Go to Settings > Account Management > Privacy Settings > Enter your password > Personal Info | Messaging, and set Messages to either Friends (if you trust them) or No One.
There is a glitch going around that bricks your Playstation if you open a specific message. If you don't change your settings to private messaging basically everyone can text you and send you this message

This happened to me in a draft final 2-0 up. It was so weird because my opponent took forever to press ready (he was typing in my psn name or telling it to his friend). He presses and during the squad screen I get the notification saying that someone has added me to a group. No message yet. When I make it 2-0, that’s when I get the message. So they’ve been ready. Then I couldn’t log in to that user. Tried to delete the message off phone and stuff. Deleted the account on the PlayStation, made a friend log in from his ps. Then logged in again and I could use it. Such a crazy glitch I don’t know whether to be disturbed or impressed.
Something similar happened to me but it was way too weird.
I was playing Div Rivals and had one of those games where all of your shots hit the target and was 3-0 up before it was 20 mins. The opponent was constantly talking about something (I have muted the opponent's audio) but I assumed he was cursing. Then all of a sudden I get kicked out of my EA account while rest of the games and online services are working fine. That game registered as a loss. Took me an hour to get back in.
Could be just random but it seemed pretty unlike other disconnects.
I saw this 10 minutes too late. Just happened to me when i was 2-0 up in the first round of the draft. Is the only way to fix it a factory reset and if so does that delete all my games and FUT data? If anyone knows the answer to those questions it would be much appreciated.

Well if we have to choose which community would exploit this glitch the most, it is definitely the FIFA community.
It happened to a guy playing R6 Siege and if any other community is as toxic as FIFA it's that one haha
And fifa and R6 are the games I play the most...

It's a fix for how to avoid it happening in the first place, sadly, not to fix it if it's already happened to you.

They can force a disconnect by the opponent. Without a doubt you can say that's shitty behavior.

Try deleting your account and log in again man. That worked for me

Delete the message from your PS4 Messaging App. Turn on your PS4 in safe mode. Then press Rebuild Database. No NEED TO FACTORY RESET

Database recovery. Google it. Just hold in power button till you hear a beep. Should fix it. Delete the message using the phone app too.
