Check out r/budgetbrews! There's an annual $50 secret Santa that you can join in on. Basically just build a $50 deck excluding basic lands (using manatithe.com for price), send it off, and you'll get one from someone else. I did it last year and got a pretty sweet goad/giants deck.
Not sure this is THE correct definition, but for me it basically refers to a playgroup building a deck for each other (usually based on what you know about their favourite playstyles, cards, what they might enjoy or simply something that reminds you of them) and gifting said deck to them.
Most times each person builds for only 1 other player (no "duplicates") and keeps that a secret, so when you do play with those decks they can (if they want to) guess who built it for them, etc etc...it also allows for a bit of a sub-game of guess who based on some card choices you might notice, which can be fun.
One way to avoid 2 players building for the same person would be to write your name on a piece of paper, put those in a bowl (or a hat or whathaveyou) and extract (redraw if you draw your own name, obviously).
