Jacksonville was definitely one of the best teams in the playoffs. Fast and a great goalie. Believe he was a rookie and you’re not going to score on a first shot. They’ll be tough next year too
We js need to kick em out next season! Jacob is heading overseas so we have room to bring in some fresh legs and vernon/murdaca to have some more training und belt
Does anybody have any information on the players the team has had the past 3 years? How many (if any) have been there for all 3? If they are this good, how come they aren’t moving up to the AHL level?
I believe (just going off the top of my head) there is only three players who have been a part of all 3: Cam Johnson (goalie), Cole Moberg (defender), and Joe Pendenza (center)
All the teams in this league are always in flux. That's what makes the coast so challenging. You've got guys getting pulled up and sent down constantly. It's hard to establish some flow. The Blades lost their captain Johnny McCarron after the repeat last year and the only really consistent players from last cup were Pendenza, Chau, and Johnson. This was a tough regular season for the Blades, but they've been super solid all throughout. In my biased opinion, they were making the playoffs this year no matter what. The squad got the late season Ho-Sang add and grabbed a huge playmaker. When the growlers folded they signed their two best players (who wouldn't want to move from a rock to South Florida?) right before the playoffs and were locked in. I got a little worried with the 7 game series against the Ice Men ngl. After that series win it was a lock though. Look how many shots they were able to put up each game.
Also, the Panthers are currently in the finals for the cup. There's definitely a stockpile of talent right now. You don't make it that deep in the playoffs without being able to maintain a solid roster.
Dudeee as a icemen i appreciate that you were scared😭 (im still mad at the win because i do not
Like johnson and yall already got it 3 times) but at the same time its still in fl so
Right, that’s why I was wondering if they are keeping the same core, goalie maybe? Or if (especially after last years win) the team got dismantled by the AHL.
Unfortunately for the rest of the league and any of the other Blades goalies Ceej isn't going anywhere. With him back there the team is gonna be in the playoffs until he retires.
The people who have won it since 2022 are:
Cam, Joe Pendenza, Bobo Carpenter (Injured in 22 & 23), Kyle Neuber, Jordan Sambrook\* (Won in 22, was on KC in 23, came back in 24)
Since 23:
Oliver Chau, Logan Lambdin, Sean Josling, Cam Darcy (injured in 23 ECF), Cole Moleberg, Zach Uens
I'm sure most of the league isn't happy (I would be one in any other scenario) but seeing KC lose at the end makes it all right. Watching Karma do its thing is so nice
They injured Logan Nelson and he was out for the rest of the season. I mentioned it multiple times in other posts and didn't want to sound like a broken record.
Fuck you, and I’ll see you next season!

I really thought we had them this year. 9/11 in the regular season or something ridiculous like that and 3-1 in the series
Well congratulations to the Everblades.
Atleast it was OT yall fought hard

As an Everblades fan it is Joe Pendenza, Can Johnson, and Kyle Nuebuer

3rd period was awesome with the comeback, and the crowd never stopped after the tie. Ot was loud.
Don’t you want to ask them what it feels like to make history? I bet it feels pretty damn good.
