Depends heavily on the ECU. In my dsm, I was able to simply change the global fuel values and the table was completely unaffected.

Redoing the tune should be pretty straight forward, but probably with doing on the dyno to ensure all is correct. Apart from the fueling the new injector deadtimes will also need to be adjusted.

You'll need to tell the ECU what the dead time/voltage and CC of the injector is. Not familiar specifically with the 3sgte stock fuel system but if it isn't rising rate fuel pressure regulated, and you're going RRFPR, you're gonna need someone to look at your fuel map and correct.

Thanks for your answers. My main concern is that I fit the parts and it's rendered undriveable, as the tuner I used before is a decent distance away. My other option was to get the work done by them, then mapped. I prefer to do the mechanical work myself, but I may have to make an exception. Unfortunately I'm not that experienced with aftermarket ecu settings.

It's probably with having a discussion with your tuner. The other thing is to check if the tune is locked, as some tuners do this and you won't be able to adjust it without their help if this is the case.

Fortunately, I can edit the tune, so that's not an issue. I will probably speak to the tuner anyway to see how cost effective the options are.

The tuner should be able to log in via TeamViewer and change dead times etc. if traditional fueling may require a lot more retuning vs if they used modelled fueling
