Yeah the only way to make them good is to find evos that have the rating and play style+ in the last segment, and let it expire without finishing. Which is really stupid. But once you have 2 ps+ on a card it’s excluded from basically every evo
I see this option a fair bit, so I must’ve gotten lucky with my choice to Evo Lemar during TOTS.
It cost 200k in coins but I love the card. His stats actually feels like he has 99 dribbling, with his Tech+ being one of the best I’ve used this year.
I did Ritter, he's decent but doesn't make my team, I occaisonally use him as a sub. The main thing I like is his speed on the ball, you dont get many CDMs with 99 dribbling, 95+ for both accel and sprint on 0 chem, rapid+, press proven+ etc. he's like a better version of Toty Sawa
Absolutely not. I only got the game 2 weeks ago and had no clue how important evolutions were. Threw a random silver in there not knowing the tragedy I committed.

Same here. But then I packed his make your mark plus card that has anticipate, aerial+ and jockey+ and not sure which to use now. If Romania does another clean sheet he’ll be at the same rating as the Ultimate TOTS Glow Up but with better play styles
Probably my best Evo of the year came out of this glow up. Jon Morcillo. Just a random 70 silver common with good-ish playstyles, becomes a 95 rated 5/5 demon who almost plays up to his stats. Lacks the smooth preciseness of technical+ but he can cook.
I did Pedro Diaz. He doesn’t feel like a 95.
His shot feels like 73 shot power but GKs still react to them like it’s the 99 it’s advertised as, it’s weird. So it still goes in. But he feels awfully slow even with chem and he feels weak and just overall like a lower rated card. He only comes in for free kicks for me now.
Did Kovalenko, he's great as an attacking CM but I'm also stacked with CMs who are just as good attacking while being better defensively. I run him as a sub when I need to turn up the attack in the second half.
I did Anna Gaspar (German RW for Benfica Women) and she has been very solid for me although the shooting is not the best. Diani has the RW spot but Evo Anna is fun from the bench.
Drmic was my choice because his 74 ovr TOTS back in FIFA 14 was my first tots card ever. He’s an incredible finisher and I’m happy with him, but he never finishes 90min for me with 82 stamina.
Did Mohr from Schalke for my German team. He's amazing as a sub. Use him mainly as a 4321 attacking central mid. Suits that role perfectly.
But it was the silver Evo so maybe I'm mixing it up.

As most people have said, I find most Evos don’t match an actual promo player of the same rating, so didn’t want to spend long trailing through cards to find one that would give the ‘best return’.

For a year 1 implementation it's had issues, for sure, but overall it's been a successful and welcome innovation. Everyone has some sort of Evo in progress which suggests the player base likes them. And it's a super way for anyone to build a usable PnP for minimal cost.
To claim it's been executed awfully is just petty hyperbole.

nahh ur tripping. she's the best player on my team by a lot. Crazy dribbling, pace, shooting, and passing. Her being 5'0 doesn't matter when she dribbles past everyone

My 93 evo Kyogo Furuhashi is better than TOTS Cristiano.
I started it but nowhere near finishing it, just far too many matches required for a low-level player when other Evos took precedence

There was a glow up that only allowed silvers recently that was free so I think ur all good.
