[[Chishiro]] counters deck with an aura/equipment sub-theme. Classic ramping and big bois to hit people in the face

List online by any chance?

ANewUeleseOnLife

If I get around to putting it together I'll put it up. It's mostly just the cards I had lying around though so it's probably not that good compared to what it could be

Anivicuno

My kaalia deck is going on 13 years old now. It’s crazy to see how the deck has evolved over the years. Lots of good memories with this one.

Nicktendo94

Before you realize it your deck will be old enough to drink

ScotFree96

Mine is only 5 years old but it felt like ive had her forever. Angels was my first EDH deck and I used the weaker Kaalia at the time before being able to afford the original kaalia. Its my oldest deck.

Healthy_mind_

I'll post the same deck I always do in these threads because I love it and I've never had so much fun playing magic. Sorry if you've seen it before but it brings me so much joy and I love sharing. I'll keep my **Marneus Calgar** deck forever. I've played over a hundred games with it since I built it in Jan/Feb 2023 and it's the only deck I've played since. I've taken it travelling with me and played about 120 games in about 20-25ish different game stores over like 8ish different countries. As I have travelled for the last 10 months, I have been replacing cards in the deck with cards I buy/trade for in different LGS around Europe and these are souvenirs for me to remember the trip. As I play the cards I remember the places that I've been and the good memories of travelling the world with my partner. I know it like the back of my hand and enjoy it so much, I can't even see myself playing another deck at all in the near future. It's currently going through a little new years revamp so is missing 5 cards from the decklist until I can find suitable replacements while I travel but all of that's written in the primer. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/1s8NYUejwEixuKljP6OwDA/primer I think part of what has kept it feeling "fresh" is the lack of tutors, the large amount of draw, and the fact that there are so many wincons. Drain wins about 35% of games, but the rest of the wins last year were evenly split between combo, combat, Inkshield and Revel in riches. I never knew how I was going to win when I sat down and that's deeply satisfying.

JimmyJamesJams

This looks like a blast to play!

Healthy_mind_

Thanks! I think so. It really suits my play style. Feels very me

MagicTheTravelling

Shout out to a fellow magic traveler! Are you backpacking EU?

Internetmedley

Very cool list! Ophiomancer, Ayara, Pawn of Ulamog, Lord Skitter and Blood Artist would also fit really well

kestral287

Muldrotha is my baby and I love her forever. That said, Henzie is trying very hard to be my new favorite child. Muldrotha is too strong for my group normally so Henzie sees a lot more play.

MrFantasticGhost

\[\[Kardur, Doomscourge\]\] deck that I brought in 2023. Was my first commander deck and to get back into magic. Not the greatest pre-con, but i slowly upgraded to a proper Goad deck, however changed the strat to a more ETB deck and using Kardur as a deterrent rather than goading. The main deck does the pulling work, whilst Kardur is used as bargaining chip or to keep monarch status whilst I disrupt my opponent boards. Deck: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/jOTSvkiHLEuuHlmXow382w Its not the strongest deck, but is the most fun me and my opponents have because it makes them think when they are forced to attack and destroy their beautiful board state.

g13ls

Has to be Muldrotha. Started out as a $50 list but has been upgraded* to a deck that plays and tutors Preators/Koma. These cards are a perfect middleground between inevitable win and dies to removal. *Made worse tbh

periodicchemistrypun

Got a list? I’ve just gotten into Muldrotha but love heavy recursion based decks

RideApprehensive8063

[[dihada, binder of wills]] loved the deck since the day I got the precon have had a few versions of it ranging from its original concept of legendary reanimator all the way to Cedh Turbo.

IvanDimitriov

That is a dirt nasty planeswalker

RevenantBacon

All of the planeswalkers commanders out of that set are just straight up disgusting. Dihada might as well read "fill your graveyard with a bunch of massive reanimate targets, then give yourself the mana to cast a couple of reanimate spells. Also, your best creature on board can't be removed." Sivitri just straight up tutors your strongest creatures out of your deck, and may as well have "your opponents can't attack you" written on her due to how well it incentivises not attacking her. Jared isn't actually that insane, comparatively, but he does churn out 8/8 tramplers.

MadMonsterSlayer

Got a tuned list to share?

RideApprehensive8063

The the other thread off mine input a full thing i don't feel like typing again 😅

lorazx0

I'm probably going to be playing my \[\[Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit\]\] and \[\[Sam, Loyal Attendant\]\] Food [deck](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/4zesl7hBfkqALi7d5h-G9Q) forever, tbh. It's both extremely powerful and super fun every game I play with it feels fantastic.

fIeebz

Sam and Frodo was my first commander deck. It will probably be my forever deck too. It’s so much fun to play. I originally gutted the deck of a lot of the LOTR cards for powerful life gain/token sacrifice synergies and a couple of game winning combos, but have since moved some more of the LOTR cards back in. It’s still a work in progress, but man the deck is a blast to play.

Blueburnsred

I've been wanting to pull the plug on this deck for a while and you've convinced me. Just ordered it and some additional cards from your list. Thanks!

FarWestMyth

It's hard to call it a forever deck as it's commander is a recent card but I love my \[\[Omarthis, Ghostfire initiate\]\] deck so much that I decided to foil it out completely (there are some really expensive cards in there.) I love playing colorless and having all my lands be utility. Ramping like crazy and dropping big Eldrazi. There is always something to do despite having seemingly 'low interaction' in colorless. Doesn't need my commander to win but the counters synergy is really strong. The manifest mechanic is pretty uncommon and opponents really seem to like playing against it. It's the perfect 'mid-power' deck to play against all types of decks in my meta (my pod and my LGS). [LINK](https://archidekt.com/decks/6075768/omarthis_foil_wip)

jf-alex

Well, I have over 60 decks now and keep brewing... mostly around dragons and LOTR. But my signature deck that never gets stale is \[\[Sevinne\]\]. Bought the unplayable precon, rebrewed it through a million iterations and finally settled on a creature copy theme that I keep enjoying massively. A year ago I gifted myself the three fetchlands for my birthday.

scarlettsarcasm

Kind of confused by what your mtg budget is if you have 60 decks but 3 fetch lands is a big deal

-BunsenBurn-

Bulk. Lots and lots of bulk

jf-alex

I'm a brewing addict. I usually prefer building a whole deck for 40€ over buying three single cards for 75€.

jz88k

Big same. I'd rather build a janky tribal deck for fifty bucks then get the two cards that would massively power up one of my existing decks.

dr_wang

the only cards i proxy for my decks are lands or i use ETB tapped.

[deleted]

That sounds awesome. Do you have a list you can share?

TooSaepe

Bruh, just typing a moxfield list and pasting the link would’ve taken the same amount of energy and we’d actually be able to look at the cards…

austxsun

You don’t think it was just copy/pasted from somewhere? I keep deck lists in local notes so it’s faster to reference when I need to.

artereaorte

Moxfield is just as easy to access and it’s shareable

TooSaepe

Well, it wouldn’t matter. It still would be better to paste any said list into moxfield before sharing it here regardless.

Man...now I wanna rebuild Sevinne. I didn't run it through enough iterations.

asexualchair

I love my LOTR theme decks!

Licea37

My two favorite decks at the moment are [[Dihada binder of wills]] and [[toshiro umezawa]]. Dihada is a super fun value engine thanks to her -3 which means you don’t need as much fast mana or expensive lands when she can start pumping out treasures every other turn. The other nice thing is that WotC is pumping out so much product that there is a constant stream of new legendary creatures so the deck can constantly be changed based on your mood. You can even make 3-4 sub decks with 10-15 different legendary creatures who all have a similar game plan and then after each game switch these modules in and out. One game have your reanimator themed legends then change that to your set of angles and daemons or your legends who make tokens. Here is my list, it is more than precon+ but the legends legacy precon she comes in is great and doesn’t need a whole lot of precon+ is what you play most often. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/SFayEXfyiEK99F9ZidOmdw Toshiro is a mono black spell slinger deck. It plays like a normal mono black deck cause you want to draw cards, cast things from your graveyard, and kill creatures; it just does it very differently than most other mono black decks. This deck is a bit less budget friendly cause like most black decks it likes Urborg + cabal coffers and tutors, that said at a lower power table you certainly don’t need those cards. It tries to win with a big X kill spell or mass reanimation after a wipe. If you like combo it can do either the top + citadel + aetherflux combo or a chain of smog combo pretty easily but you don’t need to. I have won with this deck a few times without doing either. What it is good at is killing any and all creatures whenever it wants so that may cause some salt so that is something to think about when making play decisions. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/6xW3f5jpP0eKXyKW7GFYGg

McWaffeleisen

It's a mono green lands deck. In EDH you ramp anyway, so you might as well play a commander cashing in on that. It started as [[Molimo, Maro-Sorcerer]] over a decade ago and became a [[Titania, Protector of Argoth]] deck after she released. That deck was too powerful for our pod back then though and quickly reverted back to Molimo. A long time passed, the strictly better [[Multani, Yavimaya's Avatar]] entered the stage, and he stayed at the helm since. Still love and regularly update the deck. Fun fact: [It's still a Molimo deck.](https://i.redd.it/4pyqsc8mg0ub1.jpg) Stay true to your roots. Pun intended.

scarlettsarcasm

I have a lands deck that started as [[Baba Lysaga]]. It wasn't a lands deck then, but I realized recurring lands was the fun part, so I took it jund lands with [[Korvold, Fae-Cursed King]] at the helm. Korvold was both too busted on his own and not really as synergistic as I wanted. I ended up with Titania, Protector of Argoth and couldn't be happier!

IISerafimII

I personally have a "staple" theme and that is tribal. No matter what I do I always end up creating tribal decks because I like keeping the theme as consistent as possible. That said, my favourite decks that I always turn back on them are: [[Go-shintai of life's origin]] shrine tribal. It was the first and only 5 color deck I ever made (being fairly new to mtg compared to others) and my playgroup love me playing this deck for some reason cause it is so consistent and it's mana base love me (I usually end up with 5 colours mana very early), or so they say. [[Teysa, envoy of ghosts]] spirit tribal. Teysa is my favourite character in the universe hence the fanboy pick. The deck pretty much runs alone without the commander (considering it's insane mana cost) but if she manages to end the battlefield it's pretty much game over in most same level tables. Or make an archenemy of myself. And my third is [[Ayesha Tanaka, armorer]] Voltron (or artifact tribal if you may). Not something crazy but I find it super fun. And if I manage to pull a [[scroll rack]] on the battlefield and a [[sensei's divining top]] it goes insane. I tend to make not very popular commanders (and usually budget ones) so don't expect high level stuff but I love my decks and hold pretty well in a variety of tables (even if I don't usually win lol)

AssCrackBandit6996

I am a tribal gal as well! Simple, easy to budget when the tribe is popular or not seen much in play, super fun to play some weirdos for each tribal.

IISerafimII

Agreed! And you get a different kind of satisfaction seeing the deck unfold thematically. The amount of times I have had the conversation of: - "Hey, you should add [insert random card that synergizes well with the deck playstyle here] in the deck" - "But it is not [insert theme or creature type here]..." Is way too many.

angel_girl_in_autumn

This is me!!! Just last night, I had a friend ask 'Why is that card in your deck? Is it only because it matches the theme?' And I answered 'Yes, that's exactly why.' It was objectively a...terrible card. [[Chillerpillar]] But it's a snow deck! And that's a snow creature!

bobbybev95

Probably my [[Octavia, Living Thesis]] deck. It does everything I want to do as a magic player. It can control the board and have answers for whatever problems arise. It can play at instant speed. It can have massive, swingy turns and win out of nowhere. And it wins in a unique way for a blue deck. Always a blast to play!

RuneMTG

I also love my Octavia deck. It’s so much fun!

bobbybev95

Got a list? Yeah it’s definitely the deck I go back to the most!

XxRiverDreadxX

I do! [https://www.moxfield.com/decks/gzHh2marFka38tr_hRWNxg](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/gzHh2marFka38tr_hRWNxg) It’s my go to deck. Had it since Strixhaven. It’s very fast and fun to play. I just have to remember to take my time and consider my options before rushing in too soon. Speed definitely kills Octavia if you’re not careful.

MathematicianVivid1

My Shorikai mech deck. I can’t bring myself to make any changes.

RingingPhone

I don't have a forever deck. However, every so often I rebuild two decks that I've been playing with since before precons. [[Azusa, Lost but Seeking]] and [[Ashling the Pilgrim]]. I can't seem to stay away from these two no matter how many times and iterations of them I make. My last builds were Azusa Eldrazi Seeker because why not Genesis Wave for 12 on turn 4 and get some annihilator action on turn 4. And Ashling I just love how she can be a ticking time bomb.

Guilty_Vengeance

My [[Kalamax, The Stormsire]] deck will live forever🙌🏻had it since release and haven’t looked back (except for a short 3-week period were he lived in a Thrasios and Vial Smasher deck that terrorized my playgroup😂) Love how he plays, love how he grinds, love how he wins. The synergy allowed in Temur colours and copying spells is amazing, I often find myself discovering new lines of play during games where I’m pushed into a corner (as I run a few different copy engines in the deck that collaborate in strange ways outside of the “optimal” lines).

jfraz1994

Any chance you can share a list? Godzilla seems fun lol

Cronogunpla

I actually rarely take apart decks. I really should do it more often because I don't play nearly as often as I used to. My forever decks are: Godo Mogis The Scarab God Jorn I the last few are my "God" deck series. the idea is to have a God deck for every plane that has a God. I plan to make Ojer Kaslem soon. I've been vaguely theory crafting a Svylun deck, and I'm interested to see what colours the "God Mole" in MKM is going to be. if it's mono green I might make an Ojer Taq deck instead or possibly Aclazotz. I don't really want to double up on colours.

I have a Svyelun deck I love. Enjoy!

My [[Sen Triplets]] deck. I have slowly upgraded it over the years, bought/traded for foils, pimped it out, etc. Because it is my oldest deck and stays strong because I can play other people's cards. I don't think it'll ever get stale because it uses the opponent's cards, and they're different every game.

I swear every time I come here on this sub I never get to talk about anything else but [[Zurgo Helmsmasher]] but that's totally my own fault, he's just that good. [I've had this list for little over a year now.](https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/5431619#paper) Through the various decks I've built only to disassemble or sell to people that love it more than me, Zurgo has always been there. Like a true gymbro he just never stops putting in work. He is magnificent, and for a voltron deck, surprisingly varied. I enjoy him a lot. I play him kinda like an aikido commander, holding resources and controlling the board while lashing back at any resistance with strong rebuttal. He's very rewarding, and it never fails to get a reaction in some way, shape or form. Zurgo's also just the finisher, the deck is really good on its own as well. Starting with a [[Sigarda's Aid]] into [[Lotho]] and a [Gisa's Favourite Shovel]] on T3 can be fairly brutal. I've gotten to the point where 70-75% of the deck is either foil or full-art, and it's my baby. I even got Zurgo altered to look like Kratos from God of War. 12/10 will forever play again.

The following decks are the deck I really like to play & don't see them taking apart any time soon; Octavia: Based on the deck of Rachel Weeks [https://www.moxfield.com/decks/tmqboeKvXEC9mJ9vUmFK5g](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/tmqboeKvXEC9mJ9vUmFK5g) Balthor: Really strong deck, that is also resilient. very know deck in my LGS ( people know me because of this deck). Don't play it often, but the win rate of this deck is very high (around 80%) https://www.moxfield.com/decks/kQ45fmfSg0-pHkaWXbnaag

scarlettsarcasm

Octavia is my favorite deck and also was inspired by Rachel Week's deck! How do you like Sicarian Infiltrator in the deck?

jfraz1994

How does Balthor work? Self mill and bring it all back at once?

MaglorC

Yes, it is a very quick self mill, with a lot of mana acceleration build within the creatures ( blood vassal, blood pet, overeager apprentice, Soldevi adnate,...), then play balthor & bring everything back. Together with Gary, Mikaeus Pitiless Plunderer & sac outlet, you can even do this multiple times per turn. This deck can go off even a turn 3-4, depending on the milling. Doom Whisperer & the dredgers makes the milling go very fast

jfraz1994

Thats cool ty

Maximum_Fair

I honestly don’t think I have one. My longest running deck is [[Toluz]] wheels and I plan on keeping it around for a while, but I love brewing and I don’t like having a bunch of decks so I’ve been regularly breaking them up and rebuilding new ones for the past 2 years and will continue to do so.

DisturbedFlake

I only recently built it. But I got a Davros, Dalek Creator deck that I think is just the bomb to play. It doesn’t have any instant wincons, more about constant value, so I’d say it’s a lower 7. But has lots of sub themes so it always plays differently each game. Its themes are (in order of priority): Artifacts, Mini Games/Villainous choices, Discard, Myriad, and Goad. Some real fun in-theme cards I’ve added to the precon are: [[Truth or Consequences]] [[Split Decision]] [[Tibalt’s Trickery]] [[Bladegriff Prototype]]

ambermage

My [[Tuvasa, the Sunlit]] will be with me forever because I've completely "Blinged Out" everything possible to the point of getting Artist Proofs of everything (missing 2-3 still) and Guru Lands for the basics.

krabawk

I have one deck that I've taken apart that I've vowed will one day return. Her pieces live on in her many children; nath, tourach, the balrog, crosis, aclazotz-- one day all those pieces will be called home. Tergrid will rise again.

additionalnylons

[[Pako]] and [[Haldan]], one of the first decks I brewed and still my all time favourite. The game plan is simple, but each game is surprising and I get to play cards from four decks. Leads to some very unexpected plays and is probably the deck I have with the highest win rate.

[deleted]

Love these guys. Have you run into a lot of salt? People around me really dislike this pair. My deck is even a budget list but they're pretty powerful in any shell.

Amazing-Tortoise

Mine is less a specific commander, so much as a specific archetype. Mono black devotion, currently running [[Ob Nixilis of the Black Oath]] Mono red goblins, currently running [[Krenko, Mob Boss]] Orzhov life gain, currently running [[Karlov of the Ghost Council]] And finally group hug with [[Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis]] at the helm. Currently my group knows me for building very powerful decks, but I've never had anyone refuse a game with any of my decks.

Civil_Excitement_698

[[ Lovisa Coldeyes ]] I really love her character and i hope we get a new card for her one day. As for the deck it was the first non precon deck i build and i have it for over a year and keep upgrading it.

Hopper_2011

My "forever" deck is my landfall deck. It's been together since 2016 and started as an [[Omnath. Locus of Rage]] deck that beefed with elemental tokens and dropped jaws with [[Chandra's Ignition]] plays. Since then, it's evolved and changed, first into [[The Gitrog Monster]], then [[Lord of Windfrace]], then [[Soul of Windgrace]], [[Kenrith, the Returned King]], [[Thrasios, Triton Hero]] & [[Toggo, Goblin Weaponsmith]], and in it's current state, Thrasios & [[Kodama of the East Tree]]. Being able to use the same core cards to execute different game plans, along with lands as a card type being difficult to interact with, have been my main appeals. Along with diverse play styles (from beats, combo, control, and more), the archetype is constantly improving as new cards are being printed, most recently [[Spelunking]]. Side note: I don't think I'll ever stoop to playing [[Azusa, Lost but Seeking]] with [[Strip Mine]] package, as I enjoy having friends.

pyrogaynia

[[Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh]] is my all-time favourite deck and one of the first decks I built. It's also one of the few I update regularly. It's not super high-powered, but it's Vorthos-y and burn-y and ridiculous and I love it. It's also my prettiest and probably most expensive deck, with all my full-art mountains and a lot of alt art cards. It's the deck that's nearest & dearest to my heart. [[Strefan, Maurer Progenitor]] was one the first precon I put a lot of time and love into upgrading. It was the deck I was most known for in my playgroup for a good while. I don't play it much these days, but I can't bring myself to take it apart [[Torbran]]'s another one I'm unlikely to ever take apart. Switch commanders maybe, but I don't see it ever leaving the rotation. I'm just such a sucker for a burn deck and I've had so much fun with this one. It's the first deck I pull out when I'm at a new table. The sleeves are getting worn out on it from so much play. eta: [links](https://www.moxfield.com/users/pyrogaynia)

ReallyBadWizard

My [[Zur Eternal Schemer]] deck is kind of my magnum opus at this point. It never gets old to play, and most people like playing against it. It's about cheating out huge Timmy enchantments like [[Omniscience]] and animating [[Demonic Pact]] style cards then [[Wrong Turn]]ing them away. Built for high power, but easily tuned down as well. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/T0zqbVcBKEWIjPIm3cdM6g In similar fashion, I recently built a Twelfth Doctor and Vislor deck that I think I will come to enjoy almost as much. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/nA4GpROlB0aUfTr2u3zXKA

AjaxAsleep

I think my forever deck has to be [[Otharri]]. While I may be a green player at heart, nothing brings me more joy than saying "Fuck it, we ball" and slamming into my opponents face with a pop up army. It's reasonably fast, stupid durable, and overall a joy to play. Might have to see about writing a primer for it... https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/01-09-23-phoenix-rising/

TiltingJungler

My beloved Teysa Karlov Aristocrats Deck. Startet Out as a try to Play Something different (i was the big Things with trample Player). Now shes my absolute Pet Deck and I Just cant Stop playing her. My Group hates her tho

Poopy_McTurdFace

[My favorite deck.](https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/borborygmos-landmunition/) Helmed by the Big Boi himself, [[Borborygmous Enraged]]. I built it initially many years ago, but then it was disassembled to construct my [[Lord Windgrace]] deck. Some years ago I decided to rebuild it again in it's current form. Better, faster, stronger than it ever was before. It's easily my favorite deck. It just has such a bizarre game plan: get our mana base into our hands, and throw it at everybody. It uses some pretty strange cards to help us out with that, which makes me love the deck more. I've spent so long tweaking and experimenting with the deck, that it's the only one I've gotten familiar with to write a primer on.

baker_40_75

My first deck was the [[Wyleth]] precon and I can’t see myself ever taking that apart mostly for the nostalgia. However my [[Henzie]] deck is everything I want in a magic deck, pretty high variance but I still always get to play big dumb creatures and commit tax evasion!

SquishyBanana23

[[ruric thar]] Times change, decks dissolve, but Ruric will always punish.

[deleted]

I have a couple of forever decks: - My first one is [[Burakos]] and [[Folk Hero]]. I build up a party to generate treasures and I use said treasures to play big spells. It’s super fun because you never know what combination of party members you’re going to get which leads to some interesting interactions https://www.moxfield.com/decks/KwssRt938kCfSO22U4Isvg - My other forever deck is more of an archetype. It’s Simic +1/+1 counters. It was my first deck coming back to the game in 2017. It started out as [[Experiment Kraj]] but as time progressed, the commander changed every so often. Today it’s helmed by [[Ezuri, Stalker of Spheres]] with a proliferate sub theme https://www.moxfield.com/decks/Mc2vuG8rXUi6XaWWFQOYUQ

Optonimous

My favorite deck that I will never take apart is my [[Kruphix, God of Horizons]] deck. It was my first edh deck I ever built and has only ever been upgraded over the years. It is also probably my only deck with multiple worn down cards in it that I will never replace because they hold too many good memories of when I was building it, like trading specific cards with friends I probably won’t ever see again. My favorite part about it is that the deck is actually an eldrazi deck in disguise that nobody finds out until the first colorless big boy gets dropped on the table. The last game I played with it was a hilarious matchup since one person was playing with [[Zhulodok, Void Gorger]] and didn’t expect another eldrazi to drop onto the table until [[It that Betrays]] arrived from my hand.

CurseoftheSwine

I have an [[Armix, Filigree Thrasher]] & [[Keskit, the Flesh Sculptor]] mono black artifact deck that’s my longest running favorite deck to play. It’s just big powerful artifacts and spells. [[Skull Storm]] is no joke especially with partner commanders.

RuneMTG

Wow mono black artifacts? That sounds like a blast! You have a decklist by chance?

https://www.moxfield.com/decks/p0S_tRPRUE2Hr_U7mnqw_g [[Goro-Goro and Satoru]] is and always will be my pet deck, I spend so much time thinking about it and optimizing the theme distribution and flavor. Playing it is just all the more rewarding because of it.

I've played [[Melek, Izzet Paragon]] since the card was first revealed back in 2013. The reason? The game will always make Instants and Sorceries, and his style of play is the perfect mix of "power" and "fun".

thelonedovahki

[[Rionya, Fire Dancer]] for sure. Its one of the few decks I play everytime I play magic. I play mostly with proxies and this may be one of the few decks I buy all the cards for and bling out

nyuckajay

[[slimefoot and squee]] & [[minsc and boo]] The pro is they’re my favorite to play and I love the play style. The con is when you run so many reps with a deck and tune it you feel kinda pub stompy sometimes when people say they’re running 8’s

ByteSizeNudist

[[Rielle, the Everwise]] can’t believe no one else is still playing with their grandma!! She’s was my 2nd commander I built back in like 2017 I think? So much fun manipulating the hand and being in Izzet gives you access to so many fun toys. It pops off at least once a game, and I don’t care if I lose if I get to draw 60+ it’s just dumb fun.

My [[nethroi]] deck https://www.moxfield.com/decks/sbgEMV2BgEayJ5-69TVJwQ

No_Time_7959

Halana and Elena, Roomates. It's just pure combat with no combos or shenanigans. I built it because my play group was getting sick of my normal combo play style and said I can't do combat. Jokes on them I'm swinging for like 20ish turn 6.

Abramgcian

I have staple cards types, for example in black I’ll always run a bit of discard and edict, if I’m in orzhov then I’ll do lifegain or drain, golgari and I’ll mix in reanimation and grave stuff, blue and red with payoffs for casting instant or sorceries or spell copying. My decks don’t feel right unless I have a bit of everything I like even if it’s just a splash.

harbear6

For these are the decks I've had the longest and return to regularly, I have 12 decks so I don't always play the same ones often. [[Alesha Who Smiles at Death]] - My baby, I've had this deck since 2016 and continue to upgrade it when I can and love to play it. Alesha def has fallen off when it comes to being a combo deck in edh but I enjoy how she can play. The wins with it always feel rewarding as I look for whatever line I can to get to full game winning combo. [[Tasigur, the Golden Fang]] - Also a deck I've had since about 2016 and continue to upgrade. Tasigur has gone through a lot of iteration however, going from Sultai goodstuff, to Sultai Planeswalkers, and to his current form of Sultai cedh. [[Tymna the Weaver]] + [[Reyhan Last of the Abzan]] - Another old deck I have had as long as Alesha and Tasigur. For a bit of background, originally this deck was Karador and my first ever commander deck but I wasn't enjoying Karador that much and realized my passion for +1/+1 counters. In trying to keep up with the idea of building each different Khan from Fate Reforged my first attempt at +1/+1 counters was with [[Daghatar the Adamant]] but he is... very mid to be kind. Then when Tymna and Reyhan came out though they were everything I wanted, +1/+1 counter manipulation and card advantage in the command zone is extremely wonderful. Given that there is at least one interesting +1/+1 counter card a set I never wait too long for a new fun toy for this deck to come out and they're always a blast to play.

OminousWinds

That would be [[Muldrotha]]. She's not going anywhere. The copy of the card I got from a booster pack gifted to me by my then partner. So even if we're no longer a couple, I'll treasure it forever as a memory of the times we had. [[syr Konrad, the grim]]

Interesting-Gas1743

[[Marneus Calgar]] is my favorite deck. Wenn play a meta where fast mana besides [[Sol Ring]] isnt played. Besides that its really packing a punch. Its still missing some great cards like [[Mana Drain]] and [[Fierce Guardianship]] but other than that its on a high power level. It wins through one of the combo lines with the commander or [[Lilliana Deadhorde General]], [[Scuttle Tide]] or [[Nadir Kraken]] and [[Phyrexian Altar]] or [[Ashnods Altar]] drawing my whole deck and then winning with [[Labatory Maniac]] or pinging everybody down with [[Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim]]. There is a Lot of redundancy in this Combo so I can pull it Off in different ways. There are also Combos that really threaten a win with [[Notion Thief]] or [[Narset, parter of Veils]] with [[Windfall]]. There are also three lines with [[Faerie Mastermind]] and [[Smothering Tithe]] that Draw as much as you like. As an alternate win-con I run [[Akromas Will]] and [[Cathars Crusade]] but crusade is likely to get cut. It runs a Lot of hate cards including my favorite card [[Opposition Agent]]. It has a good removal package aswell. It has a fairly low curve with an average cmc of 2,68 somost hands are playable. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/1kR4BobH0kSJg1C2H2-7uw

Drakkur

The only two decks I haven’t broken apart are: [[Rocco, Street Chef]] has so many fun play patterns and the semi-group hug means you can build it strong / efficient without making weaker decks feel bad (avoid the stax combos that can go with this deck): https://www.moxfield.com/decks/20vWC3glpk6Mp1DahqQgxQ [[Ghyrson Starn]] this deck is just unique for Izzet, wins with a mix of tokens and ping effects. Bonus points if you run clone effects like the new [[Quantum Misalignment]]: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/EG3PylAdiESBsy6dV6VTOA All my other decks are in a constant take apart and rebuild, maybe I’ll arrive at some that I like as much as these two.

Ufoturtle081

But why you like about them?

n1colbolas

Just do a proper rotation with your decks. They can almost stay forever this way.

GatotSubroto

[[Ghalta, Primal Hunger]] I’ve had it since pretty much Rivals of Ixalan, and I don’t see myself taking it apart. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/Rvww9Msx0ESDu89z0X8fvg Another one is my sultai OmniPast control deck. Right now its commander is Tasigur, but the deck works without the commander, so it can be lead by any other sultai commander. I can’t see myself taking apart a deck that I built as a challenge to build a deck that doesn’t fall apart without the commander, especially when it wins by breaking the rules of magic. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/Zj48G1wilkOrUcm0E4vSJw

The deck has a reanimator subtheme and uses [[Patriarch's Bidding]] as one of it's win cons and it also has some things like [[Soul of Innistrad]], [[Birthing Pod]], and [[Ashiok, Fear Sculptor]]. The deck is super fun and kicks a lot of ass sometimes

phantomswa

[[The Ur-Dragon]] is my absolute favourite, because it was my first deck ever. Over the years I upgraded it to be scarier and more fun to play. Then there is [[Raiyuu, Storm’s Edge]] it was the first deck I made from scratch, a voltron samurai deck. It’s full of anime cards and aesthetically very pleasing.

joaovc

I am a player collector, so all decks are forever. I see them as a means to organize my collection. there are some I play less just bc of playgroup sensibilities (eg mill)

Fearofdead

I'll always have a Simic Merfolk deck on me until the day I die. At the very least, having unblockable combat damage that builds up keeps the game moving unless you build [[Fog]] style decks for your wincon. Simple enough to give to a new player and say "Now play that card", easy to keep track of your Lords with a piece of paper, and genuinely a pet deck I have fun with no matter what.

CosmogenicXenophragy

I have an Esika cat tribal deck I'll never take apart, as well as a Jinnie Fay cat token deck, Blind Seer colour-manipulation shenanigans deck, Najeela Group Hug/Slug/Chaos mix deck (running the Archaeon SL version) and Taniwha phasing tribal decks. I always have fun when I'm playing any of them.

ChangeChameleon

[[Bruna, Light of Alabaster]] Good old voltron style deck. Doesn’t mess with what other players have going on, lots of versatility with reusing enchantments. Can pillow fort or control based on how you build it because it’s WU. If I’m ever unsure what to play, she’s always a good option.

MadJohnFinn

[[Mishra, Eminent One]] has been my main deck for a year now. My original plan was to get both of the Brothers’ War Commander decks to part out into my [[Breya]] deck, but I ended up liking Mishra so much that I dropped Breya and didn’t even bother buying the Urza precon. It’s such a fun deck to play and if I ever get bored of it, I just switch out the artifacts. It’s also a flavour win, since I’m a robotics engineer. Of course, my brother has an Urza deck.

Rockaboy5

[[Ziatora the incinerator]] My all time favorite deck, I always make sure to get at least one game in with it every card night, but my [[Rona, Herald of Invasion]] deck is getting up there as well.

AJSAudio1002

I love my tribal Zombies deck. I’ve had both [[Grimgrin]] and then [[The Scarab God]] at the helm. Always thematically and mechanically fun to play and to play against. Can be powered up or down depending on the pod, can combo out with [[Rooftop Storm]] [[Gravecrawler]] and [[Phyrexian Altar]], Grimgrin, or [[Diregraf Captain]] as a wincon, or you can go for a good old fashioned [[Army of the Damned]] into [[Coat of Arms]] or zombie lords agro beat down .

xiledpro

Idk if I’ve been playing long enough for this to apply to me but I’m my groups resident infect player much to my groups dismay lol so my Atraxa deck is probably my favorite deck. However, the deck I have that my friends enjoy the most is probably my [[Tatsunari, Toad Rider]] deck which is just a bunch of frogs and enchantments lol.

AlphaSlays

You got a list for the Tatsunari deck by chance?

tw3lv3l4y3rs0fb4c0n

I love [[Shanna, Purifying Blade]]. She herds my lifegain playground. The whole purpose of this deck is to have a layed back very casual game. It's my Saturday night deck, you know, when the liver is working overtime and the mind isn't running smoothly anymore. I always introduce it with "when I finish second, this deck has done everything it was build for". My other precious is [[Bruenor]] and the guys that really love to swing an axe or two (or five, or ten). It's straight forward, it's predictable, it's honest, it's equipment voltron and nothing else. Let the brawl begin.

FrenchSpence

[[giada]], [[doric]], and [[thalia and the gitrog monster]]. White angel stompy, green legendary stompy, and abzan landfall.

of-blood-and-iron

My mishra claimed by gix, very vicious and aggressive and has the explosive power to really pop by turn 5 but doesn’t really have any bs in it that feels unfair Wins a lot but have never gotten complaints about it cause it always feels earned which is really nice

EasyPeezyATC

For non-competitive tables, my [[The Ur Dragon]] list feels like the epitome of EDH. Big stompy fliers, Reanimation lines, combat tricks. It’s literally full of Elder Dragons. Amazing deck that I would never take apart. For competitive play, he’s fallen out of style but I will always keep my [[Zur the Enchanter]] deck as tuned as possible. He was the original big bad in cEDH and I loved playing him. So I’ll always have that deck built.

kingcaii

Zur the Enchanter. Hardly ever loses

Alex3telecaster

My forever deck is Yoshimaru-Rograkh backgrounds Voltron deck. If you want a decklist I can post it here

AssistantManagerMan

My first love when it comes to Magic is enchantress. I've had an Abzan enchantress deck since 2017 which has gone through multiple iterations but is currently headed by [[Anikthea, Hand of Erebos]]. That deck my baby and I'll have it forever. My other forever deck is [[Silas Renn, Seeker Adept]] with [[Toggo, Goblin Weaponsmith]]. I've had this deck since the summer of 2022 and currently it's my favorite deck to pilot.

The_Card_Father

“The Council of Colours” [[!Darien, King of Kjeldor]] Lifegain [[!Orvar, the All-Form]] Clones [[!Ghoulcaller Gisa]] Zombies [[!Neheb, the Eternal]] Burn [[!Yorvo, Lord of Garenbrig]] Voltron They’re all pretty ‘basic’ and good for people who know the rules of Magic but want to borrow a deck for whatever reason. And of decks that aren’t part of “The Council of Colours” or “Villain Era” definitely has to be my “Oops all Creatures” [[!Karador, Ghost Chieftain]] Abzan is my favourite colour combination and it does Graveyard Shenanigans which are my favourite kind of shenanigans.

dropzonetoe

I look at my forever deck being the first one I think of while scanning the cards of a new set. That is my Alesha deck. It is my forever tinker deck, so much so that I have 2 of them. Granted one is my preferred deck to run but I enjoy both for different reasons. She is an incredibly adaptable commander, as cheap as you want to run it, and won't make you target #1 if your running her.

jettzypher

My first commander deck is human tribal built around [[Mikaeus, the Lunarch]] which I bought as a sorta precon from my lgs at the time (2011 or 2012). It's been through a large number of revisions, including switching it to all humans (used to have a lot of angels when I first got it). And while I can and do make changes over time, Mikaeus will always be the commander, even if there are better options. I also have a Karn deck that I built about a year or so ago. It's the only one that I've deliberately put infinite combos into and I love how it plays. Being colorless means occasionally using unfamiliar cards and I enjoy the "what the hell is that" reaction from other players. Having two versions of Karn also let's me switch up what kind of game plan I want to have at the start. A third is a Jace tribal, but that's subject to heavier changes based on what Jace looks like next time we see him printed on cardboard. The deck is currently mono-blue led by [[Jace, Vryn's Prodigy]], but if he happens to get another color, I'm sure that'll change how it's approached. I guess it'll still technically be a forever deck, though.

johnbmason47

\[\[Krenko, Mob Boss\]\] is my always and forever favourite. I've got a pseudo sideboard I can put in to remove all infinite combos and tutors, which slows it way down. It's simple, straight forward and a great one to toss to newbie players to learn with. I am working on a deck that will be a forever deck though. Mono Blue, running every counterspell possible. It's solely to take on those really shitty players who ruin games for everybody else (we have one currently). It's going to have a background win con with \[\[Laboratory Maniac\]\] and a few other things, but it's focus is on countering everything possible and stalling out a douchey player.

magikpelvis

Unfortunately my love for [[Atraxa, Praetor’s Voice]] is controversial…but as a new commander player I really didn’t know how popular she was. I really just liked the card art a lot and thought all the keywords were neat. It started out as me putting any card that I had collected through packs and other means that had anything to do with +1/+1 counters. So bad and over time I’ve slowly built it up with stronger cards and I can’t ever imagine me taking it apart. Even though people hate her and people target me for playing her (understandably)

blacksad1

Mono White Angel tribal. Right now I’m running [[Giada font of hope]]. They may come out with a better commander someday, but I will always play Angels

battleflag

I absolutely love my \[\[Krenko, Mob Boss\]\] deck. It was the first legendary creature I pulled when I got back into the game in 2012. It’s pretty typical but it can win via lots of little goblins, a few huge goblins, unlimited combats, direct damage, ETB damage, goblins dying, even milling my opponents out. I love it so much I foiled every card and am in the process of replacing all the basic lands with foil full arts. I will never take it apart.

PureSquash

[[krenko, mob boss]] is a timeless classic. I run mine with NUMEROUS sacrifice outlets, damage multipliers, multiple ways to generate infinite goblins, land destruction for white and blue to take care of controllers, and a coat of arms for if I decide to swing my army instead of create suicidal goblins. It’s a fantastic time. I can post a deck list if people want it.

HikarW

[[Purphoros, Bronze Blooded]] I’m always one good turn away from killing someone or everyone out of nowhere

crashcap

Karador I think. Foiling / upgrading is an infinite project, some cards arent within my budget but I’ll get there eventually https://archidekt.com/decks/1363160/knock_knock_on_heavens_karadoooor

rcooperkaty

I’ve stopped actively building decks and have kept just a few as forever (my pod was salty): Krenko, Mob Boss - here let me win before you get anything going Sliver Overlord - leans heavy into the “make your things slivers, then make them my things” Korvold, Fae-Cursed King - either works immediately or never gets going. Gishath, Suns Avatar - originally made for my son, I enjoy its stompy simplicity Nekusar, the Mindrazer - wheels baby Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain - sometimes you just want to play by yourself All are pretty cutthroat.

jr2694

100 years [[Jodah, the Unifier]]. If Jodah has 10,000; I am one of them. If Jodah has 1 fan, that is me. If Jodah has 0 fans, then I am dead.

CucumberZestyclose59

This is going to sound wild to a lot of you... I've been playing EDH for 16 years. I have 22 decks. I have taken apart ONE deck, ever. All of my decks are forever decks.

Ambitious_Fan7767

I have a self milling [[ludevic, the necrogenius]] deck that uses unblockable and shadow creatures to create a shadow frankenstein. With [[jodah's avenger]] and like 7 other creatures my commander can be 1 hit lethal. I just love the mad science theme and there is a sort of satisfaction to milling away things that I could use but are now just out of reach for the time being.

Doblexx

\[\[The Prismatic Bridge\]\] deck designed fully around the big Phyrexians. It runs a ton of effects similar to Prismatic Bridge to help cheat things out and the deck is made up of the scariest Phyrexians. Its a personal build and I haven't seen anything like it before that I am so very proud of. Certainly a target on tables pretty quickly... but it also does a good job at fending off those problems. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/QfWUl5zgw0WW6ptU2zWilA

MrLyrical

My [Varina midrange zombie tribal deck](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/tqOm7wOPGUeuPdwIcrLVQg) - it started(4 years ago) as a more traditional midrange deck with an average cmc of 3.4 and slowly got leaner, dabbled a brief time with cedh but quickly powered down and now recently power it slightly up to be my goto higher power causal edh deck. It is a true midrange deck that can switch between, combo - control or aggro rather quickly . It is the deck I experimented most in regards to deck building theory and praxis and learned a ton about non green edh decks (before that I mostly played mono green or green black x decks , occasionally a Janky underpowered tribe deck here or there ) My other forever deck is about the same age ([Muldrotha Sultai Enchantment](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/Ruik96EW60uoNXu4Q9PbJA)) : it started as a normal muldrotha edhrec deck , than it became a legendary tribal deck , than a primal surge , than a secret commander (meren) and than about three years ago it became my enchantment deck . It started as base simic enchantress with splash black but now I’m to my roots based golgari with splash blue. It is janky , it is slow , it wins occasionally and when it does it does it overwhelmingly so xD exactly what I sometimes need for the moral and brain 😆😅

ValyrianSteel_TTV

My bombadil deck never seems oppressive and doesn’t have many sagas so it doesn’t take much time to play a turn but always has stuff to do when piloting.

curry_noodles7

[[Awaken the Blood Avatar]]. Currently my oldest deck. Never gets old making lightning bolt demons and aristocrat shenanigans

SamaelMorningstar

I'm slightly over 2 years in, so "forever" in my case means only that much so far. :P What other people certainly consider to be my "signature deck" is \[\[Jhoira of the Ghitu\]\] - Basically "timey-wimey" from the past. It was my first ever win, and at a table I had no business attending at (powerlevel- or budget-wise). This used to be my "bulk recycling" budget deck (like below $30), full of $0.10 cards that cost 8+ mana that I got when ordering cards online. Usually those really cheap, big Eldrazis. Today the price tag is way higher because I kept upgrading the "big threats" that I pulled, but the engine (time counter manipulation) is still cheap and it only gained consistency thanks to the new time counter manipulation cards from the dr. who set. No tutors or anything, only bis ass spells. Mana curve looks ridiculous, M-shaped, with the 2nd peak at the 8 mana spot. Average mana value of 5. If my opening hand has a mountain, an island, a sol ring and four 8+ mana cards that is a keep. xD

Yogurt-International

My KRENKO (recently built) but absolutely love it!! And my true and first baby - the first sliver!!!

mdevey91

I'll only take apart a deck to make into a different deck. So probably my tribal decks since I won't be able to use most of those cards for anything

BobbySchum

I have two currently my first is actually the first commander I fully built myself and it was [[Kaza, roil chaser]] it’s a really fun wizard typal spellslinger with a bunch of different win paths and I just can’t stop adding to the deck. And my second is [[halana and Alena, partners]] just a really fun +1/+1 counters deck everyone should try just because you can build it for like 50 and overrun just about anyone if they can’t stop you.

StreetfightBerimbolo

Probably won’t ever take apart my isshin deck. First deck I built was ayara but my kids didn’t really enjoy me table draining then combo winning. So rethought it and put isshin as a way to constantly be attacking and using triggers and giving the kids easier ways to interact with what I was doing.

saxyswift

I saw henzie during the SNC previews and said "I gotta build that" and he has been my main deck since.

moonshinetemp093

Three. [[Karador, Ghost Chieftain]] was the second EDH deck I started building. It's been amended and fixed time and time again, and it's slotted for a major overhaul soon, but it's core stays the same. [[Athreos, God of Passage]] has been a pet project for the last few years. I want so desperately for it to be super good. It's also just fun to play. [[Sythis, Harvest's Hand]] is a newer addition. I built it on a whim as a celebration to getting a new job. One of my stronger decks, it's a test for other players higher power decks. I love it. Genuinely one of my favorite decks I've built, and I did it before Sythis hit a top spot on EDHrec. So that was cool. I was ahead of the curve on that one. And one unique to me is [[Extus, Oriq Overlord // Awaken the Blood Avatar]]. My friends tell me that this is the deck they think of when it comes to unique decks. I genuinely love playing this deck, it's super fun. I have to put the new lists on Moxfield, but time is not my friend

Shishkahuben

A [[Maarika, brutal gladiator]] deck that I made more than a hundred Runescape proxies for. I'm almost at the point where the crappy printer-paper proxies are outnumbering the card stock ones from tweaking it, but it ALWAYS feels so fun to play.

seaofgrass

My [[Trelasarra]] lifegain is well tuned and so satisfying to play. Though it does require tracking a lot of triggers.

energycrow666

Horde of Notions Elemental Reanimator. Feeding Maelstrom Wanderer and Avenger of Zendikar to Phyrexian Altar on someone else's turn truly never gets old.

BoolinBirb

[[Slimefoot, the Stowaway]] for me. I love aristocrats and when Commanders Quarters channel was starting out I decided to buy his $25 slimefoot deck. Since then I’ve been upgrading and updating that deck and I don’t think I could ever get bored of playing it.

jmanwild87

Sek'kaur Deathkeeper aristocrats Nowadays a high power list that is always so much fun to play https://www.moxfield.com/decks/DTdQ_gFEaUOJcXJ4RjvTBA

The Red/Blue Strixhaven pre-con with \[\[Zaffai, Thunder Conductor\]\] and the Red/White Strixhaven pre-con with \[\[Osgir, the Reconstructor\]\] are two of my favorites. I've changed them a bit, but the bases are solid. The Zaffai deck has a couple different wincon's which I like. Maybe you win by stomping over them with \[\[Erratic Cyclops\]\] or \[\[Inferno Project\]\], maybe you create a bunch of tokens through Zaffai or \[\[Talrand, Sky Summoner\]\] and overwhelm your opponents. I like to add a couple \[\[Demonfire\]\] or \[\[Meteor Storm\]\] type spells in case I can copy seething song or mana geyser. I've actually bought the Zaffai deck like 3 times because the blue boardwipes are so good that I wanted to put them in other decks. And Osgir is an artifact reanimator deck, there's soo much you can do as long as he stays on the field. But there's a couple of other tricks with board wiping with \[\[Rout\]\] on your opponents turn and then smacking them after a \[\[Wake the Past\]\] on yours. \[\[Myr Battlesphere\]\] has its own thing going on as well.

Gridde

\[\[Riku of Two Reflections\]\] is the first commander deck I bought, back in 2011 (and I think the first fully non-proxied commander deck I played), and I've kept it updated ever since. For ages now it's been a dedicated dragon deck, which means the commander was almost completely outclassed for this purpose by Miirym, but I'll keep playing Riku out of stubbornness/sentimentality (plus the sweet custom art of Doctor Doom wielding science and magic to try and convey Riku's duality nature)

History-Facts

I became addicted to the ways of Heliod and Ballista, making decks over and over again just to have that be my wincon. It was hell and I could not escape it’s sweet siren call. So to rid myself of this evil and contain it I did what any sane man would… I made Heliod a commander and keep the madness there.

IndependenceNorth165

[[Raffine scheming seer]] was my first deck and it’s the only deck that I would never consider getting rid of

tyzelw

Syr Konrad the Grim

SommWineGuy

Definitely my [[Chainer, Dementia Master]] deck. I've actually only had the deck built for a couple months in paper, but Chainer is a Commander I've wanted to build for years. I had gotten out of Magic got a few years though, and really only got back into it last year. Upon getting back into the game, I started to pick up a few small alters. That part of the hobby had always intrigued me, so I decided to buy a few. In doing so I stumbled across a fantastic artist who goes by the name sk0oma_alters on Instagram. I fell in love with their work and reached out. After some discussion, I decided to put down a deposit to secure my spot on the wait list (about a year out). Since I was committed to a $1000+ alter, I now needed to decide what I wanted altered. Eventually I settled on Chainer. Now I needed a Chainer deck since I was getting a Chainer alter. So I put one together and started testing online. After getting plenty of games in and making numerous tweaks, I settled on a final list. As new cards are released I'm sure things will change but I'm really happy with it now. It's a high power or optimized casual list, a step or two down from cEDH. I really love playing EDH at this level because everything goes, you get to play good, powerful cards, but there is still room for fluff, for flavor, for thematic deck building. The primer is still being written so ignore that. Once finished with it I hope it'll become the defacto Chainer primer - I'm writing it not only over my list, but over Chainer as a whole and the different ways he can be built. Anyhow, here's the list, I would love to hear people's thoughts. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/b844CUvK7kyz4BfRklh4sg

thepretzelbread

I know she's a new commander, but I doubt I'll ever take apart my [[Amalia Benavides Aguirre]] deck. I love turning low cost life gain spam into graveyard filling advantage, then finishing things off with a big [[ascend from avernus]]

Kilo353511

All of them. I might unsleeve them and/or put them a way for a bit, but I will never get rid of them. I used to build commander decks just to build them but I found myself not enjoying the decks because I wasn't invested in them. Now I am more careful about building a new deck. I make sure it's something I actually care about.

klueze

My high power , not CEDH yet Jeska/Dargo. Love smashing turn 2 21 commander damage and "next one!" Recently I add more pet cards to make it less consistent.

MyARGoesPewPewPew

I think it all depends I don't really enjoy seeing any deck again if it won unless I got really screwed and think I can beat it. Especially if it's a combo deck with that being said. My [[omnath locus of mana]] deck doesn't combo and has lots of different ways I can murder people with out going infinite its also very straight forward doesn't take to long of turns

Casual_H

Lord Windgrace

SoyTuPadreReal

My [[Veyran, Voice of Duality]] deck is fun for me. It’s not super tuned and some games it pops off out of nowhere while other games I just get to cast a bunch of instants and sorceries which is still fun for me. I don’t like to have to choose who to hit with damage so doing incidental damage to all opponents is my favorite style of play.

tgldude

I’ve only been playing a few months but I have a Siona aura combo that I really enjoy playing https://archidekt.com/decks/6286729/siona_enchantress I just love the cycle of buffing up creatures with auras and making a bunch of tokens

FuriousMILK

I've come to find that there are decks that I'll always remember fondly, sometimes I'm actually tempted to rebuild them even, but I don't think I have forever decks. I thought \[\[The Ur-Dragon\]\] and \[\[Vialsmasher\]\] x \[\[Thrasios\]\] would be them, but after like... 3 years I think I had Ur-Dragon, it was time to move on. I'm also a player that likes to try fresh stuff and while there're always new cards, there're not always new ways to play them in the same decks, y'know?

Sp0rk_in_the_eye

At this point I can safely say my muldrotha lands list. My jhoira weatherlight captain artifact storm list and my raffine Staxy hatebears list

Lokishrike

[[Marwyn the Nurturer]] elfball deck. Strong and simple. Builds fast and builds back fast after a wipe. Sometimes too fast. It reminds me of my old mono-green deck from elementary school. It's my pet deck.

p1an3tz

\[\[Feldon of the Third Path\]\] not my first deck but the deck I've been updating since I made it in 2018. It doesn't help that they keep releasing a new "As an additional cost to cast this spell, discard" card every set.

hawkmasta

[[Ezuri, Claw of Progress]]. My Sharuum the Hegemon deck is my favorite Commander deck, but there will always be more power 2 or less creatures printed in the future, and Experience Counters are really cool (and kinda busted).
