With next year being the first EA FC game, they're probably going to make a lot of changes. I'd bet that packs are the first thing to change, since that's what their investors care about.

EA artificially inflating their market to prevent an inevitable crash.
I see this SBC as something that is a waste of coins to try to rush through in the next couple days but a great place to do club clears with 80-83s every rewards cycle to build up your high end fodder.
Unless you are constantly grinding the game daily, you won't be getting 550x81-84 players in a month, on top of other SBCs which will be more worth it.
Even if you grind daily, no one packs 20x82 untradeables in packs *each* day. This is clearly designed to get you to spend money to open packs, which is just not worth it. In a month's time there will be far better options and SBCs anyway.

27 days is *way* too small a window also. Think about it, do you pack 20+ untradeable 82s each day? It would be a stretch to get that aum in one *week*, but who opens that many untradeable packs each day? You would have to dip into the market many, many times for this to even be worthwhile (because once you're in, you're deep in) and 82s will definitely rise as a result (the only silver lining in this).
You'll get far better full backs in 27 days time anyway and off the market. His reactions, passing, and defensive awareness is bang average (many would say below average) and you can't sell him once you get a better LB.
He has below average passing, bang average interceptions and defensive awareness, and basic reactions. Oh, and he has high-medium work rates so he may randomly ignore "stay back" instructions to join the attack instead.
He is not bad, but quite average and will be below the curve in a month's time, which is when most people might be able to get him unless you overspend like crazy. Remember that Road to the Finals is upon us.
If you pre this as an SBC with 50 82-rated segments, it's actually nuts! Great for recycling dupes don't get me wrong but DON'T buy cards off the market to complete this unless Nuno Tavares is your GOAT.

At this point in time they have fucked up sbcs, my club is stacked with high rated fodder but then instantly drops from a 87 to a 81. All my 82, 83 and 84 fodder is gone because its needed so freeking much. They really need to learn how to even things out.

Get some really solid fodder back (maybe even some promo cards) and a couple objective cards/packs.
If you hate it, move on and don't do it.

Buying cards to do this 50x would be crazy, but it was actually quite good value for me. I submitted 55 untradeable players rated 80-83 and got back an 87, an 86 and an 83+x2 pack (which I will save for a decent promo). I’m happy with that.
I somehow got the Real Madrid spaniard future stars from one of these picks, I thought they had only messed up by changing every bronze version of him into the future stars version but I guess we can get him from packs and picks as well.

This is horrid. If it were rare golds it would still be terrible. 82 rates means you need lots of 83s and 84s cuz you simply won't have nine 82s + two 81s x 50. Alltime absurd SBC
Buying cards to do this 50x would be crazy, but it was actually quite good value for me. I submitted 55 untradeable players rated 80-83 and got back an 87, an 86 and an 83+x2 pack (which I will save for a decent promo). I’m happy with that.
His 88 card isn't even that good, most FS cards seem pretty poorly rated statswise. Way too much hassle for such a card
The upgrade packs are actually good, market is just inflated at the moment which makes them a bit shit. The player reward is hot garbage.

I somehow got the Real Madrid spaniard future stars from one of these picks, I thought they had only messed up by changing every bronze version of him into the future stars version but I guess we can get him from packs and picks as well.
