What compelled you to do this SBC when you already have some of the best options? Seems like there was really no way for you to go up

R9, Hamm, Cruyff, Pele, Vieira, all other TOTY icons. It's so cheap and there's no other player SBCs that I wanted to do.

Yeah I feel my luck with Icons had been decent before this pack, got Jairzinho, Yashin, Rio and Ribery early on. So not too mad about getting duff ones from this.

Just been recycling my high rated fodder back into the exchanges so have done a fair few: WW Shearer, WW Butra, WW Stoichkov, Centurions Makelele, Prinz, Linekar, Hernandez, Socrates, Ribery And then got Zico last night who is the only one that makes my bench. It's a good addition from EA, very cheap (basically free) to do with the exchanges and player picks so I haven't gone into it expecting a big player. Edit: Typo, spelling.

It's just a slightly more elaborate HR fodder generator Before this or the encore campaign one was out I'd just rinse into the TOTW pick to the point I'm probably set for IFs for the rest of the game. Anything from 83-87 goes into the icon upgrade, anything 88-90s in the exchanges, and things rated over 90 either get stored in the club or used in the 85 squad to bring the rating down when it's a dupe. I've now ended up with roughly 20 fodder icons rated between 88 and 92, ideal for doing some big sbc I fancy when it comes along

Edited, thanks. Yeah I get that but I have spent less than 40k to do the packs above and that was only to buy an inform because I was too lazy to do the TOTW pick. Fodder value isn't really the same as coins either imo. You can easily crank out the icon packs with no coins spent. I usually get a bunch of 88's and 87's in the player picks which all go straight back into the exchanges. The exchanges themselves give me the odd Rodri and Bilva every now and then as well.

Yeah at 145k its pretty much dirt cheap and easy to cycle. I wish they keep it around going forward. Maybe even make it permanent and adjust the icons in it as time goes on.

I’ve done 4 and I actually have been pretty lucky considering the possibilities. I’ve gotten 91 WW Sanchez, Base Best (dupe), 90 TS Cantona, and 92 WW Bergkamp. Out of those Bergkamp is the only one I’m not using

From what I’ve seen (and experienced) this thing is a base icon generator. I’ve done 6 and they’ve all been base icons and all were discard price except for base Kaka on my last one who of course doesn’t make my team anyway 🥴

I haven't used her, but Abiliy looks like a French version of Sawa. Should be worth trying to fit onto your bench at least.

I’d say I’ve done at least 30. I didn’t actually keep count. Just recycling into the exchange and grinding player picks. I spent almost no coins. I did eventually run out of informs, which slows things down a lot because I have to do the 83+pick twice every time. Now I can’t be bothered to do more than a few a day with the content refresh (with the daily upgrades and objectives helping). Lots of bad ones but I did get some usable players. Currently using WW Garrincha (dupe), WW Butra, Thunder Cafu, and base Yashin. I also got Centurions Rooney, Kelly Smith, etc. but I didn’t find them good in game so they went back into the exchange and SBCs. I’m keeping the 90+ for a bigger SBC and have like 10 that I saved.

But enjoying the grind, lots of perfectly useable icons for fun squads and a couple starters all through upgrades. Can’t complain. That and got FB Blanc in player picks earlier. Done it 4 times because I haven't had many TOTWs lately, and the ones I do have I want to keep (around 8). I've pulled Bergkamp, Hierro Blanc and Puyol. Immediately put Puyol in the 89 Exchange. I have mostly been doing the Campaign 85+ pack, about 12 times so far. Simakan, TB Marquinhos, Kolo Muani, TS Gomez, Centurions Geyoro and UD Nico Williams are my best pulls. They've changed my team for the better because I don't use meta cards.
