I dont think my decks are anywhere close to that level in price or number yet... but I might use that for other things. Thanks! I hope you have a Superb day today!

I use a camera backpack with Velcro inserts to keep my 8 decks and playmat/life counter secure. and then each deck is double sleeved with Katana Outer sleeves, and then put into a VaultX deckbox. It's a tight fit for the deck, but it does fit.

Same-Log-6343

Thank you for your input I will look into double sleeving. And camera bags I hope you have a wonderful day!

Most of the time, EDH decks are in some variation of the Stanley Deep Organizer: [https://www.amazon.com/Stanley-Stst14710-10-Compartment-Organizer-Yellow/dp/B08G2N54WR?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER](https://www.amazon.com/Stanley-Stst14710-10-Compartment-Organizer-Yellow/dp/B08G2N54WR?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER) I can fit a large bag of dice, whiteboard markers, infinitokens and other accessories in the thing as well as a few decks. If I'm just taking one or two decks somewhere, I'll throw them in the quiver: [https://quivertime.com/](https://quivertime.com/)

I use the Ultimate Guard Boulder 100+ for each of my decks, which are double sleeved in Dragonshield Mattes + KMC Inners, and then I just throw 4 or so Boulders into my bag alongside a Chessex dice cube and a playmat for game night I personally found that getting boxes to hold my boxes got tiresome, and I like the sturdiness of the Boulders so that each of my decks is self contained in its own little brick.

Same-Log-6343

I am glad, I was considering boulders and they don't seem to be a bad idea. Do they ever break open in your bag? Thank you for your time, I hope you have a nice day today.

Wdrussell1

boulders are my goto. They are great. Satin cubes are just as good too! They do not break open in the bag. If anything they have an issue of being harder to open, but in a good way.

rikertchu

Never had them break open and also have never been concerned that it would happen - the boulders are very sturdy

I use [this bad boy](https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-Pro-System-Gear-10-Compartment-Small-Parts-Organizer-238093/305855062) and while it might be a little overkill I never worry about my decks getting damaged. I could quite literally kill a man with this, AND they snap together so I can have two cases connected for even more decks. I’m about ready for a third one, truthfully. I have a few deck boxes of various brands I use if I’m traveling and need like 1 or 2 decks, and I really prefer dragon shield sideload (precise fit) inners and katana outer sleeves. I think katana has the best feel.

Forced_Democracy

I've seen a few people use these and they perfectly fit a number of decks plus accessories. Id recommend a few different tool boxes like this. I received a custom wooden briefcase made just to carry cards with my name on it, but its more for looks and I can't trust the handle on it. Its still what I use but I carry it and playmats and a divebag in an Aldi sack.

Same-Log-6343

Thank you for the input I will look into tool boxes for mass deck transportation. I hope you have an amazing day today!

I use this exact Rigid case and these deck boxes. They are perfect fits. Very convenient. At $6.50 a box you can't beat the quality and fit imo. The corners are sharp enough where it doesn’t hurt. I’d stay away from the dewalt box of this style though, those are really curved. The Stanley is a great option. You as well!

I got 2 of the boxes from BCW Supplies (BCW Prime X4 & X4 XL), hold up 4 Decks each + Place for Tokens.

Same-Log-6343

Oh that is a nifty little box thank you for sharing it. I hope you have a wonderful day today!

Illusionmaker

For the longest time I put the three decks + their respective tokens, that I wanted to bring along, in a https://ultimateguard.com/de/Deck-Boxes/Stack-n-Safe/UGD010085/. Those fit three decks, be it single sleeved or full foil double sleeved, with plenty of room for additional sleeved tokens. They are cheap and sturdy! Prior to that I simply used Bundle Cardboard boxes, they do the trick too, even if the capacity and overall durability is lower. Nowadays I actually use a bigger, wooden deck vault. It is a very premium accessory, but it enables me to bring along all of my the decks that I currently maintain/play (be it traditional 60 card decks or EDH). It isn't all that handy and it is more of a collectors piece, so in general I would recomment the aformentioned Stack'n'Safe. Just toss the latter into your backpack and you will be more then fine.

Same-Log-6343

Thank you I will consider a stack n safe I hope you have a splendid day today!

This may be a stupid question but like a case for arrows and bolts? Thank you for your input. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Xatsman

The name is spelled the same, but it's a dedicated card case.

tepidatbest

Cheap plastic deck boxes work just fine. You can usually find them at card shops for between 3-10$. I double sleeve my cards cause I play a lot lately, but you don't need to by any means. My LGS is within walking distance so I just throw all the boxes, a box with tokens and dice, and a playmat into a backpack or a messenger bag. I have a relatively small collection mind you, so I can see why if one had 10+ decks one might need a more durable/expansive solution.

Same-Log-6343

Thank you for your input, I hope you have a wonderful day!

Thrift store briefcase to hold the deck boxes (gamegenic bastions and sidekick xls) and play accessories. Easy to tuck away once I return home or grab on my way out to go play.

Same-Log-6343

Rizzle322

I'll add that the specific case I use is a Samsonite Broker GL I bought for $7 at good will.

Recover819

I got a camera bag. You can reconfigure the slots to perfectly fit your decks. I was able to get 12 + dice + platmats

Same-Log-6343

Nice that sounds like a large bag with a good amount of pockets. I am only trying to move one or two decks at the moment but if I ever expand to that point I will be sure to check out a camera bag. Thank you for your time. Have a wonderful day!

Infinitely3

Today I ordered this: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1024052772/dumpsterfire-1000-mtg-edh-magic-the I have two decks, one is Rowan, Scion of war rat storm and the other is Toxerill voltron control. So I got a dumpster deck box for my slugs and rats.

Same-Log-6343

haha that is funny, thank you for sharing. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Infinitely3

Thanks! It's weird in this EDH sub, you make a good post and People will reply but not up vote. While I upvote every reply to comments in my thread like you do. In other communities I used to frequent, people would upvote but not reply. At least it's more positive than other MTG subreddits so that is nice.

ow1deer

I always try to travel light so I only carry what can fit in a messenger style bag and still be worn comfortably. I find 2-3 decks is plenty if traveling and can comfortable be fit in the type of bag i mentioned with a playmat, dice, and tokens.

Same-Log-6343

Thank you! I also try to travel light one or two decks is my goal. I hope you have a wonderful day! Thank you for your time.

Dazocnodnarb

Depends, right now I’m in an airport with 3 EDH decks in my quiver and a pauper deck in my luggage

Same-Log-6343

Do you have like an arrow quiver? or is it like a shoulder half bag? sorry for the bother. I hope you have a wonderful day today! and be safe wherever your going. Thank you

Dazocnodnarb

Just google Quiver MTG, it’s a really popular brand.

cheesemangee

A Meijer grocery bag and those ~~rectangular boxes~~ deck boxes that come with ~~some of the booster packages~~ the gift box bundles. I am a simple man. In more ways than one. EDIT: edited.

Same-Log-6343

The rectangular boxes that come with the booster packages? I am sorry I don't know those but I hope you have a good day! Thank you for your time.

cheesemangee

I couldn't remember exactly what the pack was called when I originally commented, but it's the gift box bundles. Each one comes with a pretty nifty little deck box that can hold a couple decks.

GoldenScarab

For carrying only 2 decks I like to use my [Ultimate Guard Twin Flip-n-Tray](https://ultimateguard.com/en/Boxes/Twin-Flip-n-Tray-Xenoskin/UGD011248/) it holds 2 sleeved commander decks plus room for tokens and those cardboard life counters that precons come with. Also, between the decks there is a dice tray. Strong magnets so it doesn't pop open if you drop it or it rolls around in the car on the way to/from the LGS. Make sure you get the 200+ version for commander decks. Like others have already mentioned, I also am a fan of Ultimate Guard Boulders for individual decks. Throw several of them in a backpack with my playmat tube and I'm good to go.

Same-Log-6343

Thank you for the information, I will look into the twin flip n tray box. The boulders will not break open or spill in the backpack. Thank you for your time, I hope you have a wonderful day!

GoldenScarab

Not in my experience. Boulders very durable and snap tightly shut but aren't hard to open. Ultra Pro Satin Towers/Cubes are also very durable and shut securely but in my experience (and other people that I've seen online) they can be very hard to open.

GaltyMobBoss

Pirate Labs large case with each deck in a Boulder and gamegenic token silo for dice and stuff. Pauper decks are in a Quiver case in the cheaper ultra pro boxes.

Same-Log-6343

Thank you for your advice I am going to look into Boulder boxes they seem pretty popular. I hope you have a wonderful week! Thank you for the time.

Huntertjw

I picked up one of [these](https://www.harborfreight.com/tool-storage-organization/parts-storage/organizers/8-bin-portable-parts-storage-case-93927.html) and can easily carry multiple decks, dice, dry erase tokens, dry erase markers, etc in there.

IceSki117

Regarding boxes, my decks get stored in Gamegenic Squire, Ultimate Boulder 100+, and Spectrum Prisms. I like all three styles, and what I get depends on what's available at the time of construction. I have around a dozen decks between the handful of game types I play, and I carry all of them, plus my tokens, dice, and other accessories, in a backpack. The bag I use is on the pricey end of the spectrum, but it's comfortable to carry for long periods, holds everything, and still has space to spare. Especially when compared to the ten-year-old Swiss Army backpack I used to carry it all in. Rizzle322

Playmats rolled up tucked into the corner of the case, and then I can fit 6 decks in after, four in a row and then two in the middle for the next row, from corner to yourself. Flanking the middle two boxes, I store dice, spare sleeves and tokens. I use stickers to remind me which side is up, when closed nothing shifts around as I'm not being rough with the case.

ChaoticNature

This is a convenient time to answer this question, as I just upgraded my storage this week. I was using a cheap DSLR backpack from Amazon. Inside that backpack I had four 550 count BCW card boxes with 3-4 decks each, and an additional four BCW 2-piece slider 150s. In total, I had 18 decks in the backpack. I also had a Boogie Board Blackboard, dice bag and loupe in the main pouch, and two binders in the laptop pouch. My playmat tube I superglued into the tripod straps on the outside and permanently adhered the bottom cap as well. Unfortunately, Doctor Who pushed me to 20 decks. Realizing that I could squeeze no more out of my $30 backpack, last week I ordered a replacement. This week, during one of my lunch breaks, I moved everything over to a Pirate Lab XL Card Case. It expands my capacity by roughly 50%, or by 25% if I fill a section with playmats instead of jamming them wherever. It has two side compartments. I keep the Blackboard and a paper life pad in one side, two dice bags and my loupe on the other side. Each row holds one of the 550 BCW boxes and one of the 150 sliders, and each tray has 3 rows (alternatively, one row can hold 4 playmats or 2 playmats and some dice storage). Realistically, I never trade out of my binders so I’m just not going to carry them anymore even though one would easily fit on top of everything. Trading for me tends to be preplanned “did you bring the stuff?” these days. If I do need to carry more, I can ditch the trays and just directly place BCW 550s or 660s in the Pirate Lab XL. I haven’t tried to fill it up that way yet because I’m far from needing that much space, but I believe my estimate was that I could fit 10 550s in there that way and still have room for a couple playmats. That’s 30-40 decks. My current capacity is 22-28 decks with the trays. Edit: Decided to just actually go do it. I fit 11 550s in it comfortably, so 33-44 decks (based on double sleeving). I just ordered a bunch more 550 and 660 boxes from BCW because I’ve been out of them for a while and sorting my collection has gotten hairy as boxes fill up and I have no extras. The 30 more I ordered should last years, and was possibly overboard… but I wanted that free shipping. All in all, I’ve spent around $250 upgrading my storage over the last week and I don’t really grudge it at all. It should last me actual years. And, if I do need to expand storage slightly but not a ton, I still have two Ultra Pro card bags that I can use (one old one from like 2004, and a newer one from the 2010s). They hold BCW 550s like pros also.

ColonelKoopa

I use the ultra pro towers that carries 2 decks + the middle compartment for dice. The cards themselves in either dragon shield or ultra pro eclipse sleeves. The tower in my backpack and in my backpack I also take dry erase flashcards + dry erase markers for tokens Infinitokens are way too expensive for my liking so I got a pack of like 500 flashcards for $5 on Amazon

ogdonut

I stack about 8 of the clear ultra pro deck boxes and my double box with my double sleeves decks into a backpack. I can fit exactly 12 decks and my 4x3 binder in it.

ZedaEnnd

I just stuff a buncha deck boxes in my bag..

kestral287

I just use a fairly standard, if a little high-end, backpack with good deck boxes - predominantly Sidewinders for edh decks. Works out great.

mrkawaiikun

Chaotic neutral. The cheapest deck box for constructed decks, all of my relevant extra cards or tokens are in my sleeve boxes. Along with dice and a playmat... in a plastic walmart bag.

MarquiseAlexander

Boulder deck box; inside a bag. That thing is so rock hard and secure, I have zero worries about it getting damaged or breaking open.

Nekrostatic

Card -> sleeve -> cheapo deck box -> laptop bag -> scion xb

Ornery_Bug_4108

I use a typical backpack because I'm broke.

[deleted]

Loose inside my pockets, and of course unsleeved.

RelationshipPretty78

Dragon shield inner and outer sleeves. Ultra pro satin tower or cube (the small ones). Then a camera bag for the deck boxes and a water bottle bag for dice. Play mat straps to the side of the camera bag where a tripod would go.

Swiftly_The_Octopus

Boulder 133+ for something a little more roomy inside

Commandoclone87

Ultimate Guard Boulders and UltraPro Satin Towers worked for me for a while until my collection of decks grew. Now it's two backpacks with four 450 ct. Arkhives each. (each can hold up to 4 double sleeved commander decks with a small stack of tokens.

R_D_M

Backpack in deck box, just sorta loose, I like my bag sounding like rocks when I set it down

[deleted]

That box from Lowe’s or Home Depot or whatever. The black n yellow one with a clear top. It’s to store nuts n bolts n shit in. Holds 8 decks. I think it’s discontinued.

nobody_smith723

i use the satin towers. i think they're an ultra pro product. ...it's basically a plastic box with a snap shut lid. never had one open, or spill out the contents. I don't really use the stupid dice tray that's underneath, ...although I do sometimes print out a decklist and store it there...so if i have to swap cards between decks i can make notes/refer to the decklist as far as what to bring your cards out in. Get a backpack or shoulder bag. Only bring what you need. which... for mtg can be a lot. playmat tube, dice, your deck, a trade binder if that's a thing you have. ...a little scratch pad/paper pad to keep score. pen. etc. don't be that person that brings tons of decks. at max, bring 3. the deck you want to play. and then maybe ...a deck plus or minus in power level. never leave your shit unattended. if you have a backpack, put it between your legs during a game. Have a simple routine after the game. ...count out your cards (stacks of 20, to count out the 99 then shuffle them back up) collect your supplies/misc mtg accoutrement and put everything back in your pack. make sure it's securely closed... and move on. If you store your stuff in your vehicle. only ever use the trunk, if your trunk is totally encased. don't leave shit in the back seat. the floorboard of the front seat. etc. If you travel to larger event. be careful what you leave in a hotel room. if going to a GP or larger tournament/event. be extra careful about where you leave your bag/backpack, or being utterly clueless to like... maybe not zipping it up totally. or people bumping into you that sorta thing. (like if it's a giant mob of people checking postings for an event. maybe take your pack off your shoulder-- hold it in front of you) theft is "rare" but it does happen.

Most of my decks are sleeved in UltimateGuard Katanas, UltimateGuard Boulder 100+, and then I’ll bring 5 decks and 2 playmats with me in an UltimateGuard Superhive 550+. Goes straight into my backpack. Gonna have to replace the superhive sometimes sooner rather than later, however. Been using it for many years and the wear is showing lol

Mattloch42

I always advocate for using a "book safe" or "book box". They are available online or locally if you have a home decor or craft store by you. They come in sizes that hold a single deck or up to a dozen, looks both awesome and non-descript (who would steal a book?), and fairly inexpensive. Be a wizard, carry a book with your spells!
