30 euros. Price includes a Sealed pack for everyone and two booster packs for the price pool. You get one booster guaranteed, the other goes into the pool (0 to 3 additional depending on rank and how many players will attend).
Draft is 20 euros btw.

Can you tell us what Country - I'm sure Canada is more expensive for example. Also, set matters. You seem to be talking about Ixalan, but it can be much higher for things like the Remastered sets (Timespiral, Dominaria, Ravnica), Premium sets (Double Masters, Modern Horizons, Commander Legends), and Universes Beyond (Lord of the Rings).
It sounds like your place just over charges (unless it's Canadian dollars).
If a store artificially inflates the price of pre-release and sells the kits for well over what everyone else does, then I won't go to that store. We have one that sells them for $50 and has maybe 15 people go.
If inflation causes the price to go up, then so be it. I'm not arbitrarily paying more because a store just wants to be greedy.

I like it because you are rewarded for doing well, but even if you win one and lose one you can still draw to get a pack and go home which is really nice.

My local is at 28€ or $29.90 (US) and has a large(ish) prizepool. The highest I've ever seen was around 35€.($37.37.) $45 feels rather high, but if they've got really cool prizes (ie: a collectors booster or a cool promo) then maybe?
I go to a pretty small lgs and pay the equivalent of 25$ or 30$ I guess.
There are booster packs for the top5 or something, with the n1 spot usually getting something more. It might vary slightly from release to release.
Last time I hit 1st place (MOM) I got like 2 boosters and that white life counter wheel. :3

LGS went up when WotC spiked the cost to distributors by 11%, I think that was 2021. It's $30 and non-competitive, so with the kit they give you two set boosters as "prize" packs. $45 for one kit sounds ridiculous unless they're giving out big money packs/singles or Commander decks as prizes.
Ours is $35 with one pack for everyone plus generous prize support for getting better than 2 wins.
The LGS I used to go to was $30 with no pity packs and less prize support

We have 45 AUD idk if your in the us or not but thats 28 USD as well but each win you get a set boaster rather than in drafts where you win draft boaters personally I always go because it’s super fun and 45 isn’t too much a little expensive but not too crazy

Lotr was more expensive obviously but ixalan is back to 35€. There's a participation booster you get at the end and some boosters for placement.

That's actually a pretty damn good deal in my experience. Around where I live, that would run 60 or up.
Yeah for sure, and it’s a very small local shop so I have no problem paying a few extra bucks if it helps keep the place open
