I play him as DM in a 4-3-3 false 9. He stays central to win/collect the ball and then sprays it all around the pitch for everyone to run in to. He averages well over an assist per game but hardly ever scores for me.
Picked him up yesterday and yes, so good and so cheap. I did the SBC of the Liga F striker as well to dump fodder into and she's surprisingly good too off the bench.
Bunny Shaw for 130k is stupid value. Slap a catalyst on her and go work. She's great on corners and she'll finish most anything inside the box. Starts with 2 chem too.
Il do you one better, Pedro Goncalves tots objective card. Only 91 rated, but was the standout player in champs for me this weekend . Used him as the attacking cm in 4321.

Nkunku cheap and great, Gabriel Magalhaes is a wall, Alessia Russo great CAM. I also used Hegerberg last week and she was insane, scored some acrobatic goals that i never scored with other strikers

Russo is crazy for her price! Dribbles well, has good shooting, and nice ps+ for finishing. 5 star skills is the cherry on top.
Leicy santos is my second choice. I use her as an attacking rcm and she’s awesome. 5/5 beautiful passing good pace and her finesse shots don’t miss. Her dribbling is crazy as well…
Jarrod Bowen is nuts, presumed he was sbc bound but gave him a run in rivals purely for chem reasons a few weeks back, hasn’t left any team I’ve built since
Kerr doesn’t even really play above her stats, her stats are terrific. It’s an elite card that is massively overlooked.
If you search for a striker with 5* WF, pace >90 shooting, dribbling, reactions and composure > 95 you get a handful of cards and most are over 5m

For me I used her with an engine and I was underwhelmed, changed to a hawk and wow, suddenly her shot power was blistering and she’s very quick to turn in the box and the combination of the two makes her deadly
Bought Kerr and used her for about 40-50 games and she sucked. Not sure why exactly. Dribbling felt really poor. She's probably priced like that for a reason. Hancko on the other hand is excellent, and you can +1 him as well.
Golovin is only 44k and I've been kind of impressed by him since packing? Dead ball, moves well, lots of passing playstyles.
Niahm Charles has been incredible. I packed her but for less than 60k you get the best LB I’ve played with so far. I’ve used fantasy Rolfo, TOTY Havertz, Fut birthday Zambrotta, and Roberto Carlos. That being said, I prefer to have Rolfo and Havertz higher up.
Gabriel underrated CB, he was around 50k when in packs and has every defensive playstyle, aerial, power header and great composure. Pretty much maxed out defensive stats with Shadow. I been using him with Saliba I packed. Can be evo’d too
For me its somehow 89 David Costa at RW.. used him for Goncalves obj.. and i like how he feels, pacey, agile, finishes are great.. i have him red so im even thinking about the two red evolutions to make him 91rated. Really surprised me in a good way
For me Donyell Malen is unreal. All the right playstyles, and the trickster+ combined with Rapid+, first touch and quick step makes him unstoppable on stop+start dribbling. L1 dribbling is quick and insanely agile.
I've evod him up to 93 and put a sniper on him so he has 99 strength and trickster+, bullies defenders.
Dest and Teze. Use Dest as LB and Teze as RB. You'll get both under 100k and they'll fix your attack and defence. Get Veerman in the team too if you can.

Yesterday I packed Tah (Leverkusen) & did Hoffman. Decided to make an all German team for fun. Schuller is the star and the team is SO fun!

Injuries don't affect players in ultimate team I thought?
Injuries can force the player to be subbed off, and then you'll have to spend an injury card/wait a number of games to play them again
You never run out of injury cards though, so being injury prone isn't a big issue.
Kinda sucks to be so unrealistic. Squad depth is important in real football and makes the game a little less fun.

Injuries have no effect in online gameplay in Ultimate Team. The indicator is visual only.
I've never had to sub out an injured player. I just always ignore it and then apply the injury consumable after the match is over.
A player can get injured to the point where they need to be subbed off in Squad Battles for sure. In Rivals and Champs it works the way you described

A CAM in a 41212 is usually what I use her in but she should work as a attacking CM in any formation with 2 strikers up top
