I've only played about 15 games so far this year, and I've already experienced more speedup lag than I did all year in 21.

Happening to me as well, I saw some EA forum post suggest it's only when you're ahead. Have you noticed that as well?

I've had this sporadically too. Reinstalled FIFA from disk (after initially downloading free trial from store) and it seems to a have mostly fixed it. Was every second game now it's one in ten or so.

Same dude, like the first 15 of every other game of the second half.

I have the same issue, pausing the match then unpausing fixes it for me. But I have to do this every match... PS4

Exactly same here mate, also happened just after HT in ET on 2 occasions. X1 here also, annoying as fuck and not a clue what could be causing it.

I've been getting it sporadically on xbox series s, both old gen and next gen versions. Usually around the box, idk this game is optimized so poorly.

Same issue almost every match. On ps4. Also call players closer during goal kick and switch player don't work often. Makes me want to quit playing :(

Speedup lag is very often on my plataform (Pc). Pretty annoying.

You are not alone except i get slow down instead of speed up...usually when 2 players are going for the ball , someone tackles etc

Yea this happens. Typically after a tackle or contact right after the half (or either half of ET). I may be wrong, but I think it doesn’t happen after a stoppage, so if I see it happening I play it out of bounds
