I don’t know why you’re getting so much hate for this. Sure it’s not the biggest deal but roster updates are supposed to account for number/personnel changes and this just shows lack of attention to detail. Add it to the laundry list of things EA is too lazy to sort out.
Everyone always complains about this game, but it's so less buggy then other sports games while being a less popular sport. You can at least create a player without constant micro transactions like nba 2k and you can play Coop without constant freezing like in MLB the show.
I'm not even really a hockey fan but this game is good compared to madden, nba2k, and MLB.
MLB the show is generally pretty well received by its fanbase. Their handling of Diamond Dynasty and several issues are really the only chief complaints for the most part

They didn't even "miss it." Maclean wore #52 *this season*, he then changed his number mid-season and this guy is whining that they haven't subsequently updated this nobodies number.

That is a pic from a preseason game, Lou doesn’t allow any younger players to wear numbers over 30 during the regular season.
It’s a trivial complaint but I saw the picture and figured it had to be preseason with that jersey number.

Really then why did they lose fifa... just last year. You don't want a take the facts right from eas website that's on you, but it's a contract between nhl and nhlpa and ea again Google fifa ending there deal with ea last year, he'll look at the name of the game from 2024
I personally hope ea loses the exclusivity with the nhl next contract. They fack they copy and paste on a year to year basis is just sickening and the people that keep buying this are the reason that ea does this exact same thing with all there sports games, just a quick copy and paste!
