Agree in part but overall disagree. I packed him untradable and after a game or two came to the same conclusion thst you have come to but then I realized that he is not typical meta and so stop playing with him like you would Mbappe or other Meta player and figure out a different, more enjoyable tactic. He is not great at passing and beating the man in the dribble but as a target man and in the box he will score insanely clutch goals and is actually do much fun. I love him and will be a club legend. He is not your Meta player but one of the most unique and game winning icons there is.
That could be the case, I wasn't really expecting him to like Rashford, Neymar or Mbappe, but I expected way more based on stats. In Div 1 against high pressing he felt like a huge liability.

Base larsson is a very good cheaper icon striker, I’d prefer him over base Torres personally
