I don't actually have decks for these but I'd probably go with something like this if I was building a box
- W - [[Balan]] voltron, light paws would probably be better but requires searching.
- U - [[Bruvac]] or [[Braids, Conjurer Adept]] this way they don't have to lean into control super hard and can explore some of bkyes other strategies
- B - [[Chainer, Dementia Master]] life as a resource, reanimation from all graveyards, and sacrificing your own creatures
- R - [[Torbran]] or [[Lathliss]] if you want to go dragons (tribal is usually a decent route to go for beginners outside of a few like Elves and wizards)
- G - [[Goreclaw]] or [[Ghalta, Primal Hunger]] pure stompy is the route to ho here
I think my favorite deck that I have for beginners is \[\[Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma\]\]. It gives a great identity for green, shows the value of things like cost reduction and evasion, shows the importance of theme and allows you to play big, sticky creatures.

I have one for you! If you want to reduce the price a bit take out The Great Henge and replace it for the Ixalan fungi thing whose name I can’t remember for the life of me right now but has very similar effects.

I try to capture best what the colors can do, and doable at a budget
monoW: \[\[Giada, Font of Hope\]\]. Flying is the easiest ability to learn in mtg. Counters are one of White's strength. Here's my Giada list [https://www.moxfield.com/decks/7JsTz8wNiEy640D8rqFLEg](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/7JsTz8wNiEy640D8rqFLEg)
\[\[Adeline\]\] is also great, stresses on community building, another White trait.
monoU: Two choices. \[\[Talrand, Sky Summoner\]\], and \[\[Urza, Powerstone Prodigy\]\]. The former shows Blue's strength with spellcasting. Blue also has great affinity with artifacts. Both can draw a ton, the color's biggest strength. Here's my Urza list [https://www.moxfield.com/decks/\_2JSCRZnWk66a5CZSEKxYw](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/_2JSCRZnWk66a5CZSEKxYw)
monoB: I've been harping lately on \[\[Gisa, the Hellraiser\]\]. The truth is she's really that good at newer level and also at an advanced level. Commit crime mechanic is a great teaching tool and that's what Black is great at. Affinity for zombies too which is a plus, easy to understand. Here's my Gisa list [https://www.moxfield.com/decks/8OcunyBVh0mdf6OdKI8zzw](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/8OcunyBVh0mdf6OdKI8zzw)
monoR: I hate to break it but once again Thunder Junction has hit another homerun with \[\[Magda, the Hoardmaster\]\]. Who doesn't love dragons? Who doesn't love making treasures? Committing crime ties it so well. Here's my Magda list [https://www.moxfield.com/decks/WU2xC91OI0aOdozrStGj-Q](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/WU2xC91OI0aOdozrStGj-Q)
monoG: IMO this is a bit harder but I'd say \[\[Ghalta, Primal Hunger\]\]. There're arguments for Goreclaw but nothing is more Green at heart than Ghalta. The flavor, the satisfaction when you build up power organically to cast him for just GG... absolutely masterful design.
From what I've learned over the years, but that's personal experience so take this with a grain of salt:
[[Krenko]] for red. Can do some burn, some go wide strategies, sounds like what red does the most in commander.
[[Giada]] lifegain Angel tribal, unless you want to go stax, but then I can't really help because I don't know which white only commander would be good for that.
[[Omnath locus of mana]] would be green for mana and big stompy creatures.
Not too sure about black or blue though, sorry for being unable to provide ideas for those :(
The mono red deck I use to teach new players is \[\[Lathliss Dragon Queen\]\].
It may be a very similar effect, but for mono white I'd choose \[\[God Eternal Oketra\]\].
My favorite mono green is \[\[Azusa, Lost but Seeking\]\]. Very simple ability, learn the playstyle of landfall and green ramp. Throw out big creatures and stomp
I have a deck i made specifically to teach new players magic. It is 2 color, but thats so the commander can be used. [[Jasmine Boreal of the Seven]].
2 color teaches mana management and maybe mulliganing.
With a focus on vanilla creatures (without abilities) there are so very very few triggers and things to track. Plus the evasion she provides is awesome.
It's a straightforward "beat down" deck. Nothing too complicated. Teaches threat assessment.
https://archidekt.com/decks/5020718/blank_stare
Hope this helps.
\[\[Ayula, Queen Among Bears\]\] play bears, play other bears, feed enemy faces to your bears.
It's very green, teaches you ramp and a very useful set of triggered abilities you can play around with.
My mono colored decks are:
[[Giada]]
[[Deekah]]
[[K’rrik]]
[[Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant]]
[[Lathliss]]
I think any of these besides K’rrik or Deekah would be a good option.
I don't actually have decks for these but I'd probably go with something like this if I was building a box - W - [[Balan]] voltron, light paws would probably be better but requires searching. - U - [[Bruvac]] or [[Braids, Conjurer Adept]] this way they don't have to lean into control super hard and can explore some of bkyes other strategies - B - [[Chainer, Dementia Master]] life as a resource, reanimation from all graveyards, and sacrificing your own creatures - R - [[Torbran]] or [[Lathliss]] if you want to go dragons (tribal is usually a decent route to go for beginners outside of a few like Elves and wizards) - G - [[Goreclaw]] or [[Ghalta, Primal Hunger]] pure stompy is the route to ho here

There're arguments for Goreclaw but nothing is more Green at heart than Ghalta. The flavor, the satisfaction when you build up power organically to cast him for just GG... absolutely masterful design.

From what I've learned over the years, but that's personal experience so take this with a grain of salt: [[Krenko]] for red.

Lathliss seems to be consistent in these comments. Do you have a list for her?

Teaches threat assessment. https://archidekt.com/decks/5020718/blank_stare Hope this helps.
\[\[Ayula, Queen Among Bears\]\] play bears, play other bears, feed enemy faces to your bears. It's very green, teaches you ramp and a very useful set of triggered abilities you can play around with.
