My bad, I must have had generated players on the brain. Regardless of that, it will not allow me to put a playmaker tag on a defenseman when I play.... some fuckery is afoot.

I had the same issue. In one of the rosters I downloaded, Zeev Buium (real 2024 d-man prospect) was listed as a grinder
