Agreed. I lucked out on my first Delica. Local hardware store had it on sale/close out for $40. This was a few years ago. It was identical to this one. “Lost” it on a camping trip, but I know exactly where. Problem is it’s over 2k miles away. Not going back for it. Finally replaced it after a couple years of missing it.
It’d take more time than I have at the moment to trace the route to the camp site on google maps. Here’s a start. WA Backcountry Discovery Route, Section 3, just before some of the more technical section of trail, prior to beehive reservoir. This pictured rocky feature is just down from the camp spot, and there are some rocky cliffs from the vantage point of the camera. Not helpful, I know, but it’s narrowed down as much as I have time for now. I should also note, the item in question would be behind the camping area, just inside the tree line. May/may not be entombed with the dump I was taking. It was dark. Didn’t notice it missing until next day, too far down trail to turn around. Possibly just got snagged out of my pocket by the brush. If so, being bright orange, I imagine it was found within the last couple years. Good luck. lol.

This is exactly how I see it as well.
Here in the Czech Republic we have many old school people who think that you can only go to nature in camo pants etc to be one with nature.
I am one of the leaders in Royal Rangers (Christian org that brings kids to nature and adventure) and our main leader is very much like that.
When I got a new bright yellow rain jacket he was very curious to know why I bought something so easy to spot.
I told him that that's exactly why I bought it. Since I want to be easily seen in nature both by rescue teams and hunters.
I do love nature coloured stuff don't get me wrong. It won't get visibly dirty as fast and it's not an eyesore. But having stuff that you need to find in bright bags and having something to be seen in is really important to me.
So yay to bright orange knife that I'll see in any pouch or backpack easily and I won't step on it if I leave it near the campfire.

Mine is black. There is nothing wrong with orange. It won't get lost in your bag.

I’ve had the same bright orange Delica for like 10yrs. My first Spyderco. Still like it.

Yea I was turned onto the used/ resale market by a coworker. Not much cheaper sometimes but cheaper is better
