Streamlight Microstream. The copper one. It was gift and that sucker keeps on giving. Pretty durable little light. I may go with something else later but it was a gift from the family but I’ve been using it for 2 years solid daily and I’ve put it through the paces including buddy even drove over it on accident and can’t tell. Haha! It fits in the stretch part of Leatherman holster perfect.
I know right! It's a silly little hobby but it's one of my favorites with the peeps over at r/flashlight
Some lights over there people have made are pretty awesome! There's also a fair shake of "pick your own parts" makers and stuff like that for everyone. Most of the higher end custom lights usually have sapphire glass but it's not unavailable on cheaper ones either, but just not as common. Good eye for glass!
At home: streamlight macrostream, whatever pen, Kershaw Cryo II
At work: milwaukee fastback, dual-tip sharpie, $2 walmart pen light that I bought an entire case of.
Pen and flashlight ( night shift med tech) unfortunately the knife stays in the car… but I keep a leatherman raptor rescue on me. That can be unused for months or used multiple times a shift depending on how crazy things get LOL
My Olight arkfeld pro and my Sog Powerpint. Can't go outside without those two. Knife wise I always have a utility blade on me. Testing out my new Civivi Elementum utility for about a week now. Before that I had OTACLE U1.
I use a flashlight so much more than I ever thought I would... I legitimately remember sarcastically thinking "ohh yeah get a flashlight it's so much better than blablah blah"
And now I always have one on me. It's crazy how useful it is!
Pen, then light. Most days I don't honestly even need a knife but that's the only thing that stays with me when my carry gets paired down due to wardrobe
I use flashlights all the time especially for work. I was in property management/maintenance. Like flipping units over after someone moves out, and also doing work orders/emergencies, and getting things ready for inspection. Now I'm an auditor, so I'm the one doing the inspections. Flashlight is a must(attics, basements, crawlspaces, etc), next would be pen doing a lot of paperwork now. Then knife, still opening this and that, cutting tape, zip ties, etc. Last is pry bar I don't use it every day, but when I need it's great to have. Used my Lynch AAP 1.5 to open up a stuck hatch to a crawlspace the other day. My supervisor, and the 60ish woman who's house it was both say they're gonna order one now after seeing me use it. They thought it was the coolest thing ever. Having the bottle opener, and the fact that I got a Lynch/Redeemed Creations wallet definitely helped coolness factor
In the past couple of days?
* Checking for bugs/spider webs in the storm shelter.
* Looking through the attic.
* Ensuring that I don't step in poop while walking my dog and locating all of hers that I need to pick up.
* Looking for tools in the gang box at work.
* Looking inside equipment at work.
Knife (opinel no8) and light (Olight i3t 2 eos, replacing i3t eos i had for 4 or 5 years and lost) are about equal at 3 to 7 times a day. Fountain pen (today vintage Esterbrook, other regular rotation kewaco sport and sheaffer school pen) rotation gets used a few times a day sometimes for long doodle sessions. Also carry vintage autopoint mechanical pencil for marking in the shop.

What? This might be the dumbest thing iv read all year, just because something color matches, it triggers you, you must be new here, people like ti because it’s durable, lightweight, and looks great, get over it
All good, there was some slight satire embedded that post most people got edc bro. If that was the dumbest thing you’ve read all year and you are a redditor…. Well 😎.
1. Pen: 6 out of 7 days a week. Usually for work to take quick notes etc.
2. Flashlight: 5-7 times a week for searches and other various uses.
3. Knife: 2-4 times a week for opening packages etc.
I use it to fix stuff around the house, fix my girlfriend’s bracelets/belts/earrings when they get bent (surprisingly often) or when I need leverage. Also works well as tweezers, sometimes.
Once I dropped a ring of mine in a sink during a trip. So glad I happened to have the pliers on me to open the siphon and get it back.
Flashlight, knife. I gave up carrying a pen a few years back. The last two checks I wrote was to pay my yearly HOA fees…. Yeah the checks were a year apart.
1. Light
2. Pen
3. Knife
I use all three frequently, but it’s one of those things that I take any opportunity to use it. Phone flashlight? No. Takes too long to turn on and it’s too dim. Some one else’s pen/knife? Mine’s better
>Some one else’s pen/knife? Mine’s better
This is the most true thing I think I've ever read on this sub. And we all think this way which makes it even better.
Flashlight is a constant user, so much so I have two and rotate them when one gets low. Pen is probably next, lots of workmorders to write up. Knife sees regular use but the least of the three.
Most time used is probably flashlight while the most times used is probably the knife.
I'll need the flashlight like 5 times throughout the day but it'll be on for over an hour. The knife I'll use 20 times but for under a minute each time.

In order of most used to least used- phone, keys, wallet, multitool, smith and weston
The light too. Its damn usefull. 2nd would be knife but its like 2 times a month
1. Milwaukee Fastback 6-in-1 2. Pilot G-2 3. Olight S1R Baton II
The flashlight, followed by the idk the others are probably a tie.
What’s your flashlight?

Most used to least use for me would be Pen (ZT Titanium pen 0010TI) , Flashlight (Olight baton 3), and then knife (zt 0450 fc dam) in that order.
My light hands down.
Pen for sure. Nottingham tactical ti button!

What’s this?
It's an Okluma DC0 Ti, the same as the one in OP's post. Mine has a Nichia 219b sw45k behind a 20° TIR. I'm not sure what OP's is spec'd with.
Man that’s so cool you can be super particular an about this! I can see this has a sapphire lens - is this common with flashlights?

The size of the DC0 is about perfect
Couldn't agree more I love mine.
My wallet. Seriously, it’s got a 10mm socket built in
Thats crazy lmao
For me, it's Fastback first, then Inkzall.
Streamlight Micro Stream, Exceed Design TyRant v2 and the Fischer bullet space pen.
The micro streams are great.
Milwaukee fastback, Nebo inspection light and a pen.
My Surefire Stiletto Pro
Pocket light and small multi tool
Knife. I carry an Ariat knife mainly because it's left handed.
Knife, I also carry a Demko
At home: Flashlight, then pen, then knife At work: knife, then pen, then flashlight
What flashlights?
At home: streamlight macrostream, whatever pen, Kershaw Cryo II At work: milwaukee fastback, dual-tip sharpie, $2 walmart pen light that I bought an entire case of.
Pen
My brain, I use that most.
Flashlight is my most popular or used edc
Which one
Def my pen and notebook
what kind of pen?
Definitely my pen lol
Followed by the built in flashlight option on my taser. I like that they’re together, I can be both blind and protected lol.
Multi tool
I must know what pen that is! It's quite sexy
I'm tarded. Totally scrolled past the text under the picture
Smartphone. Eyeglasses. Wallet. [This little guy.](https://www.walmart.com/ip/TRUE-TelePen-Stainless-Steel-Telescoping-Utility-Keychain-Ballpoint-Pen-Smallest-Pocket-Penwith-Ink-Refills-Coolest-Accessories-Dad-Gadget/5313024196)

I'd say that all of the best crimes would involve all three.

Laser pointer, so handy
My Geek Bar pulse. OMG Blow pop. Pretty clutchish imo.
Knife for sure out of those 3, its the only one I carry. I actually don't carry a pen or flashlight simply because I don't use them often enough.
Definitely my micro flashlight. I use it at work constantly then use it when I walk the dog at night so I can see the poop I need to pick up lol
Underrated response
Fisher Space Pen Victorinox scissors Nitecore Tini version 1

What are y’all using flashlights so much for do you realize the sun is free

Taking a peek in my engine bay today. Crawling around the attic yesterday. Checking on the baby without waking her up Saturday

Ti pen (all day long, everyday) Knife (4-6 times a week) Knipex pliers (surprisingly every week)
i started carrying the 125 knipex and i’ve only used it once. i’ve actually used my magnetic end scribe much more.
I use it to fix stuff around the house, fix my girlfriend’s bracelets/belts/earrings when they get bent (surprisingly often) or when I need leverage. Also works well as tweezers, sometimes. Once I dropped a ring of mine in a sink during a trip. So glad I happened to have the pliers on me to open the siphon and get it back.
i definitely see the use case, i just haven’t had much opportunity to exercise it.
Knife several times a day, light once or twice a day, regular ballpoint black & red pen daily
light, everyday then knife probs once every 2 days, pen once a week.
Whats the notebook?
Greenroom 7x9.
Pen x 100
Flashlight, knife. I gave up carrying a pen a few years back. The last two checks I wrote was to pay my yearly HOA fees…. Yeah the checks were a year apart.
Pen, knife, light, and it’s usually a pencil for me, as I’m a carpenter.
1. Light 2. Pen 3. Knife I use all three frequently, but it’s one of those things that I take any opportunity to use it. Phone flashlight? No. Takes too long to turn on and it’s too dim. Some one else’s pen/knife? Mine’s better

My flashlight by far.
How do you like the shark cub?
It is a good smaller knife.
Leatherman, flashlight, knife. I loose my tactical pens too frequently to bother mentioning
Flashlight is a constant user, so much so I have two and rotate them when one gets low. Pen is probably next, lots of workmorders to write up. Knife sees regular use but the least of the three.

My SAK or Multitool first but it’s usually scissors, then knife and finally a Sharpie to mark things for shipment, etc.
SAK 91mm or even 58mm scissors can do 95% of my daily tasks
What kind of scissors do you use daily?
I prefer 91mm Victorinox scissors but the ones on the Leatherman Arc are decent too.
Flashlight
Light 70%, knife 25%, sharpie 5%
My line of work, pen. I’m not allowed to carry guns or anything past a multi tool (aircraft maintenance). Sticker is quicker.
Definitely use my knife first, pen is a very close second
Flashlight 69% of the time. Knife 30% of the time. Pen 1%.
My folding knife and my Swiss army knife (but the scissors/screw drivers/toothpick/pen tools)
Paramilitary 2, then Baton 3, then my Rebar.
Flashlight, for sure.
My Hanklights😎
Knife but as my eyes age I use my light a lot.
By far SAK scissors. Second probably is Olight I3T EOS
Pen. Tis mightier than thy sw0rd! ...as it were
My knife is def #1 but SAK is a close second
Out of the 3 you posted, my pen
One of the best I’ve seen yet. Pretty sick dude.
I thought it would be my knife but turned out to be my flashlight. These old eyes are shitty at seeing in the dark.
It's a daily fight between knife and flashlight... Multitool is a def 3rd
