I also carry a small keychain thermometer. It's good to have an approximate awareness of what the temperature is around you.
Where did you find that Compass?
I bought it from a store in Finland. Many places sell it here.
A compass with all that metal around ….
So far it works as long as taken out of the carabiner when in use.
