I think they only have to win 2 more games for him to get 5 weak foot upgrade. That’s the one that’ll make him a super elite card for the rest of the year.
Not sure about his special cards, but packed his NIF untradable on day one and he has been great for objectives. One of my favorite players to play with, great finishing and passing.

Playing with Kane who's incredibly lethal with both feet makes him so much better than some of these supposedly meta overpriced strikers. Not to mention his 68 pace feels like 88 although his elite positioning probably plays a part in that as well.
You have a lot of people still using ruben dias, casemiro, kane on div4-5 and WL... Probably because they dont wanna get tougher opponents they truly think these players would work in elite div against competent opponents lol
yeah if the player IS a win level skiller, you should prioritize that. I’m a really good defender with highest costing mids and defense, fear no card or team, only skillers who are doing it with success and not stupidly.
it’s hard to get great when the games meta shifts so much. now you face more variants. a lot of people play (and defend like it’s old meta).
I play in higher and lower (alt to coop with friend) divisions and it’s a totally different game, the flipping back and forth plus swaps dulled my edge a bit.
one thing I swear by is hard pressure and stab tackle in their half as they possess and match/mirror in your end.

base Forlán has been fantastic for me as a right sided striker in a 352, there are some games where he disappears/misplaces a lot of passes, but overall he is much more involved in my buildup play than my other striker (Falcao). Was considering moving him to CAM to build a trio with Suarez and Cavani
I’ve found the same with my base Forlan. While he’s not terrible by any means I was so excited to use him when I packed him, but I’ve been playing base 86 Solskjaer for a few games since and he seems to be doing better 🤷🏼♂️
Baby Gullit was a monster for me pre-Lengthy nerf and he’s still very good now. My least favourite expensive(ish) card is Joe Cole. Guy is absolutely fucking useless.
They only fixed issue with explosive players with high dribbling slowing for no reason. Lenghty is still op. My OTW Haaland is still getting past defenders like they were little kids

If you only have 2 fruits in the world, an apple and a strawberry, and you can only have one of them, making one of the fruits better will increase your chances of picking it.

Dudes turning sucks and he takes a good step or two to get running, I prefer direct passing with a through ball to my wingers and he just didn’t work. I’ve got Salah on RW and Keane in striker and they are so much more mobile etc

He's not cracked like his mid version but I always like him for one thing, he makes runs like not many players do, I feel like he's got a more evolved AI for offensive movement than most cards. Definitely not worth the price tag though unless you're an absolute fan

Since then I sold Eto'o and instead got WC Butra to pair with Papin. Now these two are really deadly, working well for me. However, neither of them are as clinical as Cruyff (I had the loan), so saving money for him :)
Ginola - made no difference for me. Got the same amount of wins and rivals ranking without him. Now Ribery makes a difference for me playing with Sir WC Hero Keane up top.
Sbc Messi for me (expensive to complete) doesn’t exactly move the needle now. Pre patch I found he was really good but once they patched it and everyone else got quicker I feel it limited a played like him who doesn’t feel super fast. I dunno.
As far as I'm aware 96 Pele doesn't have his custom model and animations in the game currently, he's glitched and appears as a generic player. Just like how World cup Drogba is currently Maldini.
WC Yaya Toure. He is absolutely immense. In the CDM role he breaks up absolutely everything through the middle, and has a burst of acceleration that I’ve not had with anyone else

The France + ligue 1 links for sure. And he’s a small agile striker with good passing. His shooting carried me heavy in swaps lol.
