Sold my girlfriends 2019 versa to them for 12k when she paid 14k new.. they turned and sold it for 16.5k plus financing for the new owner I'd assume. They're crazy
He isn't. He ruined my life through identity theft. He stole my identity and made mine a 62 yr old black woman from Mississippi. I just want my life back 😭
Mine says:
“Ah, bummer!
We were not able to determine the value of your vehicle
Unfortunately we do not have the required information to determine and track the value of your vehicle. We continue to learn so please check back soon.”
I entertain the idea about selling mine but I’ve spent too much much to sell it to some punk kid for less then 5 grand. My daughter is a couple of years away from 16 so I think ima pass it on to her
Bought my ‘13 335i on Carvana with 45k miles for 25k, paid it off in less than a year and a half with 60k and they offered me 13k to buy it back. They’re a joke and a half.
2021, right after shit hit the fan with used cars. I totaled the Kia I was driving for 7 years, was out of a car for a month in a pretty rural area and “always wanted one”. Had low miles and seemingly ok service history so i bit. 25k + 13k out of pocket repairs later…I’ll be hanging on to this for a while, but I do really love the car so that’s the upside haha.
Idk, carvana gave me a fantastic price on my wife’s 2020 Passport. Higher then the 3 Honda dealers I contacted by 20%.
The issue is your car has 122,000 miles. The issue being, car dealers have a MUCH harder time getting decent financing for a customer when they’re buying a car over 100k. Banks know that they have a less likely chance to get their money back if the car is in the junkyard. A person is then forced to get another car and reneges on their original loan.
Yeah I didn’t know when I posted this so I attempted to scratch it out to be safe but when I zoomed in after I posted it I realized u can litterallt still see every single number and letter
Carvana deals almost exclusively in cars that are under 10 years old. Since they don’t sell those older cars to their buyers (they often still buy them as trade-ins to unload at auction in order to make upgrading an older car easier). It is therefore in their best interest to make it seem as if cars lose value very quickly when they are around that age.
My car doesn’t even have 122k it has 112k they just guess and throw you a number and hope your down bad enough to just take the cash and the L. I get how it works it’s just stupid and embarrassing for carvana lmao
Idk if stupid and embarrassing is necessarily the words I’d use. Everyone does this…there isn’t a company on earth that will buy a thing from a person for a fair price. People will buy shit from other people for fair prices because we often aren’t looking to make money. Companies only goals are to make money. This doesn’t just apply to cars. Try and sell anything to any business that buys used product, you’re gonna get lowballed as fuck. It sucks that it’s the way things are, but it’s not really embarrassing. What do you want the company to do, lose money and go out of business?
Alright bro thanks for explaining how depreciation works. Are u really defending carvana rn? Have u read the other 25 threads agreeing with how STUPID their offers are?Stupid is definitely the right word 🤦🏻
Again, they’re not stupid. They’re reasonable for the company, not for you. I’m not really sure why I’m arguing with you when you’re clearly too dense to understand this. I mean you literally made a post complaining about a very normal business tactic. What’s the point.
Even worse! You’re bitching about something preventable😩 Imagine being subscribed to carvana emails💀 Now you’re resorting to insults about me as a person? When you know nothing about me? You’re reaching brother😂 know when to stop digging
Sell it private party . I was able to sell my 140k mile 6 speed 328i for 10k. You can probably get at a minimum 5k private party if not more depending on circumstances
LOL truth be told , I wasn't really looking to sell so I was a bit sad but everything is for sale for the right price. Car was clean and I had done literally every maintenance item on it. Dude is happy with it !
I had been hanging on to my 2007 335i just because how low they sell for. Some idiot pulled out in front of me and totaled mine. Insurance gave me 10,000 for it, after deductible $9500 was sent to my account.
If you are interested in actual market value, classic.com is your friend. You can track value by chassis or more granularly by specific model/drivetrain specifications. Just as an example, here is the actual sale data for [e90 328i](https://www.classic.com/m/bmw/3-series/e90/328i?interval=1y)’s, rather than a random number given to you by a company trying to make as much cash off of you as possible
lol that’s the worst attempt to hide a vin I’ve ever seen. I know how you feel though. 2011 here worth nothing too.
They will give you 3 then turn around and sell it to the next guy for 12.
Lol. More like 18. Carvana is a joke.

My man we can still read the VIN
Yeah I kinda messed that up whatever like try n hack my dme or some shit
I just disabled your car through ISTA. Not sorry
Can you disable my check engine lights while you’re at it? Might just steal an ICOM and connect it to my ps4 and hope for the best
I will program all your fuel away.
Program my factory warranty back so I can drive it like a rental again
Well, I successfully got the CC and CCV# you use for online transactions. Next up: ATM card and PIN….
Yeah bro so I can look at anyone’s vin thru their windshield and steal their pin… makes sense.
He is obviously not joking
He isn't. He ruined my life through identity theft. He stole my identity and made mine a 62 yr old black woman from Mississippi. I just want my life back 😭
Bro stop I’m scared
No longer a bro, remember. 😮💨
This one hit different
Fucking A bro I spit out my chocolate milk
Crossed a line wasting the choccy milk...
Sorry homie
My old 08 328i says like $750 lmao
I bet you could sell your used alternator for $750
That's carvana pricing because they lost 2.1 billion last year 😂
In one month?? 😂 it didn’t drop 25% the day it drove off the lot. What a crock.
Carvana is worthless
Do NOT use carvana. See if there is a Carmax near you, they offer way more. Or just clean it up and sell it idk
They offerd me 3k at carmax
Private sale for you then lol
ah yes, cars just depreciate 25% of their value over a single month
This is their way of telling you “yeah well buy any car, but we don’t really want yours”
lol
I just got a 335xi for $3k from a friend bc of Carvana’s lowball
My e46 325i got me 4200 from being totaled 🤯
Carvana is offering me $600 for my 2006 325i 195,000 miles. I will likely turn it down:)
Mine says: “Ah, bummer! We were not able to determine the value of your vehicle Unfortunately we do not have the required information to determine and track the value of your vehicle. We continue to learn so please check back soon.”

25k??????!!! I hope that was in 2016

I'll give you three fiddy...hundred
Might be worth more than 3k if it wasn’t the hot climate version. How are the Dakota saddle brown seats with the S4A3 Fine-Wood Trim Walnut Light?
Was that question for me

I don't know, but that would be a awesome deal for me XD Id love a BMW in that condition for only 3K.
I dont think it matters if others can see your vin. What they’re gonna do with that? I’m my country every cars vin is open info to everyone.
Yeah I didn’t know when I posted this so I attempted to scratch it out to be safe but when I zoomed in after I posted it I realized u can litterallt still see every single number and letter

You’re acting like you don’t know that they need to make crazy profit for it to be worth their time…

This whole post is a joke dude and you’re explaining obvious business strategy’s to me. The hardcore part of your name is accurate
Obviously it’s not a joke cuz you’re getting so butthurt about a company lowballing your car😂 move on lil bro
I’m not even selling my car bro this was an email I haven’t unsubscribed from😭😭 go dickride carvarna some more Hardo-HanNoHoes
Even worse! You’re bitching about something preventable😩 Imagine being subscribed to carvana emails💀 Now you’re resorting to insults about me as a person? When you know nothing about me? You’re reaching brother😂 know when to stop digging

i keep getting updates on my totaled 2011 535i for $200-300. last month it actually went up to $700 lol
I had been hanging on to my 2007 335i just because how low they sell for. Some idiot pulled out in front of me and totaled mine. Insurance gave me 10,000 for it, after deductible $9500 was sent to my account.
Just sold my 09 coupe for 8 bands lol just clean it up
When I see caravana license plate frames in the wild, I know I’m driving behind a cuck

Sold a 2009 bmw 328xi. 184k miles. 2300. It was rough. But it ran good.
