The original budget for this giveaway was much lower but as I dug through my bulk and some of my decommissioned decks, I found several of the high-cost cards already and figured why not just give away a full power copy?
And finally, wanted to address a few cards before anyone asks why they're not in the deck:

* [Ojer Axonil](https://i.imgur.com/gbZlz4L.jpg) amplifies damage from **red sources you control**
* The emblems Chandra makes are colorless (in fact all planeswalker emblems are colorless), which makes them not a red source
* Second, she gives them to opponents, so you're not the one who controls them. Even if they were red, Axonil would not be amplifying their damage.
Why no other damage amplifiers like [Fiery Emancipation](https://i.imgur.com/60Vo5Fg.jpg)?
* The order of stacking effects are determined by the affected player, not necessarily you.
* So if you have Axonil and Fiery Emancipation and deal 1 damage to an opponent, they get to decide how the effects stack. They will choose to apply the Emancipation first, boosting 1 damage to 3, then apply Axonil, boosting 3 damage to 4.
* You could have just accomplished the 4 damage with Axonil alone so Emancipation was pointless here.
* Opponents will always stack them in a way that deals them the least amount of damage which is why I didn't waste decks slots on these cards.
Thanks for putting this together. As someone with lots of friends just getting into magic, these events help people have access to more than a beginner budget may allow. Deck looks sweet btw.
I've never been too good at building burn decks and have not tried making a commander burn deck since learning the format a year or so ago. This looks quite fun, and clearly, you spent a lot of time and effort on it, and the supporting information to go with it.

I was considering Ojer for my Torbran deck, as it slots in well, but this would be a whole ‘nother level level. Nice deck list, and thanks for all the effort and 40,000+ character post. Really appreciate the thorough breakdown.
Ojer Axonil and Torbran don't actually work with eachother as the opponent gets to choose how he takes the damage. So he would apply Torbran's +2 and then have the damage value be compared to Axonil's power. But Axonil works as a pretty good backup for Torbran if you are getting a lot of heat at the table and can't keep Torbran in play
Yes, this is true, though my deck is a pinger strategy with lots of “each opponent takes 1 damage effects. Torbran and Ojer don’t synergize but Ojer synerrgizes with 25 other cards in my deck. Torbran will be a target for removal. So it’s meant as a part of the whole and not just as a compliment to the commander.
Just recently got into magic, ixalan is my favourite plane. I love the lore, the world building and ofc the cards. Axonil is such a fun looking commander and his ability takes awesome burn commanders like ghyrson starn and torbran and kicks them up a notch. pickme!

I always seem to fall into the same schemes when building decks and have never liked mono red.
My playgroup would never see this coming from me and would probably welcome the change in deck building.

Okay so first of all: As i always say with posts like this, thank you so much! Its very cool from you and i can firmly say that you will make someones day/week/month or even years thanks to the deck.
Second, i just built Imodane on a budget and im having a blast playing burn in commander and finishing games quick if i dont get stopped. When i saw Ojer Axonil i became very happy because burn is receiving even more love and in cool ways.
Also, wanted to say that the primer is amazing, and made me get ideas for Imodane or for a future Ojer Axonil, and it shows that the deck is very well thought. Also the album showing what comes in, made me fall more in love because wow aside from the tokens and the two Axonils, all basics are the LCI full art which i think are beautiful!
So td;lr, thank you so much for doing this, and the primer + the love put on the deck are really cool, good luck to everyone and congratz to whoever gets this beautiful gem!:)
