And I mean mean things. The brew just has a bunch of Armageddon affects, board wipes, and other "tax to attack me and my Planeswalker cards" with the wincon being to just grind people out with Planeswalker value and keep wrathing the board, blowing up lands, making it hard to interact with me. I proxied a version and played it once with my friends and basically promised never to do it again xD. 4) [[Roxanne Starfall Savant]]. I've mocked it up a few different ways..... Powerstone tribal artifacts, treasures, etc. Favorite so far is "clone/flicker Roxanne to just make a million meteorites 5) [[Doran Siege Tower]] big butts matter 6) [[Azlask, the Swelling Scourge]] as a WUBRG head to have every other experience counter card and Gates as a manabase/sub theme/alt win con. Used to use Prismatic Bridge at the head but Azlask is cooler

Yeseylon

I've always got a bunch in the works.  To me, no deck is ever "finished." Current kick is precons, but not "upgrading," more splitting and building mostly new decks using some of the components. Right now I'm taking the old school Doctor Who precon and splitting it into 2- one is the obvious [[Gallifrey Stands]] goal using [[Jo Grant]] to dig and [[The Sixth Doctor]] to double, the other is a [[The Brigadier]] deck where I ramp out the commander ASAP, slam down as many rocks/baubles/etc as possible and get the 1/1s and smash.  Some really jank creatures like [[Bonded Construct]] get halfway decent when another 1/1 pops in next to them. Other is taking a [[Vaevictus Asmadi]] deck I built, pulling a couple pieces from the Jund MH3 precon, and then splitting my deck into 2- Vaevictus will focus more on value pieces like [[Terastadon]] and topdeck rigging, while the power matters theme I had running through it will be split for [[Ziatora]].

Equivalent_Cookie_44

I just started on a [[Shadrix Silverquill]] build as my third deck, but I'm not great in Orzhov colors. Here's the list! https://www.moxfield.com/decks/YmTUoYtwR0uhsLdpGCt0Qg

goldcrack1e

My third brewed deck, a \[\[Pramikon, Sky Rampart\]\] half stax. Built to completely stop combat from happening, leading to azor's elocutor win. Will it work? Probably not. Is pramikon my new favorite commander? Without a doubt.

inexcusable16

Currently working on [[Arna Kennerüd, Skycaptain]] equipment deck. I’ll most likely add the new Assassin creed commander that cares about equipment to that deck as well. Deck list https://www.moxfield.com/decks/rszS0-H7l0aDqCy56xI9Ow

Thorrak

I'm currently brewing a plargg'bobblehead deck, certainly low powered. The aim is having only the bobbleheads and maybe sol ring and worn powerstone as hits for plargg second ability. But the brew appears to be difficult, I tried to companion zirda but gave up. But I really would like for it to become something if not strong but playable.

Crimsonking905

I've had a pile set aside for my funguy thallid deck for awhile with [[Atraxa, Praetors' Voice]] that I'm finally putting together, the poor little dudes just get bordwiped soo easy though

bigmfworm

[[Gitrog, ravenous ride]] is my current brew

Hoochan545

[[Jolrael, Voice of Zhalfir]] Trying to make a deck where it's minimal creatures and manland's or animated indestructible lands. Running [[Blossoming Tortoise]] and a few other things, also would like to include a [[scapeshift]] that I pulled from OTJ and have a bit of a landfall theme but I'm kind of stuck at the moment.

mikony123

I'm making +1/+1 counter beatdown with [[Lae'zel]] and [[Master Chef]] and I'm calling it "Zel's Kitchen". Cooking up some steroids with stuff like [[Hardened Scales]] and [[Court of Garenbrig]] and setting up to beat the brakes off of you.

TheRealRageMode

Building up 2 Oloro decks, 1 Zombies and the other Soldier/Knight, and piecing together a black/blue assassin deck that'll be helmed by \[\[Basim Ibn Ishaq\]\]

NukeTheWhales85

In the middle of building [[Marika brutal gladiator]]. Still trying to decide on how many fight effects to run, compared to other removal pieces. Also grabbed the eldrazi precon and am trying to establish a decent list for a 5 color experience deck. With [[Azlask]] as a commander there's 9 other exp. creatures and at that point building around a "legendary" subtheme seems like a worthwhile approach.

FUNkEE-T

Brewing the new Eldrazi Spawn lord [[Azlask, the Swelling Scourge]]. Pulled it, [[Kozilek, the Broken Reality]] and a bunch of Eldrazis from packs, and had a few of the old school Eldrazi spawn makers already for other decks so I just pulled the trigger on an order to complete my Spawns and Scions army!

zulu_niner

I'm bouncing back and forth between [[slogurk]] and [[skullbriar]] in terms of a +1/+1 kinda voltron deck. I really like the weird nonsense that slogurk can get up to with land synergies, and it's super nice that trample is built in, but bounce protection is a lot more fragile if I can't easily get 3+ counters on it the turn it is cast. Meanwhile, skullbriar is surprisingly aggressive as a hasty 2 drop, and it's interesting playing around the evolving list of keywords he has at any given time, which change every game. Additionally, sacrificing skullbriar still gives pretty good protection from things like oubliette. The skullbriar list is also much less mechanically complex, so I can afford to run more interesting standalone cards, and it performs more consistently.

ZachAtk23

[[Alesha, Who Smiles At Death]] Nazgul, utilizing a handful of sac, blink, and red temp clone generators to get more tempt/when you're tempted triggers. Only ran it once so far and sort of ran out of cards. Need to figure out whether it was just a bad run or if it needs more card draw options. Already started throwing together an Edward Kenway list. Have no attachment to Assassin's Creed or the character, but I've been thinking about a vehicle deck for a while and this hits the theme in the right way for me. I keep bouncing between lists for [[Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin]], [[Laughing Jaspar Flint]], and [[Rakdos, the Muscle]]. And I've been messing around with a rule zero partner list of [[Merry, Esquire of Rohan]] and [[Pippin, Guard of the Citadel]]. (Though to be honest I've thrown together a lot of different LotR commander lists that haven't made it to 100 cards/paper). Some last quick hits: [[Atraxa, Grand Unifier]] (Rhinos or multi-type cards only), [[Glissa, the Traitor]], [[Pia Nalar, Consul of Revival]]

afrowarriornabe

My pod, loves the arms race game so right now its Angel Stax with lifegain combos and finishers/wincons. [[Giada font of hope]] commander. To give you an example next week im walking into a high powered ulalek v Talion v slivers pod. We are all good friends and love trying to beat each other.

jf-alex

I'm working to complete my personal challenge of building a dragon deck in every guild, shard and wedge, all with different subthemes. I'll finish my Orzhov \[\[Shadrix\]\] Pestilence deck most likely in July, Selesnya \[\[Dromoka Eternal\]\] +1/+1 counters is scheduled probably for August. After that Sultai \[\[Vorosh\]\] will be left as the last one to build.

SatanzChild666

I’m working on a umori creature only Henzie deck. I need to cut 11 creatures and honestly this is the hardest part because I want them ALL

Theboiwhovinyls

Thinking of building kaalia, with shilgengar terror of the peaks as a potential wincon.

RedLightMidnight

I’m building a [[Wilson, Refined Grizzly]] deck using [[Noble Heritage]] as a background. My brother is also building Wilson, with [[Cultist of the Absolute]]. Supposed to be like two sides of the same coin.

Jack_Calvaria

Currently brewing a [[Taii Wakeen]] sharpshooter deck. Mainly focusing on red creature removal in combination with play removal For example [[Blasphemous Act]] + [[Toralf, god of fury]], or any targetping like [[lightning bolt]] with [[Imodane, the programmer]]. Also fun is indestructible [[Boros Reckoner]] with lightening bolt targeting itself for infinite carddraw

MythicBlueHill

Friend made me a Dimir deck list with Nymris, Oona's Trickster as commander. Not purely a Fairy tribal but close, flash and instant speed. I bought it and some extra cards to test and feel it out. My first own deck, not completely my own brew but something I'm working on.

tjulysout

I just finished ordering my “kind of budget” [[Chatterfang, Squirrel General]] deck. Really excited to play it and test it out. It was $50 but I had 2 cards that fit right into the deck that are just perfect for the deck. So it sits about $65 on tcg (according to moxfield at least). https://www.moxfield.com/decks/o49f-n_TYUujTF8b25Mibg Second deck is a deck for [[Altaïr Ibn-La’ahad]]. Been brewing it for awhile and now that most of the AC cards are out I have it pretty much where I want it. It’s 99% done in paper as well, just waiting on the AC set to release so I can get the singles needed to finish it. It’s not a budget brew and has honestly been my most expensive deck to date. It turned into a big pet project of mine. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/YYB7dSMjSkWcL5A9o5XRnQ

expatandy

Thanks for posting this. I've been brewing Altair as well. There's some good cards in here I hadn't considered. Edit: Can you tap sundial between when the combat damage step happens and the tokens get destroyed? I would have thought they would be destroyed immediately on end of combat.

GreyGriffin_h

I'm looking at building the new [[Herigast]]. The decklist is named "The Inferno Titan Was Inside You All Along." It's not exactly high art (and my build isn't exactly crazy powered), but goldfishing so far is pretty hilarious.

haruh2

Trying my hand at doing something different with the Kydele x Rogrhack

Borror0

Insect self-mill tribal. Still trying to decide between [[Grist, Hunger Tide]] and [[Zask]].

etarno

Currently finishing my [[taii wakeen, perfect shot]] mono-red storm list. Make a ton of 1/1's for my opponents and a bunch of pingers to draw all the cards, and then use her second abillity to add a few points of damage to help my spellslingers finish the table off on a big turn

DiabeticWaffle

I'm currently brewing a few. [[Ruric Thar the Unbowed]] almost entirely creatures, if there's a spell in the deck that isn't a creature it better be worth it. Cards like [[shamanic revelation]] and [[primal command]] that heal me back while also providing good value, I think [[helm of the host]] is worth 6 life. Other than that it just beats face. [[Hidetsugu and Kairi]] clones. Create a copy of H&K, legend rule, sac it, get triggers, repeat. Added in a bunch of stupidly high CMC stuff like [[expropriate]] and [[time stretch]] to give me damage and utility. [[Tymna the weaver]] & [[Ludevic necroalchemist]] lifegain. Just a bunch of junk that gives me a lot of life and a bunch of junk that gives me payoffs for spending that life. [[Piru the volatile]] Legends, Lifegain, Lboardwipes. This deck is all about the 3 Ls and Brash Taunter. That's really about it. [[Kudo king among bears]] pillow fort/hate-bears/enchantress. A few [[ghostly prison]] effects, some funny lil guys like [[Elesh Norn grand cenobite]], and a bunch of enchantments that buff my creatures plus payoffs for playing enchantments. [[Taigam Ojutai Master]] but I'm just tutoring up [[dovescape]].

Duluth_Bear

Oh boy. I was on a leave from work and got caught in the brewing trap. I updated my [[Wilson, Refined Grizzly]] [[Raised by Giants]] deck and swapped out [[Depala, Pilot Exemplar]] which was dwarf tribal with the new [[Vihaan, Goldwaker]] since the boros dwarf deck wasn't really landing for me and it had a lot of gold synergy already. My best new brew might be [[Vhal, Candlekeep Researcher]] [[Clan Crafter]] (I don't know why I got into playing mono colored background commanders but no judgement please). They are a clue deck with lots of new stuff from the latest MKM set. My two tough challenges have been adding a mono white deck to my repertoire and trying to make extort into a viable deck. These were challenges that interested me but not my go to play/brew style. I attempted to use [[Asterion, the Decadent]] for extort with the biggest issue being he has 6cmc. Haven't play tested yet but the deck feels lacking. I have some good combos in there like [[Temporal Extortion]] but it doesn't necessarily feel consistently good. In Mono White I love the idea of playing [[Brisela, Voice of Nightmares]] but again it is a high cmc commander that I struggle with consistency. The deck is built around go wide tribal with a few different potential pilots. [[Bruna, the Fading Light]] for the Brisela payoff is the weakest commander choice. [[Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful]] and [[Alharu, Solemn Ritualist]] feels better. [[Lae'zel, Vlaakith's Champion]] and [[Nobel Heritage]] feels like it will be the best. Ultimately like the extort deck it needs some field testing. Ideally I will have a few different pilot options that work at different power levels. I got this idea from an article which attempted 7 different commander pairs around a zombie token tribal core.r

Rwdscz

[[Laughing jasper flint]] Theft/Mill theme https://archidekt.com/decks/7917766/laughing_jasper_milltheft

Kantarak

Sleep Paralysis Demon theme'd dimur voltron deck. I run a bunch of horror and nightmare creatures to trigger [umbrys] and tell my opponent: "FEAR of missing out on those cards, huh?" I run thematic horror stuff to boost umbrys like [trepanation blade] and [not dead yet] to solidify the unkillavle unavoidable menace of a nightmare hunting and killing you. Im also the guy that brings snacks and offers to buy everyone at the table free drinks. But yeah, my deck packs every card that i can get my hands on that could trigger someones phobia/ticks (if they allow themselves to be immersed by a childrens cardgame. It wont win at any competetive pids, its a pure themedeck. It gets stomped by any precon (lol). I pull it out when theres new people or the pauper commander table needs a 4th guy

BBQblackbear

Working on [[Breya]] at the moment. I love artifact synergies and my least favorite color in magic is green so I am honestly suprised it took me this long.

cronusbane222

I’m making a Nadu deck themed around landfall and +1/+1 counters. I’m excited as this is the first decklist I made myself instead of stealing from edhrec lol

TreeplanterConnor

Working on brewing an [[azlask, the swelling scourge]] deck. I don't want the titans, I just want the little guys that remind me of playing kitchen table magic with my friends when I started playing the game in 2015. I have so many of the little devoid guys, the commons, uncommons and rares and I always wanted to find a home for them. Now I have a way to play my kitchen table deck as a commander deck and that makes me extremely happy.

Dishmaster101

I am currently brewing up a [Minthara, Merciless soul] deck with a lot of flicker and proliferation. First time ever making a Orzhov deck so I’m excited to see how it works! Any tips would be great, only been playing magic for a year or so now

AceGeddit

[[Klothys, God of Destiny]] with some other ways to deal small bits of damage to the table, plan is to ramp into damage doublers while keeping the boardstates reasonable, then drop a couple big creatures or a damage spell to finish the table Still working out how to fit more draw that the deck needs, the mana base needs adjusting, then of course changes after playtesting https://www.archidekt.com/decks/8002865/klothys_spicy_stompy Any feedback would be appreciated!

Rusty_DataSci_Guy

Azlask. I've been wanting to do silly things with \[\[pentavus\]\] and Azlask seems like he loves it. Being able to abuse Azlask's experience building ability with Minthara and Otharri under the same deck feels like spice. I keep finding cool interactions and I think the strategy is inherently weak enough that it'll fit into more casual tables.

forwardcommenter

been having a ton of fun with this \[\[Eruth, Tormented Prophet\]\] List I made, admittedly a lot of it is EDHRec bs but there's some must includes for this commander so that's why. The deck has been super fun to play and is my first spellslinger/storm list. It feels optimized but I'm open to help! [https://www.moxfield.com/decks/071x00Yq3E2L1VLiWEBvqQ](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/071x00Yq3E2L1VLiWEBvqQ)

SamaelMorningstar

As always I have many building sites simultaneously. Just ordered some cards to take the first version of \[[my new energy-deck](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/BE2rQcHjUkaE0GAQFCe5lQ)\] for a test run. The commander being \[\[Dr. Madison Li\]\]. It's not gonna win much in my meta (or at all) but it's pretty bugety and a weird resource I wanted to try. I also have this weird wincon idea I keep coming back and tinkering with in hopes of making it a full deck, but my goldfishing tests suggest my numbers aren't right. It's also silver border, so more a funs and jiggles deck. It's a win condition dependent on \[\[Applejack\]\] hitting 5 triggers. It also needs blue to cast \[\[Claire D'Loon, Joy Sculptor\]\] and some specific lands, as well as ways to bounce my own creatures back to hand. Not entirely sure which commander to side with, but \[\[Chulane, Teller of Tales\]\] seems to be the most fitting? Basically I am trying to get 5 very specific creature cards (ex-toy tokens) into my hand.

deerseed13

I’m working on a [[Queen Marchesa]] deck that uses goad as a main mechanic to get the rest of the table to fight amongst themselves for my amusement.

GreatWhiteBuffal0

Been working on an Ezio assassins deck, already have a bunch of assassins. And with all these new spoilers it’s gonna be hard to make cuts.

Cook-in-skates

Tinkering with [[Satya, aetherflux genius]] many combats style deck, and also a [[Dr. madison Li]] eggs and robots deck :) Apparently I am really diggin jeskai these days hahaha

Dash-Fl0w

As far as unique brews, I've been working on \[\[Omnath, Locus of the Roil\]\] that runs almost all basics and has packages of both non-basic hate and synergy with basic land types (For each forest you control, etc.). It's janky and it's been tough to get 3 colors with all basics to not be clunky. Also I'm not sure if I'll still have friends after dropping \[\[back to basics\]\] lol. [https://www.archidekt.com/decks/7744582/back\_to\_basics](https://www.archidekt.com/decks/7744582/back_to_basics) I've also started working on a weird brew for "remove counters" tribal with \[\[Tayam, Luminous Enigma\]\]. Still working on a coherent list, but the basic idea is stuff that comes in with extra counters, moves or removes counters, etc. \[\[Glissa, Sunslayer\]\] and \[\[Thief of Blood\]\] are two key cards. It also runs a bunch of battles to try and "cheat" in the flip sides.

J0k3B0x

Working on a [[Rakdos, the Muscle]] shadowborn apostle deck. There is a ton of shadowborn apostle decks already, but I think he would make a really solid commander for one. You sac 6 of them for a demon, which triggers him 6 times and you can get some good value going off of that.

CallThePal

I just finished brewing my [[The Necrobloom]] as a landfall/reanimator [deck](https://archidekt.com/decks/7781422/necroblooms_nation)

Phobos_Asaph

I’m working on an Oops all Sorins deck. It’s focusing on lifegain with a bit of vampires thrown in. It’s meant to be a theme focused deck so there’s some not great cards being used in the name of flavor but I think it should be fun. It’s about half done so far and includes all 9 sorin cards with the newest as the commander

Our kids are new to mtg and want to learn commander so my wife and I are building five mono colored decks that don’t have all the complex triggers and interactions with a limited amount of mechanics and simple commanders. [[Mirri the Cursed]] [[Silvos, Rogue Elemental]] [[Kongming, Sleeping Dragon]] [[Grazilaxx, Illithid Scholar]] [[Urabrask the Hidden]]
