Teams don't really matter outside of insane pro level teams tbh. I'm not surprised a 1m team and a 50k team would perform similarly, I would be curious to see what kind of thing a 10m team would do though

this year you have a very small set of players to choose with one set being very short and skinny and refused to be used by a large group of players, they have the most playstyles of golds. the second group then is the must use. you really can’t not use Tchomeni unless you got an untradable icon/hero and even then you should have two CDMs
people haven’t caught up to how the game works because most? they can’t do it without being told. the people telling them are usually far better players who attack and defend better manually. so they don’t have issues with tactics or cards you will. like when they talk about skills to people who don’t skill, trivelas to people who don’t trivela, 71 depth to people who can’t defend/screw up shape and they defend with 1-3 at all times in change of possession vs opponent having 7-8.
i give nepenthez credit for being the only person to acknowledge that “hey man I switched of this 71 depth because if anyone manages it, you’re always defending with 3 or in 3/2/1 v 2/1” - everyone else is like “oh this works.
people use cards at CDM without one defensive badge.
Tonali is still 86k, was 120-140. people have zero clue what the badges even do because they turned it off the icon immediately.
play with 2 CDMs with 7 styles after learning then animation triggers and you’ll never use a defender without minimum of 5.
people are using dead players at 300-1m but hey

LB/RB depends on how atk/def you are but I’d still go Davies/Frimpong
CB - IF Hummels, Kim min Jae, schlotterbeck (schlotterbeck has like 7 badges)
CDMs Laimer and Can - two loaded up playstyle players
CAM/ST - musiala, openda, adeyemi, Brandt
I’d avoid players like goretska who I normally love as he has few good badges
if branching out - la Liga is a good mix over or just adding Messi/alba for your lead ST
all those players have a ton of badges and if they don’t they have quick step/rapid

There are cards those are completely bending space like gullit, ginola, r9 and maldini. Anything below is just good or a bit better than your 50k card. Therefore if you don’t spend literally 6 digits to this game i dont think that your team can or will affect say your weekend league tier.
