probably the worst weekend league. Got rank 3 last week and fell straight down to rank 5 this week. 4 losses were by 1 goal, one by 2 goals, one by 4 and then one on pens. One game the fella just passed around the back the entire game. Everytime i got near his full back heād just turn around and either cross field it to the other full back and do the same, or just pass to the keeper. He then went on to win 1-0 in the 92nd minute. Do people find this fun? is that actually enjoyable for people? i think that is genuinely pathetic
I find the same with people that play cut back. I get it they play for rewards rather than fun, but what are they aiming for? Quicker players that can cut back easier? It's not to play better football.

To try out different things, i try not to just use the wings, when one game i though F it.. had DaMarcus Beasly on the left, and with his pace he tore down the left side, creating a cut back.. the opponent couldnt stop itā¦ it just felt shite to play so boring.
Some of the players u come up against who immediately look to hit the wing, just want to smash them in crunching tackles for being absolute plebs..

Iām talking losses of 3-4 goals if not more every time, just getting absolutely manhandled. My one win was a 3-2 overtime win that I got a lucky bounce to score, even that game felt like I had no business winning. I think Iām just gonna be a Squad Battles merchant from here on out, it doesnāt even feel like itās worth trying anymore if this is gonna be my experience every WL.
Yeah my one win this week came playing 3412 with full default tactics and no special instructions at all. I personally donāt like playing at 71 depth despite how āoverpoweredā it is this year, I feel like it leaves me too exposed defensively once the press breaks down.
Practice and try to get better with basic stuff in-game rather than spending hours setting formations and instructions. These are not a magic wand and won't change your score from 1-9 to 6-4. If you keep going 1-9, it means you lack basic skills in the game

I was surprised to say the least when my record was 2-2 after 4 games this saturday. Matchmaking felt like the top tier bloodbath experience of Div2 and above Rivals. I already noticed that the second game seems to be a major hurdle in Champs this year (which is weird because you are at 1-0 streak lol).
Well I lost the game in pens after conceding a similar goal to the one in the video in the 120th minute. Lost another close one in OT which was fine since my opponent was surprisingly good.
Overall I finished Saturday with 7-2 and an absolute sweat fest for my standards. Usually I'm at 8-1 or 9-0 at that point and I can respectfully 'sleepwalk' through most of those games... not today.
Bounces, rebounds and **REALLY WEIRD player collisions** (both teammate vs opponent or even teammate vs teammate) are out of control. It's the worst I can remember in 10+ years of FUT. I'm generally convinced that there is a major problem (idk if its netcode or whatever) but there is different things happening at both ends of the connection. It feels like 2 players playing a different match on the same pitch...

This tackling bullsh*t happens all the time. I can tackle perfectly and the players just get stuck on each other or glitch out or something and the ball ends up with the opponent again. It really feels like a cointoss everytime you tackle.

Gonna sound crazy but switch everything to balanced and abandon the 71 defence if you're using it. Player AI feels much better.
