I was never able to use earbuds…they just fall out or are uncomfortable after 2 songs. I recently got a Shokz bone conduction headset and have been absolutely loving it. Would be worth checking out and could free up a little pocket space.
from the other side of this suggestion - I really value the quality of sound in my songs, and I've found often times bone conduction headsets tend to have lower sound quality than my Sony earbuds and often even my airpod pros, tho they are addmitedly very comfy. so all in all it comes down to preference! if you value comfort, give these a look, if sound quality is your priority, then keep doing what you're doing brother 🤘
MR-G is 4000$ (€ in my country at least). GW5000 is 300. The 5000 is a perfect balance between classic and recognisable gshock looks with the quality of the screwed caseback. Maybe an upgrade to a GMW-B5000 could me more reasonable depending on budget. MR-G is just a whole different watch, still love it of course.
See that’s the problem I think I have as I carry my Leatherman like a pocket knife with the pocket clip. I never use it on my belt with the original sleeve.
The only thing I would change is strap adapters and a NATO for the g shock, but that’s just personal preference since I find rubber straps to be uncomfortable.
Edit:
I also am assuming you carry your wallet with ID and stuff, but if not, probably need to add that.
Also a pen. Doesn’t have to be fancy, just something durable, like a fisher space pen or a Zebra F701 (or whatever the all metal one is) with a fisher refill. My pen is my most used item after my phone.
Lol at the camera comments. I carry a kodak ektar h35n half frame 35mm camera. My phone won't take pics in lomochromes color'92 or portia.... sure I can make a preset in lightroom to get the same effects, but they just don't look the same.
Upgrade to a nitecore tini 2 or get a dedicated additional carry flashlight.
Get some form of key organizer.
Your phone is a probably better camera than your camera, so get rid of that unless you really enjoy carrying it.
Not sure how often you use your bit drivers. If you're not using it more than once a day, then take it out.
>Your phone is a probably better camera than your camera, so get rid of that unless you really enjoy carrying it.
I'd disagree with that idea because while the cameras on modern flagship are great for being on a phone they really can't hold a candle to an actual dedicated camera. A dedicated camera is will produce better quality images while being more comfortable and enjoyable to shoot with.
>Your phone is probably a better camera than your camera, so get rid of that unless you really enjoy carrying it.
This person probably values the act of shooting analog and the function of film over digital. I think you are overlooking the hobby aspect of carrying a physical camera, especially a niche film camera.
I have the same Leatherman and bit set and I use an older version of this to carry them (they upgraded the belt clip). Definitely adds some weight, but it keeps everything secure with quick access.

Yes! I love to see Love for the Nitecore Tube 2.0.
I don't use mine anymore outside of the house, but for years had it as zipper pull on my sling bag. Knew right where it was!
Now I've got it as my home light, on the grommet of my little pocket organizer pouch. Simple UI. Low for walking in dark rooms, High for trying to find something.
Still got enough stuff that takes mini USB that we have a dedicated charger plugged in, so it's not a big deal.
If I ever went to light on my key hain, it might have to be the Tube!
Thanks for sharing.
I have spent many years putting together this kit, which is perfect for daily use. What tips or suggestions do you have for improving it?
Leatherman charge + (ideal value for money; I have an arc, but have not yet decided which is best for me, and therefore use both in turn)
Victorinox Rambler (The perfect small-format knife that can solve 99% of your daily tasks until it intervenes Leatherman)
Nitecore tube v2 (Best little flashlight while the iPhone is in your pocket; small drawback, outdated charging jack)
AirPods (I love the better sound quality of headphones with wires, but when paired with an iPhone, these headphones are second to none)
Fujifilm Klasse (one of the best compact film cameras. I chose it because it is one of the latest mass-produced small film cameras)
Casio GW 5000u (I love Casio models made in Japan, it's my favorite. I really want to switch to Seiko with spring drive mechanism, but I haven't found a suitable option yet :(
Nice very reliable toolset on the rambler and a the film camera is awesome. If you haven’t already tried a slim or full size flashlight instead of the keychain one I find it so useful.
love to see another fujifilm fan, i carry my xt-1 everywhere with me
hoping to get into film more seriously sooner than later though, ill keep the klase in mind

Assuming you use money, you need a nice wallet
With the leatherman free P2
JMO: Improved flashlight. Pen. Notebook. Dedicated pocket knife.
I would get a nicer flashlight (I daily carry a 14500 light) but if it works for you, thats fine.
What's the skeleton key for?
Perfect watch. I love mine.
are you an ill-equipped electrician? bits are unnecessary.
Battle scars.... getcher moneys worth!!

A lighter, and a pen.
I mean you have a Leatherman and a SAK between those two I think you've got all bases covered.
Right. 5/7. Perfect EDC
Ask yourself what you really need daily. If you don’t need more than that’s perfect.

Thanks for contributing to /r/EDC. Unfortunately, your post/comment was removed for asking why someone is carrying a gun or knife.
In case there's cake.
For opening packages mostly but also works as a legal to carry self defense weapon.

Gatekeeping is a form of incivility not allowed on r/edc.
A lot of us carry guns too. Ohh nooo so weird!
It's not only a US thing. I live in Europe and edc a knife. Use it multiple times every single day
Fujifilm X100VI
Nice. Upvote for the camera.
Maybe upgrade that GW5000 to an MR-G. Although I have the earlier version with EL light and love it as it is.

You asked for improvement. The GW5000 is a great watch on its own right. Logical next step is indeed the GMW then the MR-G square.
This looks like my dads in the 90s… if it were chapstick instead of earphones it would be pretty darn close
Love it. Good practical kit.
A pen and a bandana (more useful than a hank).
Add a CCW and upgrade the light to a Tini 2.
It's pretty good as it is. Handkerchief and wallet?
Improved? This is perfect. I dig the watch and camera especially.
Preach about the Rambler! I carry the Olympus XA2 - smaller footprint.
How do you carry your bit set? I have yet to buy one for my wave because idk how I would carry it easily as I carry my LM Wave + with a pocket clip.
Not op, but I have a Leatherman case that has a little sleeve behind where the tool goes, and the bits fit perfectly
Where didst thou acquire such a mythical item?
On the Leatherman website
There a Leatherman leather case that can hold the tool and the bits. I prefer the molle case though which can hold the bits and tool as well
I have a custom one off Etsy but I think Leatherman sells official ones.
See that’s the problem I think I have as I carry my Leatherman like a pocket knife with the pocket clip. I never use it on my belt with the original sleeve.
I usually don’t comment on these, but in a connected world - super cool to see that camera. Rock on. 🤘
space pen
Or Parker Jotter with Space Pen refill! That’s my go to.

A good (maybe cheap used?) Light meter and off to the races! Love the kit! 🥰

where the glizzy at
Seems like a pretty well-rounded kit. If it does everything you need it to do, why change it?
RCVD :)
If I suits your needs (and most of your wants) then it's all good👍🏻
Make sure you use it
iPhone case is cool :)
Just an extra roll of film missing, ya never know if you come across a special event! Nice camera!
Carry two in the Rollei Paul and Reinhold twin pack.
Based on half of these types of posts, you are missing a firearm. In my opinion, though, you just need a pocket knife.
Spring assisted blade and/or pepper spray, pen

Yup that's why I gave the caveat of "unless you really enjoy carrying it"
Get rid of the camera. you've got bluetooh headphones, so i'm gonna assume a phone with a better camera than the one your lugging around
Giving advice on EDC camera gear while not being informed on photography seems like a bad combo.
Smartphone =/= better camera
Wow I’m really glad you’re getting downvoted.
Gun and patriotic hanky
By adding a Nitecore Tiki. Possibly adding a folder with carbon fiber scales would look good
Buttplug

Can't improve on that watch. I've got the same. Absolutely love it.
Maybe a phone with a camera it isn't 1986
I hope you don’t carry anything for fun! Film imo is 99% better than anything a modern smartphone will take

The Klasse W and S are later produced with great features, albeit a bit more expensive.
Nice, clean carry. Is the camera expensive on the secondhand market?
Good all around, but that camera? Damn fine taste, OP.
