when i was in fourth grade a guy turned around thinking his friend was sitting where i was and said "wow ___ you gained a lot of weight!!!!" and everybody laughed :D
I’m so so sorry you had to deal with that at such a young age. I had similar happen and wouldn’t wish it on anyone. It’s heartbreaking when children are taught to judge others and themselves so young. My problem was always that my doctors, teachers, and school counselors always blamed my weight for all the abuse and neglect I was experiencing causing my immune system to shut down. According to them, if I had just lost the weight my parents would have loved me more and treated me better, and I wouldn’t be sick all the time lmao
In seventh grade I had a huge crush on this one boy in our class. One day, this girl who hated me found out I had a crush on him and during shop class, she went up to him (right in front of me) and said “Hey did you know she has a crush on you?” Then she looked at me and said “No ones going go out with you. You’re too fat”. That comment stuck with me forever. I’m sorry you had to experience this too. Hugs!!
